As an experienced real…read moreestate investor, attorney, and agent, I have run across very few people as incompetent and lazy as Jason Huval, who runs Central Metro. He is frequently unavailable, and his general advice every time we worked for him or encountered an issue that needed him to step in, was to simply give more of my commission to the other agent so they could do it instead. It was ridiculous. We would run into issues getting correct information for transactions due to Jason and Vito and other staff giving inconsistent information or being generally unavailable. My lenders also disliked working with them. When I got a complaint lodged against me because an opposing agent was furious that I had left her a bad review due to her incompetent behavior throughout the transaction, Jason told me to gather all of my info to respond. Jason then, being too lazy to write the response as he is supposed to, simply dropped me as an agent because writing a 3 page response is just too much work for Jason. You see, that is what Jason does. He ignores phone calls for nearly a week, then tells you to just pay the other side off (because it's my money, not his, so he doesn't care). He lazily has you do the work while he collects his dues so he can focus on his property management company, but if he is asked to do something he doesn't have the time. I then wrote a response and was able to respond to the complaint. There are PLENTY OF OTHER 100% COMMISSION agencies out there that are cheaper and provide better support. Check those ones out. One I spoke to even remarked to me that he knows Jason and that Jason stole their entire business model.

I will never use another Realtor in Austin as long as he is around. My partner and I were referred to Brandon through a family friend. After awhile of really mulling the idea over on whether or not we wanted to buy a house, we figured we would reach out to him to get the ball rolling. Within an hour of sending the email to introduce myself Brandon wrote back and was immediately enthusiastic about working with us. We decided to meet up and explain what we were interested in, price ranges, and location and the searches started soon after. Brandon was seriously the most patient and positive person through out this entire process. We ended up working with him for over 7 months and looked at so many houses I lost count. But, no matter how long we worked together or how many houses we looked at, Brandon never let us get discouraged and would always promise that his mission would be to help find the perfect first home for us. As first time home buyers this market is overwhelming to say the least. Brandon was not a salesman in any way. He never pushed us to go with a house that we did not like, never tried to do a hard sell, and always left the ball in our court. He was the guidance we needed when we had no idea where to go. He would always lay out and pros and the cons and would speak up when the hard truth needed to be heard. We walked away trusting and valuing Brandon's opinion as much as we do with our own families. He took a lot of the stress away from one of the most stressful events in a persons life. Again, words can't describe how great the experience is while working with Brandon. If anyone ever asks for a reference for a realtor, I will only lead them Brandon's way. And that part has nothing to do with getting your deposit back. They only care about the rent on time and going as cheap as they can on the maintenance of the propterties they manage.
