Like…read moremost other folks here, we got an electric car and had a super old panel that needed updating to accommodate the plug (it needed updating even prior to the EV - super, super old and rusty). Thistle came in middle of the road for the quote, not the cheapest, and not the priciest either. But before even getting started, Jerry negotiated with SCE to get them to back down from requiring us to move our panel to another side of the house, which saved us thousands of dollars - that alone was a lifesaver, and done before we paid a dime. I feel like owning an older home (or a home in general) on a strict budget can be so stressful when you have to hire someone because you never know what you're going to uncover and what it will cost you.
