We decided to try the Eggs Up Grill and were not disappointed. It was a Friday morning around 9am and they were decently busy but we were seated quickly and given time to look over the menu. The menu has a good number of varied choices on it but not so many that you are overwhelmed. I decided on the "Texican Bowl" which consisted of crumbled chorizo sausage, jalapeños, onions, peppers, and melted pepper jack cheese over crispy seasoned home fries then finished with two eggs (I chose scrambled). It was absolutely great! Well seasoned and the potatoes were expertly cooked! I appreciated the portion size for the cost as well. I paired this with the "Peachy Palmer" which is, as you can imagine, a peach flavored Arnold Palmer. I quite enjoyed this drink as it was very refreshing and not overly sweet as you tend to find elsewhere. My fiancé enjoyed the "Chorizo Scrambler" which was scrambled eggs with Cheddar cheese topped with crumbled chorizo, fresh tomatoes, avocado, and a chile-lime crema. She chose rye toast to go along with it. The bowl was excellent! The tomatoes and avocado were very fresh which was nice. The entire plate was balanced and flavorful. She also enjoyed an iced "Caramel Cinnamon Smile" coffee which was also excellent. Our waitress, Becca, was polite and friendly throughout and as attentive as she could be. She brought our drinks promptly and our food came out hot and exactly how we wanted it. She did a great job for us! Another highlight was that the GM John engaged with us to ensure we were enjoying our experience. He really seems like he wants the customers to enjoy everything and it shows. I mentioned growing up in Texas and asked about the grits and he gave me a bit to try, they were also very good! The restaurant is bright and open though, even with the large number of tables and the level of business at the time, it was not obnoxiously loud. The staff definitely keeps the place clean and tables were bussed fairly quickly (nothing left sitting). Overall, this place is a definite keeper for us across the board. While this was only our first experience here, I expect we will be back fairly soon (and probably quite often). read more

We visited for breakfast as a party of two and, the restaurant was busy, we waited about 40 minutes for our food. I ordered the pancakes with berries, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold, the scrambled eggs were dry, and the pancakes came topped with whipped cream even though it wasn't listed on the menu. The one highlight was the bacon--it was cooked perfectly. The other meal was eggs over easy with sausage. Unfortunately, the eggs were overcooked and came out over hard with no runny yolk. The restaurant itself was very clean, and you could tell it's new. There were plenty of staff members, and everyone seemed friendly and attentive to their tables--except for our waitress. She never checked on us during the meal, and after we had finished eating and waited about 10 minutes for our check, she came over and said, "I didn't realize you even had your food." I understand restaurants can have busy mornings, but better communication and follow-up from our server would have made a big difference. Found this place on our way to BJ's in Stroudsburg, and what a nice surprise! As soon as you walk in, you immediately notice the bright, warm, and welcoming space with plenty of seating. We were greeted right away by the staff, and everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to serve. Now for the food -- my husband ordered the omelette, and I had the eggs Benedict. Both were delicious. The eggs Benedict was done really well, and my husband really enjoyed his omelette. The seasoned fries were crispy and full of flavor. The home fries were okay -- probably the only thing that didn't stand out as much for me (I would have liked it cooked more). They're open for breakfast and lunch until 2 PM, and it's a great go-to spot if you're looking for that classic diner comfort but with a fresh, upgraded feel. The coffee was right on, the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. We're definitely planning to become regulars and work our way through the menu. I even downloaded their app -- now I'm just waiting to see if any perks come with signing up! Happy we found another great local spot! read more

I went with my family on a busy Saturday morning. We were seated right away. I ate one of the autumn specials -- the apple turkey melt -- and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. There was a little spice in the sandwich that enhanced the flavors. Friendly service, delicious food, and a clean restaurant. We will be back soon! read more

We absolutely loved this breakfast place! The staff was so welcoming, friendly and super sweet! We also loved the food! It tasted like real food, not fast food garbage. We ordered the red, white and blue pancakes, cinnamon French toast and churro, and croissant donuts! The meals came with any style eggs, which were cooked to order. We loved everything, but especially the cinnamon French toast that tasted just like a churro, as well as the donuts! Prices were also good for the amount of food. The food was average. Nothing spectacular. While the server was friendly, the service time was unacceptable...40+ minutes for eggs. I understand that they are busy because they are new restaurant. Have been meaning to stop in and try Eggs Up Grill since they opened. My wife and I finally did on a Saturday morning. We were greeted and seated right away. We couldn't believe the amount of tables and how bright and airy the dining room was. Our waiter took our order (Wife had cinnamon swirl French toast and I had the Classic with two pancakes on the side). Food was delivered within 10 minutes and both breakfasts were phenomenal. The pancakes were light and fluffy and French toast was perfect texture and great taste. We were asked several times if we needed anything further or if we wanted our coffees topped off. I had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow from start to finish. We waited over 20 minutes just to get our drinks, and it took about an hour for our food to arrive. When it finally came out, it was only warm instead of hot. To make matters worse, the server was not attentive and rarely checked on our table. The food itself tasted old, like it had been prepared days earlier and simply reheated. It definitely did not taste fresh. Overall, the long wait, poor service, and low-quality food made this a frustrating experience. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this restaurant based on my visit. read more

My husband and I decided to try the Eggs Up Grill for the first time on a Sunday. We waited for about 10 minutes while they cleaned the tables and seated others in line. We were served our beverages quickly by our attentive waiter. We were not prepared for the nearly 40 minute wait for our food. We could see from our seats that the line cooks were reasonably staffed and engaged in making food. The restaurant was about 70% filled. When our meals arrived, they were served warm. The food tasted great. However, 40 minutes is too long to wait for a simple breakfast available for less at any area diner. There is a logistics problem and the restaurant needs to figure out how to serve Its patrons in a more timely matter. read more

We just left from the restaurant. Food was decent except the coffee we ordered. My wife want a Caramel Cinnamon coffee but the espresso machine wasn't working. They offered to make it by hand, and we agreed but the specialty coffee tasted horribly. I returned the coffee and opted for a decaf for wife with the intention to remind them to return the price difference, but the manager lied and told us the specialty coffee was not charged to us. Well, we found the ​receipt and they did charged us for the awful specialty coffee so we wind up paying for 4 bucks on plain ole decaf coffee. read more
