Was quite lovely and was even better sitting outside enjoying my meal in the sun. The staff were really friendly, they were going to let me sit outside without even purchasing anything and the waiters was constantly cleaning tables and making sure customers were happy.

The prices are good, the service equally good and it's in the centre of town. I have nothing negative to say about this lovely little cafe and neither will you as long as you don't go with high expectations of gourmet food and Michelin star menus.

Mica cafe was just around the corner from where I was staying and it had some decent reviews so I thought I'd give it a go. Staff in there are really friendly and it is a real old school cafe but the quality isn't compromised. I had a bacon, sausage and egg baguette and a black coffee (just as I'd wanted ;-)) and it was great. Affordable pricing too as that cost me about £6. Great spot.

I was very happy when I found out that a new coffee shop supplied by Allpress opened around the corner of my office. Since Bliss Coffee launched, I have been heading there for lunch about once a week. Besides coffee, they also have a small lunch menu, mostly sandwiches, but also some other dishes. The staff are very friendly and the place is bigger than it looks at first. It seems that Bliss Coffee quickly became a destination for locals either living or working in the neighbourhood. Before Bliss Coffee opened, I found it hard to get a good flat white in my lunch break. Using Allpress beans, I think they are definitely one of the best coffee shops in Wimbledon. If you like good coffee and are nearby, don't look any further.

We decided to give this place a go for lunch, it sells various types of bread, savouries, paninis,toasties and cakes. I decided to try the beef and vegetable pie and it was a large square tin filled with chunks of beef and vegetables - I can safely say this is the best pie i have ever eaten and not mass produced but made on the premises. Once the pie coma had subsided i then tried the chocolate cream filled donut - did i mention that we had just been to the gym so this was well deserved. Even though it recently opened it already has a strong following as by 12.30 alot of the pies, pasties etc had finished but you can ring and order them. As we always have a pie night on the menu instead of the higgledy pies i normally get this will be on my shopping list though i will ring to reserve them to avoid missing out. They sell 2 varieties - chicken and mushroom (haven't tried this yet) and the beef and veg (pics to follow on the checkin) I noticed they also sell the little portaguese custard tarts (which are a favourite of mine). The paninis looked good but if you enjoy a good home made quality pastry item then i recommend you try theirs.

I have tried several varieties of their pies including steak & kidney, chicken & leek, beef & vegetable, all home made tasting scrummy. The pasties and sausage rolls are tasty and ample size. The jam doughnuts are huge, fluffy and full of jam. At Lunch time they serve homemade soup, pannis, toasties etc. A large selection of freshly made sandwiches along with refreshments. The service is always super friendly. There are not many tables but it's worth waiting. The cafe is spotless, bright and welcoming. Always happy to take a telephone order and have it waiting for you to collect. It's a thumb up from me. Xoxo
