Run, do not walk, as fast as you can from Gloria Egger! She was the property manager for our townhouse complex for 2 yrs, 3 mos and she was absolutely horrible.
She alienated every owner and resident here, including the homeowner's board. The board was in the process of researching a new property manager with the intention of firing her, when Gloria handed in her resignation. We were all thrilled. Gloria Egger is extremely unprofessional, makes many mistakes which she blames on everyone but herself, is very unpleasant and difficult to get along with, does not follow state mandated By-Laws, was not well versed in our CC&R's nor did she follow them, alienated vendors by being difficult and unpleasant, incompetent when using email and the internet, accuses people of not paying monthly dues when in fact it was her mistake, never apologizes, is vengeful, and just all-around nasty.
We believe she did not follow state mandated By-Laws and our CC&R's because she did not understand them. Gloria is not intelligent and doesn't seem to grasp the most basic concepts. One example: Gloria thought the word "personnel" meant "personal"...this was a very important distinction as it concerned one very important By-Law. Because she did not know the meaning of "personnel" her advice to the board was actually illegal. Another example: she sent out the ballot for the new homeowner's board election with completely wrong information as to how to vote. Gloria actually instructed each homeowner that they could vote 5 times for one candidate if they wanted to! We caught the error before the election, but after after all the ballots had been mailed out which meant sending out all new ballots a second time. This error cost us time and money and as a result, 3 ballots had to be disqualified as they had voted incorrectly per Gloria's first instructions. Gloria never apologized for her mistake. There are many, many more examples of Gloria's incompetence but far too many to list here.
Save yourself a lot of misery and hire anyone other than Gloria Egger. She left our employment a month ago and we are all very grateful she is gone. We have since discovered she has resigned from other property management positions as well, a pattern it seems. As soon as people start to question her and stand up to her she has a temper tantrum (which she did at one of our board meetings) and threatens to resign if people aren't "nice" to her! We all had a nice laugh about that one after the meeting. Gloria Egger has no business being in the property management business, she is horrible. read more
