I came to Egg Works for brunch (with two dogs) and really enjoyed our time there. Service was quick and super friendly despite us sitting outside at the very last table to allow for the dogs to spread out. The burrito was tasty, really good size, and full of meat (not just rice). We tried to eat at a breakfast restaurant very near our mom's house here in Henderson. Didn't work out because of their incompetence. Tried the egg works instead mainly because of the good reviews. Turns out they were right on the money with the good reviews. Got our seat very quickly for a busy Sunday morning. Hostesses, servers were excellent. Food was outstanding and not overpriced. I decided to try this place again and was disappointed again. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs with hash browns and an English muffin. Everything was ok except the English muffin, it didn't seem like it was toasted at all, it was cold and dry. My server only came by once to check on me right after the food came out, The next time I saw her is when she walked by and dropped my bill on the table without saying a word to me. It was not crowded when I came in so there is no excuse for food to not be prepared completely. Don't get me wrong, they try hard but it's like there still is no leadership or quality control of the food coming out. I didn't feel like cooking today which is why I went out. There were many choices for breakfast and I decided on this place. Time to say goodbye to this location, just not good experiences for me the last few times at this particular location. It's not the service other then today, it's the kitchen, there does not seem to be a check and balance system in place before the food comes out. I did track down the server before I left since she never came back and let her know about the muffin, which she did go to the register and took a few dollars off. That was really nice of her to do that but more interaction with me the customer would have been nicer as this could have been resolved before I finished my meal and had to track her down in the restaurant. The food is good so please give this place a try and I hope your experience will be better then my last two visits here. I was hoping for a better start to the new year but unfortunately this breakfast did not satisfy that for me. My adult son, daughter and I stopped in for brunch on New Years Day. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly cashier who informed us someone would be with us. A friendly hostess arrived and seated us at a table in the back near the restrooms. A Christmas train ran overhead on the track above us. Country Christmas music played over the speakers, offering the last chance to enjoy the holidays and reminisce. Upon looking through the menu and perusing the many offerings of comfort food, my daughter and I chose breakfast: she, gluten-free chocolate chip pancakes and myself, a veggie omelette with fruit. My son chose a Rueben sandwich without sour kraut with fries. We waited about fifteen to twenty minutes for our food to arrive, reasonable considering the restaurant was busy. The restaurant takes precautions for people with gluten allergies or Celiac Disease. My daughter explained to our waitress about her Celiac Disease and she told the cook who cleaned the grill before preparing her meal. Our food was delicious. The veggie omelette was cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. My daughter's buckwheat chocolate chip pancakes were delightful and my son's Reuben was tender and flavorful, his fries were seasoned without being too salty. The fruit on my plate was fruity and flavorful. Our bill was $59.00 with a 20% tip added. That is after the military discount given on one of the meals. Our waitress was phenomenal. She was helpful, warm and caring. Everything you want to have in a waitress. The ambiance is casual with normal amount of noise. It's a good place to go when you're hungry and need better options than fast food. We will return in the near future. read more

We actually had the best service by a gal named Kerry this weekend. The next time I go back I'll definitely ask for her. She was so friendly and on the ball. I've eaten here many times and never had this great of service. On to the food. Pretty basic breakfast foods. All of which are great. My bf had pancakes, eggs and bacon and I opted for the chicken cordon blu skillet. Neither of us could finish our food as the portions are huge. You will not go away hungry! I go to church near this Egg Works location so when I found myself in the area a little too early I decided to stop in for breakfast. Maybe not my best idea ordering a big breakfsst before church. But it was a good breakfast. Loco moco. A delicious savvory hamburger steak atop sticky rice with rich gravy and two eggs over easy. I had not had that in a long time. It really hit the spot as I was really quite hungry. I was a little worried that I would be late to church as Egg Works gets busy and service can slow down. But everything was pretty quick today. I was seated right away. I ordered almost as soon as I decided what I wanted. I was brought a banana nut muffin which I finished right about the time my meal came out. I am a fast eater so I made for the limited time I waited for my food. And, when I was done, I used the Ziosk to pay rather than standing in line at the counter. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but some friends brought me here one morning and it was actually very good. We came on a Wednesday morning around 9am and were greeted and seated quickly. The food was great and the portion size was perfect! I ordered "The Classic" which included 2 eggs (any style), Habla Diablo seasoned potatoes, with a choice of toast or homemade banana nut muffin. It was our last day in Las Vegas and we did a little search and found this spot. We anticipated the wait to be crazy, but we showed up a little after 10am and we're seated right away at the "bar". It's really just a long high top table, no bartender or alcoholic beverages on the other side. We did a check in through Yelp and they give you a free banana nut muffin, very soft, warm and delicious. I ordered the Cabo breakfast burrito and my boyfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy. I didn't thoroughly read the description and was in awe when the burrito showed up smothered in sauce. This burrito is not for the faint of heart. Very much full of flavor, incredibly filling, I honestly would recommend sharing. The biscuits and gravy were too salty for our taste buds. We have been on the hunt for the most delicious dish. This dish I also recommend sharing as you are served two FULL biscuits, eggs, potatoes and your choice of bfast meat. The Bloody Mary's looked amazing in the Yelp photos, but flavor profile was not there. My flavor profile for a Bloody Mary is full of seasonings, spices, a little heat, not just overwhelming tomato flavor. For all you coffee drinkers, it's great that they give you a cup and a full craft of hot coffee, so you are never having to wait for the staff to come by for a refill. The service was friendly, but not engaging. Our server Sierra, was incredibly sweet. We were In and out within 40 min. In my 40+ years of life, I have never been served or eaten a rotten steak; until eating at Egg Works yesterday 1/7/2022! Up until yesterday, I didn't even know what a bad steak smelled or tasted like. Well, let me tell you it was more than horrible. My son and I both ordered steak and eggs. I started eating my eggs and he took a bite of his steak. He said, dad this steak tastes funny and asked me to try it. I cut a piece off and put it in my mouth and after a few chews I had to spit it out. The best way I could describe the taste is like licking an arm pit with bad body odor. It was disgustingly sour and then I noticed the foul smell. Shocked, I smelled my steak and then my son's; mine smelled normal and the rotten one smell like a sweaty gym. Since, my son swallowed a piece I ask him to go throw it up in the bathroom and thank goodness it was a success fearing major food poisoning. After I inspected the steak with the General Manager she could definitely smell the difference and the slimy shiny appearance could be seen in the bite I spit out. She advised us that with the current shortage of food, that they have to substitute vendor. My steak was a different vendor from my son's, as they just opened a new box. How does a chef/cook not tell when something is that awful? The outside looked okay, as they grilled the shiny and slimy coating off of it. The was a part that looks gray in the picture and when we cut it, it was mushy and slimy. To save even more graphic content, we did have GI upset; however, I was so glad I had my son throw up. I've been to Egg Works for 7+ years and they were okay for a quick breakfast spot. I'm very disappointed with our experience and the lack of awareness of the food they are preparing. I'm changing to Mom's Kitchen for my breakfast spot in Henderson. It's a little more expensive, but they have quality food. I wouldn't risk Egg Works again!! read more

This spot was home-town feeling and tasty. There was a little railroad track just below the ceiling which surprised us... it sounded like it was raining! But we very much enjoyed this place. We had breakfast of course, a friend and I shared the French toast plate with blueberries, bananas and strawberries. I added a side of bacon and egg and that amount was more than sufficient! Portions are definitely large here. Another friend had the raisin cinnamon French toast and that was tasty. And another friend had a side of hashbrowns and those were crispy and delicious also. This review is for the breakfast service at Egg Works on Eastern. The restaurant's hours are 6 am - 2 pm. They have a great menu which includes fantastic breakfast and some lunch items. My tastes are pretty basic, but it looks like the menu has something for everyone. The seating capacity is not large, but there is outside seating available when the weather is nice. We were a party of two, and we waited less than 10 minutes for a table on a Sunday morning. I ordered a cheese omelette with potatoes, a banana nut muffin, and a side of salsa. My friend ordered the "All-American," which is bacon and eggs. The food came to our table in about 15 minutes. Our breakfasts were presented well on the plate and were delicious! The second part of my review is about the disappointing service. I used to be a food service trainer for many years. My comments are not meant to be rude or mean but constructive. I would recommend this server shadow a trainer for one more shift, focusing on some critical points for customer service. 1) Refill coffee at least once. 2) Clear dirty plates when dropping the check. 3) This server did not return to place a "To Go" order before we left. My friend told our server she wanted an order of biscuits and gravy to take home when we placed our breakfast order. Would I go back to Egg Works? Absolutely. read more

We waited only 20 mins to seat and the entire staff is working their tails off. Our server Chris is really nice and even showed us how to get a free banana nut muffin per guest. He was checking in with us constantly to make sure the food was right and tasted good. Cute restaurant for train lovers. My little boy loved the train that went all around the restaurant. The menu is large for those who love breakfast food. I opted for the hablo diablo burger. It was a large burger that came with excellent fries. The fries had a spicy seasoning on them that was used sparingly. The burger had a Cajun seasoning on it and a spicy chipotle sauce. I wish I would have asked for extra sauce on the side for my burger. The service seemed to not have just one person waiting on your table but anyone who passed by helped.
