It's my day off! I decided I wanted to take my parents out to breakfast. I checked in with the hostess at 11:45 and got a text that we have a wait of 15-20 mins. Perfect! 45 mins went by and we can see on the virtual waitlist the times are off and we're 6 parties behind. We got seated at 12:35 almost an hour later. We checked in on Yelp for our Banana Nut bread which was served cold. Then we were told our food is 40 mins behind since the kitchen was backed up. We already waited this long we decided to hang out and wait. I got the Prime Rib Benny, my dad got a veggie omelette with potatoes and my mother got Hawaiian French Toast. Food was mediocre, my potatoes were salty and my prime rib tasted like chopped up Slim Jim's. Honestly the 2 hour wait was ridiculous. If you have your kitchen backed up, stop seating people. It's also ridiculous this restaurant kept having random parties show up and seated first when we waited for an hour. It's frustrating knowing they also WALKED IN and I heard the group of 7 say they didn't have a reservation and were still seated before us. Likely won't be back. They have a small patio outside to bring dogs though. Also I used the restroom on my way out and I saw the girl with dark hair and a tie dyed shirt not wash her hands. Gross. read more

Egg works is my absolute fav breakfast spot! Today was no different, actually it was probably one of my best experiences! My cousin, her friend and I came in for an early breakfast before the crowd hit. Chris was our server and it happened to be his birthday, he was the best, so personable and had great energy. This place is terrible. Over seasoned potatoes that are literally orange tossed with a bunch of chopped not even cooked vegetables. When I order a skillet I expect a savory combination of flavors. There are literally RAW bell pepper in this with no seasoning whatsoever except on the over seasoned potatoes. If that's not bad enough, it's covered in a pound of the cheapest orange cheese. I've eaten here a few times (plus @ the location on Sunset), both times hungover AF... and I must say that the Steak&Eggs was pretty good. Everyone I ordered it medium rare, it came out cooked perfectly with a red-to-pink center. The country style potatoes are always full of flavor - so get that as your side. Also, they cook the eggs right here! Over easy? No problem. Crack that yolk and watch it run all over your steak....heaven! You also get a choice of toast (sourdough or whole wheat), of the option of their famous and FRESH banana nut muffin! If you check in on yelp you get an additional FREE banana nut muffin. These are so big you can share between two people. This isn't your normal muffin from grandma, the muffins here are way better, lol. They come out still warm from the oven (or warmer), cut down the middle of this piece of sweetness, spread a thin layer of butter and boom! Pretty tasty! The banana muffin comes to your table fresh and warm. I was beyond delighted at first bite. Super moist and it passed the stick-to-the-fork moisture test. The hash is packed with flavor. No extra sauces or seasoning necessary. I ordered the half size and it was the perfect portion for me. The hubby ordered the full size spinach and mushroom omelet with seasoned potatoes. Service was ok, under staffed for a weekday morning. Our waiter tried his best but the service was lacking. They had old packs of creamer that may have gone bad already coz it curdled in my wife's coffee. Food portions were still big, even though the prices increased. I think the weirdest part of the transaction was the added charge to use a credit card. My bill with cash was 55.46, but when using a card it would become 62.58 or 64. That seems alot more than 3% for the CC up-charge. Mind you this does not include the gratuity. Bring cash. read more

Pros: Very kid friendly spot, with a casual and fun atmosphere. Huge menu with lots of options, and a very nice staff. Cons: I'm not sure if this was an off day, or we ordered the wrong items, but the food was just ok. We had the jambalaya and the chicken omelet, and both were pretty bland in taste. (I'm from the south so my expectations for jambalaya might be higher than average.) We might give this place a second try since it's literally right outside of our neighborhood, but as it stands now it's not likely we will go back. read more

Egg Works has several locations throughout the Las Vegas area., it's one of those go to places where it's guaranteed to have a good decent Breakfast..It's not it's several steps above I -Hop , Denny's, Norms, Carrow's and Black Bear Cafe... well you get the picture, they have good breakfast sandwiches as well as traditional ones as well. TEALLY good waffles which I always get, the " Cabo Burrito "( HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) the breakfast potatoes are tasty as well. Unfortunately on this visit the French Dip tasted like a the au jus was dipped in warm damp water ,they comped us took it off the bill and brought out another sandwich. The waffles were off today as well... but this all didn't matter because we've been here a million times... and every time we visit Las Vegas they never DISAPPOINT! ! ! : ) Egg Works is a staple for us in Vegas which we always look forward to when in town visiting. read more

My husband and I had breakfast at Egg Works on Eastern this morning (03.09.23). My husband ordered pancakes, eggs and sausage, which he enjoyed. I ordered a veggie skillet, which was shameful. The only recognizable veggie was spinach. The others were chopped so finely that tasting any in the meal was impossible, let alone trying to get a forkful. The skillet was mostly potatoes and cheese. Oh, and two over medium eggs that were pretty much over hard. It was very disappointing because we've eaten there before and always enjoyed the food. The server was excellent, which is the reason for a two star rating. One more issue-- they now charge 2.9% if using a debit or charge card. read more

All the rave reviews are right. My wife and I have been coming here, and to their other location on sunset, for around 10 years. They are a well oiled machine that puts out a great variety on the menu. Food is always good, service is always outstanding and the wait is usually pretty short. They hustle and bustle and you can tell. The stores busy, big and open. Great for bigger families as well. Thank you egg works/egg and I for such great food and times, I've even brought my family here ( mom , sister etc ) when they visit because it's just awesome all around. I recommend the Santa Cruz burrito, Biscuits and Gravy is great, the Godshall turkey bacon is awesome... whew I could keep going.... If you're feeling adventurous, try the mashed potato omelette. Got veggie works Benny and it was bomb. Probably one of the most amazing Benedict's I've had so far. The potato on the side was great too and very unique in taste, loved it - crispy and flavorful. I used the Yelp check in offer and got their banana nut muffin and it was just great. On hindsight was thinking should have purchased some more for home haha. I found this place on Yelp while traveling back from Grand Canyon to LA and this location is conveniently located enroute. They are offering inside dining but with limited capacity (based on Nevada guidelines). However we ordered on the phone and got a pick up and ate in our car. read more

My wife and I returned here yesterday for lunch, hoping the menu had improved. I ordered the tossed glazed balsamic chicken salad, and she had the spicy chicken breast sandwich. The brown chicken chunks in the salad were not tasty and looked worse. The misshapen slab of chicken in her sandwich was hard as a rock and equally unappetizing to look at. Eggworks may be fine for breakfast (The Broken Yolk on St. Rose is MUCH better), but they should remove their lunch offerings. For more appealing and healthier sandwiches, go to Panera or Kneaders, actually just about anywhere else with a more pleasant ambiance and better food. read more

Egg Works has always impressed me with their consistent ratings at any of their locations. After visiting, I'm left wondering why?? This location is near home so it made since to give them a try. I love the interior, the outside dining option as well, but the food was a major disappointment! The biscuits n gravy was just not happening! The gravy was literally cold to the touch, and the biscuits have a slightly sweet taste to them which was a turnoff. The eggs were cooked perfectly at a soft scrambled request, and the sausage patties were of a good quality as well. Their potatoes that apparently are quite popular were nothing more than frozen cubed potatoes with a dusting of seasoned salt. They are popular for most people, perhaps for the large quantity of food given, however there has to be some quality as well! read more

First things first, I never complain, but today I had the worst experience at this restaurant. I called and ordered a to go order for a prime rib Benedict with extra hollandaise sauce for Danny. As soon as I got to the restaurant, I said my name and I had to go order and they went back there and checked it only to come out and not say anything. They literally ignored me. They did not acknowledge that I was waiting for food so I ended up asking them to check again. After the person had checked again, they then walked to the cashier stand and didn't acknowledge me again. Completely different person this time. I then asked another person to check on my to go order and they came back saying my name is not back there and they were asking for somebody named Remi... they didn't want to take any time of the day to acknowledge me and my food. After waiting 20 minutes without acknowledgment, I decided to leave. I am making this review Starving... I really wish I could give them more than one star but unfortunately I cannot. Update(may 26th): The AGM of egg works messaged me and told me that they informed their staff and upped their policies on treating guests with Togo orders, so I increased my rating from a 1 to a 3 star. Thank you for caring about my situation and frustration, and I hope you understand because I still did experience that, I'm leaving the 3 stars. Best time to eat here is during the week, weekends are way too crowded, lots of free parking , friendly hostess and absolutely delicious food , great menu variety (so many choices), with great prices! Went to this location for breakfast and we are so glad that they have reopened their doors and welcomed everyone with open arms following safety protocol amid the COVID 19 alert. When we arrived, we stood in a short line outside their door and we were ushered in, per party, and sat at our tables. We were sat one table away from the party next to us. We were welcomed by Tyler who seemed genuinely glad to see and help us. Our drink order came very fast follwed shortly by our large meal, we shared it, that was made fresh. Our utensils were placed inside a brown bag and we had to specifically ask for condiments. Egg Works made our dine-in experience feel very safe and stress free. Location: This location is very near the Seven Hills neighborhood right off of the North/South 'Eastern Ave'. It is noted to be seriously busy when ever we drive by. Parking: Nice parking area surrounding the restaurant. Venue: Large sized dining room that starts to get really busy around 7:30 AM. There is also an out door dining area which is 'dog friendly' according to a sign. I am not clear on reservations or wait lists. Website and restaurant information is silent on this other than to say "give us a call". Interior is casual and interesting with a model train circulating the interior. Breakfast and lunch: They are set up for high volume breakfast and lunch. That may explain the lack of focus on reservations. Service: These guy's are pros and can handle a large walk in group or a table full of regulars. Pay at the table on an electronic device. Friendly, helpful, and they anticipate your needs. Food: We only go for breakfast. It is more pleasant and better priced than a nearby trendy avant-garde breakfast joint. These guys are solid and you are not going to pay too much. read more
