Carnivor
Yesenia J.

Such a cute brunch spot! Egg & Berry has a beautiful, modern atmosphere and the food was just as good. We tried a few different things, but the Carnivore was definitely one of my favorites the ribeye was tender, perfectly seasoned, and the chimichurri really took it to the next level. I also loved that everything tasted fresh and made with quality ingredients.

Chorizo Tex mex skillet, pecan pumpkin pancakes, pancake flight: buttermilk pancake, ricotta and blueberry pancake, Dubai chocolate pancake

The buttermilk pancakes were very good and fluffy. I wasn't a big fan of the blueberry ricotta pancakes. The ricotta cream was good but the blueberry topping tasted like canned blueberry pie filling. The Dubai chocolate was ok. I liked the strawberries and kaitifi added a nice crunch but the chocolate tasted a bit artificial. The base pancakes are really good but some of the toppings need some work. Erica was a very good server. Tends to be crowded on weekends so make sure to make a reservation on their website or else you might be waiting for an hour.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! I love all of the decor and the opportunity for photos ops! The menu is HUGEEEE perfect for anyone to find something to try. The service was fantastic, from my helpful and kind server to the amazing mangers walking around to check in on everyone. I 110% would recommend this local family owned restaurant to everyone!

We went as a party of 2 for breakfast around 11am on a Sunday. We did check in on the wait list via the website when we saw it could be a 45 minute wait time. I would say we were seated in about 20 minutes. Everyone was extremely friendly. Water was brought right away and menus provided. There are lots of options to choose from. The food came out in great portions and hot. The decor is cute with the mix of flowers and gold stand out piecees all around. Drinks were good. They offer non-alcoholic/mocktails alone with Macha and coffee flights. Great way to sample different items. Due to it being busy on the weekend, you will be asked to leave once done if you are just hanging out at the table, which is understandable.

Fantastic service, a waitlist that got us right in, and delicious food!! Could not even finish half of it!! Not pictured but we also had a pancake flight. Just to note, there is no pork and no alcohol on the menu, but you won't miss it. The setting is adorable with lots of great photo opps! Looking forward to going back when I'm in the area.

The food was great! I recommend the hot honey chicken skillet, which was my favorite, and the fall latte flight was also excellent, especially the maple pecan. The service was attentive, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back.

Matcha flight

I saw numerous tik tok videos that had good reviews. Looked at the menu and saw matcha flights and was sold. The inside and decor is all so cozy and super cute. From the chandelier, to the cute phone booth and flower walls, this makes for the perfect brunch spot for people to take pics. Our server was super nice, sweet and helpful with menu suggestions. The matcha flight was everything I thought it could be. 4 out of 6 options I chose strawberry, banana bread, vanilla and carmel. All 4 were delicious. For brunch I tried a skillet (hash browns, spinach, tomatoes, onions, chorizo and scrambled eggs) with GF pancakes. The skillet was just ok. It wasn't bad but not great either. The GF pancakes were pleasant to the eyes but not good at all. The texture was SUPER grainy and you can tell they are GF. Because I live in the area, I'd be willing to re-visit to try something different. However, based upon this dine-in, I was underwhelmed with the food. I can get matcha anywhere and this is a breakfast/brunch place.

The place is cute but they do not have a good seating system it seems. They fit a family of 6 in a corner for a table of 4... we were like bumping elbows and what not. The server was awesome but the person doing the table assignment knew we couldn't fit but still did it. Food was alright a bit overpriced for what it is though. Maybe if we sat properly we could enjoy.

We had such a lovely brunch here! I absolutely loved the fall menu, especially the pancake flight, such a fun idea and everything was delicious. The mocktails were unique and so good, and the service truly made the experience even better. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive. We had such a great time and I'm already looking forward to coming back for brunch again!

I saw this spot on TikTok and, we figured we had to try it. The waiting area is Instagram pretty. First, it's a small space -- and on a Saturday (Valentine's Day weekend) around 10am, it was packed. The waiting list hovered between 40-50 people the entire time. We were quoted 40-45 minutes and ended up waiting over an hour. It just felt a little disorganized overall, so definitely plan ahead if you're going on a weekend. They do have outdoor seating, which is nice. Inside, though, it was pretty cold. We mentioned it and the staff was very kind and said they'd turn the heat up, but it still felt chilly during our meal. I came in hungry after a workout, so I was ready to love everything -- but the food didn't quite hit the spot. I ordered the hot honey chicken and it was just okay. I didn't really taste any hot honey. On the bright side, my latte was really good. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, especially since it was all over social media. But it's probably a one-and-done for me -- I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Time for food:)

I had to wait a while to write this, as I was highly disappointment/upset. All respect given to the business owners. Owning a business cannot be easy. I found this establishment on Instagram, by a woman that lives in Orland, that has her own business. It was nice she suggested this place to her followers. I will say this is an Instagram restaurant. What I mean by that: You can come in and take pictures with the pretty backgrounds and props they have available. That's cool. It's cute. But when you get down to it, for me, it was over priced, the service wasn't good, and I left empty, in several ways. My review: $101.00 later for 2 people. And yes, that price is REAL. I cannot say I will return. On the drive home, we realized, we never got the meat we paid for (the bacon). LOL I truly laughed at that in anger. We ordered starters: Stuffed Churros: Hot, crispy, tasty. Mini Chicken and Waffles (my date stated they were flavorless and dry), I didn't have a bite myself. Main entrees: I got the ribeye steak bowl with special dices potatoes. The bowl was flavorful. Meat was tender. Arnold Palmer was my drink of choice. My date had Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes, with a side of eggs and the meat never came. His response to the meal: It was dry. Everything was just so dry. To have come here for the first time, our server was VERY nice, but she did not tell us one thing about anything. Not one special, nothing they suggested for from the menu, the day, nothing. I knew NOTHING about this place besides what IG provided. I listened to the server at the table next to us. He introduced himself, asked the couple was it their first time coming to the establishment, he shared the specials of the day, what they specialize in, and asked for questions. I told my date "That is how you get it done!". I am new here, don't assume I know the lay of the land. I do not. Our server was a sweetie. She just didn't do her job well. And I just really wanted to go home. $101.00 later, and the experience just wasn't a good one for me.I am still just disappointed. I am certain that pricetag plays a huge part. What began as excitement for breakfast, ended in disdain. I don't care anything about picture taking for the gram or facebook, if my meal doesn't make sense in taste and how much it cost. Breakfast is a simple meal. Simple. How did this happen? $101.00 I can only post my experiences. All the best. As always, you don't have to take my word for it...Go Get You Some.

It has an upscale barn style feel to it with mostly tables, a few booths, and a bakery section in the middle featuring different pastries and sweet treats you can order. The peach mimosa was honestly one of the best mimosas I've ever had. They serve it in a decent sized glass, and it comes with a peach ring at the bottom, which was such a fun and delicious touch. I ordered the chilaquiles, and my friend got the chicken Caesar salad. We were seated right away, the service was friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, my first order of chilaquiles had a hair in it (circled in photo). Another waitress noticed my reaction right away and checked on me, then my server apologized and had the dish remade immediately. I appreciated that they corrected it, and the replacement food was actually really good (after close inspection), but I do wish there had been some sort of gesture for the inconvenience, especially since I had to wait again for my meal and was honestly pretty grossed out. Once the new plate came out, the food itself was flavorful and enjoyable. My friend also really liked her Caesar salad, though she wished there was a shrimp option available. Overall, the food and drinks were good, but the hair situation definitely impacted my first impression. I'm not sure yet if I'd return, but I can definitely recommend the peach mimosa.

The ambiance is modern and bright, with a polished yet casual and welcoming atmosphere. The space is airy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was Ivan, and he was great, answering our questions and giving his recommendations. I ordered the strawberry sunshine smoothie and 2-eggs with meat. It comes with hash browns, and you can choose toast or pancakes. I chose toast. Hubby ordered the short stack (2 pancakes) and chose à la carte items: bacon and hash browns. Hubby especially enjoyed his pancakes, and we both liked the crisp hash browns. I also enjoyed my smoothie. It was refreshing and a change from having coffee. They do have quite an extensive beverage list of lattes, smoothies, mocktails, matcha, and freshly squeezed juices. I am huge on personable service, and a really nice touch was that one of the owners (sorry, I don't remember his name) stopped by every table, introduced himself, and personally thanked everyone for coming in today. This small gesture made our experience even warmer and more welcoming.

On my most recent visit, I was with my wife and our three kids, one of them being an infant. It felt strange that gratuity was automatically added because we were considered a party of five, even though my infant son didn't eat, and the other kids barely ate and shared a meal. The prices also feel high for what you get, with most items around $18 and up. I don't mind paying more when the food and experience match the price, but in this case the quality didn't really justify it. The service was just okay and nothing stood out enough to make up for the cost. I wanted to like this place because my first visit was great, but based on the last two visits, I left disappointed.
