Highly Recommended! - After contacting many other painters (some did not return calls) , I decided on Patrick Egan and his Team to paint the exterior of my house. They did a Great Job, very neat and Professional, using high quality paints and reasonably priced. Patrick cares about Quality, Value and Workmanship. They did a lot of prep work like power washing the house, sanding and caulking, minor repairs including House trims that had wood rots. They were very neat and professional including covering walkways, driveways, windows with Tarps. The painting was done in a few days and they took extra care in clean up. I am very happy to have Patrick Egan Painting and his Team paint my house and would use them again. If you would like to save Time and Money, again I highly recommend Patrick Egan Painting and his Team read more

Egan Painting and Decorating exceeded our expectations; phenomenal work to refresh our home! Patrick and crew pressure-washed our house, patched old cracks, repaired dry rot, blended and smoothed uneven stucco, and covered old vents with new mesh screens, before applying fresh paint. Patrick worked with us to match our original paint colors. He also helped create some custom solutions at our request: we have generic 70's era metal frame living room windows that don't match the rest of our 1920's era Sears kit house. He added vertical wooden strips that fit in the outer wooden frame, and the front living room window now looks more harmonious with the general style of the house. In general, Patrick and crew were reliable, timely, reasonably quiet, and diligently on task. A pleasure to work with, we recommend them highly! read more

Another 5 star rating for Egan Painting! I found this company on Yelp and read all the reviews. I have a redwood sided house that had some peeling and bubbling. Also some od the trim needed help. We are so happy with the work. Hire them. read more

I contracted with Patrick at Egan Painting to replace damaged wood trim and beams and repaint my stucco home. I couldn't be happier. Patrick was patient with me as I became overwhelmed with color choices. He was responsive to emails and phone calls. His crew was nice and very pleasant to deal with. The job was done efficiently and well and his pricing was reasonable. If you need a painter, I would recommend you call Patrick 510-222-3229 read more

Great experience working with Patrick. He understood our needs and worked with us. He answered all my questions based on his years of experience. Once the job was scheduled, he and his crew were on-site and completed the project (house exterior paint, trim, and gutters/down spouts) in 3 full work days. They did a great job and we're very pleased with the results. I highly recommend. read more

Patrick and his painting crew helped breath new life into our older home. He took the time to work with me on colors and paint options and was a pleasure to work with. He and his crew systematically went through and addressed all sides of the house and paid particular attention to problem areas. They worked quickly but not at the cost of attention to detail. I'd definitely recommend Egan Painting to friends and fam! read more

Patrick Egan you made a fan of me, thanks for the two great jobs; I actually used them twice. I called them back to paint another part of my home with difficult roof lines. The guys didnt initially like my colors but once on the wall agreed they looked great! They were on time to start and finish, and priced work fairly. They took time to clean-up and replace furniture. I look forward to our next encounter -- I recommend Egan Painting for all your painting needs read more

I contacted Patrick with Egan Painting for an estimate to repaint the exterior of our house. He stopped by the next day and within a couple of days I had a good estimate that neatly detailed the scope of work applied to paint my house. After a few questions with Egan and other potential painting contractors, I signed the contract with Patrick and we set an estimated date for the work to proceed. As the start date approached, we confirmed arrival time and job duration, and Patrick and his three-man crew showed up on time every day over the five-day job duration. Communications were professional and always courteous. Egan's crew was also highly professional, with excellent attention to detail (caulking, stucco repair, fine trim painting), steady progress throughout, and excellent cleanup before the crew left each day. Outstanding work by Egan Painting, starting with Patrick and extending to every member of his painting crew. A job well done and I highly recommend Egan Painting for future painting needs. read more

We were very pleased with the quality of work that Patrick and his team delivered. They were very professional and kept the property very clean. There was careful attention to detail on cracks in the stucco and caulking all around windows and doors. Another bid we got told us that the paint would fill the cracks. What a joke! Patrick had a full crew and worked on-site also unlike a lot of contractors you there. Patrick came highly recommended and I now know why. I would recommend Egan Painting to anyone. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Patrick regarding painting the exterior of our home. What pleased me most about him is that he was prompt with his proposal and answering additional questions I had about my project. I also appreciated the fact that he was extremely concerned not just about the appearance of my home after painting it, but that my home would be protected for water damage. read more

I should have written this review years ago. Patrick painted my house in 2002, the first spring I owned it (a ramshackle wreck, then, that he made look respectable); then again a few years later once I'd finished renovating & adding to it & wanted new colors; then again a couple of years ago. He did the first interior job for me last week, along with some odds & ends outside (powerwashed the house & deck - looks GREAT - and painted the floor of the front porch a new color, window frame on the garage, etc.). I had wanted to do some interior painting myself but was defeated by the stairwell - too high. Patrick did a flawless job there, too - painted the stairwell perfectly, made the screwholes for the old puppy gate vanish, also made a large Napa quake crack vanish. Not a speck on the window or carpet, very clean lines from the white trim to the wall. And outside, every time - my garden has had zero damage, no paint, no trampling. (I'm a weekend gardener who takes pride in her plants - an Annie's Annuals addict - so that matters to me!) And his prices are very fair. My neighbors have used Patrick, then other neighbors - over the years, he's picked up half the neighborhood as customers, all by word of mouth, all happy with the work. A testament to quality, professionalism and good value. I recommend Patrick without reservation. read more

Wow, these guys are super professional and hard working! We liked the quote as it was a very competitive price and we immediately like Patrick Egan who talked to us indepth about all aspects of the job and what he recommended for our particular house and its condition. He was dependable and always followed through with what he said he was going to do and scheduling. His crew members are perfectionists! The trim and detail work is amazing and we couldnt' be happier. I will post a picture of our El Sobrante house when I have more time. But I just wanted to get the review up so others could benefit from our experience. We recommend Egan Painting highly. read more

Nice guy but not much for detail. He and his staff are careless he spilled paint on my wooden floor and I had to tell them about spots they missed. I paid a professional price but the work was missing the detail of a professional. Spent over $4000 for the work he did. read more

Egan Painting has been painting my home since I first moved in almost 20 years ago. They are very professional and prices are reasonable. They have done both interior and exterior work and I've never had a problem. The work was done quickly and they clean up everything before leaving. If there was ever an area that needed to be touched up, it was done without question. I highly recommend Egan painting read more

Patrick came recommended by our contractor. We wanted our kitchen cabinets resurfaced and painted white (from a natural wood tone), along with painting of some doors, door jams and our ceiling in the main kitchen/family room. Patrick's team did an excellent job. The cabinets, which were over 20 years old, look brand new, and the crew was was clean and quick. Also appreciated was Patrick's flexibility. We were leaving town and wanted to get the job done while away to avoid being in the way/fumes, etc. Patrick was able to re-work his schedule and even had his crew come on a saturday to accommodate us. And he's just a nice guy. I recommend him for any professional painting work. read more

Mr. Patrick Egan (owner) and his team of painters did an expert, and beautiful, job of painting my house in Hercules. The house was built in 2004, so it was time for repainting the entire exterior. Mr. Egan was meticulous in completing and correcting the original work done in finishing the exterior, by having his crew seal all gaps, blemishes, and critically, all joints between the stucco and wood. None of this careful preparation and sealing had been done, during house construction. All surface preparation was done carefully, as well as all finish coats. Mr. Egan used top quality, commercial materials throughout the job. Therefore, the newly repainting home will likely go quite far in resisting the elements, for some time to come. Hats off, and I would recommend Mr. Egan for expert work in repainting the exterior of your house. read more

Patrick and his crew just finished painting our house exterior in Hercules and we couldn't be happier with the finished job. The whole crew were professional, efficient and friendly throughout the four day project. Any issues that came up were handled to our complete satisfaction. Patrick came recommended through a neighbor. The inside of our home needed a paint job and bad. We had 2 other bids. 1 considerably lower and as this guy is actually walking out of my driveway he quickly shakes my hand and says thanks and keeps on going. We believe he wanted to use cheap products and low balled the price, and a cheap hand written estimate NO THANKS ! Another guy considerably higher, just kind of straggles up the driveway like he just got out of bed and didn't really care about much of anything but was still polite just expensive, NO THANKS ! Patrick came in and didn't rush us. He was professional, explained everything, looked around, took all the pertinent info and said he would get back to us and politely left. He gave us a fair price and we went for it. Him and his crew arrived on the scheduled date and on time. I thought he would just leave his crew and come back later for them but no he stayed with them and worked with them the entire 3 days. Our home looks great. What a difference. They even moved some furniture for us and worked around it and had everything covered in plastic. They actually spent the entire first day masking everything off. I would definitely recommend Patrick and his crew to anyone. Thanks Egan Painting & Decorating. Shaky & Arlene Navarra read more
