When I completed the construction of a new home this year, I decided to hire Bruce even though there as no sale transaction happening. I thought another set of eyes on the property would catch a few things that I did not. Bruce found many minor items and a few ones of significance, including blocked condensate lines on the HVAC system. His inspection prevented water damage that would have been expensive to repair. I am very happy with Bruce's service and professionalism and would absolutely hire him in the future. He is very passionate and informed about his craft.

This company should really change their name because I'm not sure integrity is the best way to…read moredescribe this company. We had Kevin do our home inspection. Was hoping his work would match some of the reviews on here, but unfortunately it did not. He missed A LOT of water damage, and not just water damage but MOLD. I don't think he moved anything away from the walls to check behind the previous owners furniture. He even put the wrong pictures on our report that belong to another home. The only water damage reported was in the bathrooms & labeled it as "normal". Once we got in and all the furniture and everything was removed we saw the damage. There was so much that was missed. I had someone come in after the fact and the feedback was like night and day. I couldn't believe how much was missed inside & outside of our home. Foundation, ceiling & roof issues. Even in the attic, someone instantly saw just by popping their head up there. I don't even think he did that. We would have said no to this house if the inspection was done correctly, but now we're sitting in a money pit now. The value was definitely not worth it. We've already had to spend $15k in repairs in just the few months of living here. We haven't even been able to fixed the walls with mold on them yet. Kevin definitely didn't do his job with integrity.

This company is worthless. The inspector didnt bother evaluating anything. All he did was request…read moreeverything be "evaluated" by an outside specialist. I means, seriously? We are in the process of moving and we did have boxes in the garage and on his report he called us hoarders and we had so much stuff in the garage he could exam the cabinetry for pests, when there is no cabinetry and we had already had a pest inspection. He said our yard was overgrown and yet our HOA has already signed off our shrubs and plants as being trimmed and in compliance with the HOA. Said our dishwasher is is fair condition when it was brand new, and on and on and on. Complete bullshit.

As the realtor who was part of the transaction J.C.R. is complaining about (see previous review)…read more I must say I am flabbergasted by his review and feel the need to stand up for Dan Williams and his crew. (JRC wasn't present when the inspector was there, btw). I have been a realtor for many years and often (it's always the choice of the client) have had the inspections done by Home Sweet Home Inspections and Dan as well as any other inspector working with him has been thorough in their job, polite and friendly. JCR may have misread the report as I went over all 52 pages myself just now. Fair dishwasher only means that the dishwasher was working but that the inspector didn't know how old it was. I don't see anywhere in the report that he was called a hoarder (?) Very disturbing that this negative report will be on record for a long time while again in my opinion it's one of the best inspection companies I work with. Lucas Schelkens
