Update (Feb 2019):
The EEC empathy response is appreciated - although compensation and a real apology would be better by far instead. The response to my original review is a classic case of blaming the car instead of the seller's dishonesty. What is true is the Audi I bought was owned by a 'friend' of a owner of EEC (Paul), who had it serviced at EEC for many years, so the history and condition of the car was WELL known before I got ripped off. Further your statement that a CarProof is provided with every car is not true - you did not supply me with that - I had to get that myself (too late after purchase) and see the greater then $10,000 of damage on it. The Audi model purchase is a fine car in general - the honesty in the condition of this particular car sold to me was lacking. To prevent the dishonest response from EEC of blaming the car and not their business practices, I thought it worth my time to give a follow up review to set the record straight and CORRECT some deflection and untruth. I feel bad for the service staff, as they are nice people and pleasant to deal with. But they have an owner who was dishonest with me and the transaction.
Check out BBB as well and DealerRater.ca - appears to be legitimate reviews there (at this time).
End result is that EEC could have fixed this - but chose not to.

(Oct 2018)
I bought an Audi from Paul last year and it was the worst car purchase I have ever made. Granted, Paul was friendly and helpful during the time of sale. For my part, I did not get the car INDEPENDENTLY inspected and relied on Paul's word that the car was okay. The word was that the car consumed a little oil every now and then. I should have stayed FAR away.
I think Paul should have been more honest about the condition of the car.
He never mentioned the high number of accidents the car had been involved with.
So, later on in the fall, I tried to get the car fixed - a valve job to cure the very bad oil consumption. But somehow that did not cure the issue. Either EEC faked the valve seat replacement or the piston rings needed replacing. From that point on, I took the car to another repair shop where thank goodness, the owner was competent. Turned out EEC had cracked the intake manifold when reinstalling the engine after the value seat replacement costing me even more money.
Some hard lessons I learned before purchase:
1) Always get the CarProof first (and not afterwards - like I did)
2) Get an independent inspection first checking everything
3) Get a compression test and if possible leak down test
The one star is for Hany who when I explained things to him, tried to make it right. I was willing to trade in my car on another - but Paul basically overruled Hany when I spoke with both of them in the office.
For my part - I was never rude to anyone at EEC.
I think I was cheated and my goal is to prevent this from happening again to myself or anyone else.
So be careful, if you must get service or a car from EEC.
In the end, I somehow managed to sell the car to someone else and unlike EEC, truthfully reported on the condition of the car to the buyer.
I lost over $15,000 in repair costs over the year. Only got a 1/3 back from what I put into the car in one year.
I would hope that Paul at EEC would do the right thing - but that is just a pipe dream. You know where to reach me to make this right, Paul (and Hany).
EEC may have got away with ripping me off, but everyone I'm in contact with hears about my experience and knows NOT to deal with EEC.
It was with some trepidation that I wrote this review as everyone knows - things on the internet live forever. However, I think my review needed to be posted to warn others.
Note to EEC: I have all the receipts (proof) of what I spent on fixing the Audi.

I feel your pain.. the used car business can be difficult at times with certain issues.. We are learning about Audi's oil consumption issues as time progresses.. I wish you would voice your concerns with the manufacturer not the selling dealer. Oil consumption is near impossible to diagnose without knowing the full history of the car. We try our best to describe the vehicle accurately, but audi's are known for poor engines and oil consumption.. it was no ones intention of "ripping you off" I can understand your frustration with the product audi produced, not EEC Motors. We also supply a carproof report with ever car we sell. We are honest and try our best. I truly am sorry that this audi caused so much anger and money. We are learning from these oil consumption issues and are steering away from selling them.
