Do not use this service !!! WARNING * WARNING * WARNING * Called them to repair a 65" Samsung TV that would turn on and off with a flashing black screen. Was told the LED LIGHTS were causing the problem. Was quoted $180 to fix with a $55 diagnosis fee. . Andre came to my home and took the TV. Very unprofessional !!! Arrived in a beater mini van with NO business identification on it. Gave me a receipt from a receipt book that didn't have any business information on it. I asked him to write down model & serial number with warranty info on it. He took the television and returned the same day which I thought was great service. We plugged in the TV and it appeared to be working so I paid him. 30 minutes after he left the TV started turning off and on by itself. I called Andre back on his Google Phone number and left a message that his diagnosis was incorrect and needed service again. I've been calling and texting for over a week to get nothing but excuses why he can't come back in a timely manner and NO RETURN PHONE CALLS. This guy is a JOKE .. HIS WARRANTY IS BULLSHIT.... The owner accidentally butt dialed us after we tried several times to call him for an update and was carrying on in an inappropriate conversation with one of his friends about how he has been cheating on his wife for years. If I could I wouldn't give it any stars but had to in order to tell my story and make people aware of what's going on and to contact the Attorney General Office of Indiana because they're in need of more people to come forward with information on this guy. My review was a year ago on their website. I call the number on the website read the reviews and spoke with Andre told him about my TV and he said it would be $150. On May 19th he came got the TV I gave him $50.00 , he took the Tv said it would be ready in an hour then he retuned 5 hours later and said it's working then rushed out. So i turned it on same issue so i called him no answer then he call me back and said he will pick it up the next day. On May 21st he did come back to pick up the Tv but needed the rest of the money for other parts so i gave it to him. For 2 weeks he has been saying he is waiting on parts. As of today i have been calling both numbers that was given to me and his cell number is goes straight to voicemail, the other number is a google number thay he want answer. What he is doing is a scam and will get caught If anyone has more information on Andre aka Steve pleases leave it because he is doing this a lot in Indiana. He has my Tv and My Money. I called Edwards TV and there answering service transferred me to this number (219-814-3023) and I explained what my TV was doing (turning off after 4to5 minutes and then coming back on and then repeating that again) the person I talked to said I probably needed a main board but he could repair mine for. $180.00 I agreed and he came to pickup the TV and a deposit of $100.00 to order the parts. We exchanged texts on the progress and he said the parts were coming from Canada and running late , after a month I told him to return my TV fixed or not at this point he quit answering my texts I persisted and continued texting him and he responded saying what TV, this person is a lier,thief, and of very low moral character he came to my home with his child I guess to show how easy it is to rip off senior citizen. SO CUSTOMERS BEWARE. If a person working for EDWARDS TV driving a beige or dirty yellow van not bringing any tools and using a blank receipt book (no name no company logo nothing but what he writes) send him away and save yourselves the frustration this person is a thief and he probably isn't a technician. My wife tried communicating with Edwards TV using her phone and they quit talking and texting her after they made the association. This was a 70" LG Flat Screen LED TV model# 70UH6350 with the serial # 605RMRH10062 he asked for this information to quote me a cost for parts and service he then came with his child and took the TV with him. Called this company in March to come out & look at our tv to see if it could be repaired. He showed up, took the back off & informed us it was the lower buffer in our plasma that needs replaced. Paid the $50 diagnostic fee & he was to look at his shop for new replacement part. During this visit he told us that he recently purchased this shop from previous owner (so I now assume prior reviews are for prior owner). I called him that evening & he said he didn't have one. He assured me that he'd look around, as the $50 fee also includes him returning to replace it. I continued looking around on various sites & thru other tv repair companies. I finally found one on ebay in May. I called to let him know that I found 1 & he said he'd be back to replace once it arrived. Let me point out that EVERY time I call him, I end up leaving a message & wait for him to call back. We set up appointment for Saturday morning. I was to call as soon as we woke up, being told that he's up by 6 am. I waited & called at 7am. His response. "Oh, my wife had to work today, I have ths kids, I can't do it today". I let him know that my husband was supposed to work that morning but was waiting on him. He replied "tell him to go ahead & work because I can't do it today". We then set up yet another appointment for Sunday morning 9am. He asked that I text him as a reminder, which I did. No show, no answer & no return call! I called numerous times over next few days. He finally called from different # & now said he may have covid, doesnt think so but tested since he's sick. Said to call him back at that # & he can either come out with mask or will video call for my husband to replace part. Again not answering or returning calls!
