This company forced me out of my home of 6 years. They are horrible, avoid at all costs, they will rip you off. I leased a house from New Braunfels Leasing for 5 plus years (great company, honest people, exactly the opposite of Edwards) and then Edwards Property Management took over the property half way through the year. The first thing I received from them was an email claiming I was late on my rent and owed rent plus penalties, I was paid up on my rent which was paid on time. This is an unsettling email to receive, i checked my bank and then contacted them trying to figure out what was going on. I was told it's their default setting, fraud, mind you, is their default setting. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about Edwards Property Management, where fraud is our default setting. Any company who's first interaction with their new tenant is to send them a bunch of fraudulent debt notices is not a very honest company. Within 3 months they had raised the rent $150. They also kept $1350.00 of my $1600.00 security deposit for made up charges. The L&N cleaning service who left a review here is Edwards Property Management's neighbor at their dilapidated office. I wonder if this is the business Edward's contracts to help them defraud their tenants of their deposits by inflating cleaning bills? Their office manager Amanda Gloor also left a review here pretending to be a client, they are not an honest business. In fact most of the positive reviews here are from friends, family and business associates or just completely fake.
They don't care about families or homes, they care about money and taking you for as much of it as they can. They also didn't get the remainder of my deposit to me within the 30 days they are required to by law because they don't care if they break the law. Pay very close attention to how they respond to this review, it will be you next if you lease from them. I only had to deal with them for 6 months and they took me for over $1300 and I didn't even hire them for their services. read more
