The hygienist took great care of me, explained what he was doing as he was doing it, asked about any discomfort now, or since the last time. 20 minutes later, I had my little dental goodie bag and I was in my way home. He was able to save teeth that I thought were going to have to be pulled due to the poor work of a prior dentist (with only one needing a crown), and all the teeth he's worked on feel as though they've never needed a filling. If you dread getting the cleanings because of a combination of sensitive teeth and hygienists who seem sadistic, make sure you ask for Kim. I had gone to another dentist who advised me that if a dental practice is in your insurance network they are contractually obligated to charge an in-network amount! If you don't like going to the dentist you'll forget you're at one that's how comfortable he makes you feel.
