Everyone is friendly, welcoming and willing to help. You will NEVER feel like "just a number". They remember and USE your name regularly. The insurance specialist is excellent in helping you understand what's covered and what's not. The billing is professional and easy to understand. From reminder cards to reminder phone calls, you won't forget about your visit. They're not overbearing about it or anything... just helpful. Dr. Richards is knowledgable and patient, fast, yet thorough. She's friendly and takes the time to explain what's going on, what needs to be done, and when you could probably get it done (with regards to insurance/benefits), etc. I'm glad I found a Dentist's office that I feel comfortable with that I can give my loyalty to and receive the same in return.

I have been going here for so long I can't even remember when I started. But I believe it's been 12 or 13 years. My whole family goes here and I've also referred friends. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. They make you feel welcome from your first step in the door. The Hygienists and Assistants are helpful and wonderful as well Dr. Freeman and Dr. Fox are caring, down to earth and professional. Dr. Freeman helped me with my TMJ tooth pain which is what first bought me to the office all those years ago. Both of them deal with TMJ issues as well as anything else that may be causing you issues. They do everything here and they will definitely make you feel comfortable and at ease. Sadly I've never taken any pictures of the office so I might have to update this soon. If you are looking for a reliable, reputable and caring dental office this is your place!

Dear Dr. Fox, thank you for responding my complaint in time. Also thank you for your professional dental service which I really appreciate. But please be notified that my original complaint is towards your billing department work. When you keep mentioning $14 in your reply, I know you are still confused about why I gave a one-star review.There are few things I want to clarify here: 1. There's no copay for preventive dental service with my insurance. Please refer to my dental insurance benefit page I uploaded in my review. The reason why I got an unpaid balance is because your office charges exceed the reasonable and customary amount not because I have a copay. It appears that you and your office still have a misunderstanding on my insurance coverage and that's where my complaint comes from. P.S.: I'll attach a copay definition at the end of my review for your information. P.P.S.: copay is spelled as copay not co-pay. 2. Thank you for reading my previous reviews on Yelp. Due to a failed root canal and going everywhere to find help, my husband came up this office and Dr. Katelynn who put him on the right path and he finally got help. He hates the dentist as much as me so when he raved about this one I had to listen. I have severe dental phobia!! I feel like so many people do. So it felt great to meet a dentist who was caring, compassionate and sensitive to that. She was reassuring and talked to me throughout, after asking if that is what I wanted her to do. I was so nervous and her demeanor really helped to make me comfortable. She is very knowledgeable, professional and great at explaining why and how things work in your mouth. I ask a lot of questions. The staff is friendly and the office waiting room is like walking into a mountain cabin. Just wish the fireplace actually worked. I feel the only downside I can mention, for those who may have read previous reviews of mine. Is that this office is now owned by Redwood dental. However, from our interactions here, Redwood doesn't seem to have as large of a presence in this office thankfully. My husband was assured of that when he first came in after having a Redwood dentist mess up his root canal. Which is why I decided to give it a try. I gathered some courage and booked an appointment before but Dr. Zia could not proceed because of my anxiety. Today, I decided to give myself a second chance because I did not want to be sedate for a tooth filling. Dr. Zia and Michelle were so understanding. Michelle explained everything to me and Dr. Zia made sure I was comfortable. Michelle used a cream first to numb my gum before Dr. Zia started the procedure. I DID NOT FEEL A THING!! I honestly thought it would be way more painful but, again, you can't compare Dr. Zia to any other dentist. I have another appointment next week and I am not stressed or anxious and that is a first!
