The six dollar salad the vegan menu
    Elyse E.

The pickings are slim for a vegan so I got a salad with guacamole. I found too long strands of hairs in it. What a waste. I am giving it two stars because they do have a good salsa bar. I was not able to enjoy it. I will NEVER go back! DISGUSTING.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in LA I had the Border Burrito, and it was a perfect 10. Just the right combination of beans, rice, chicken, guacamole etc. My son had a bean and cheese burrito and liked it so much we ordered a second one. Ambience is casual and pleasant, clean, well-lit, mariachi music on the radio but not too loud. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They made a custom burrito for my son. Also, prices are good and there's plenty of parking!

A really solid quick and casual to go Mexican restaurant. I was not a fan of the fish taco, but the Border Burrito was very good. Eduardo's is your standard to go Mexican with a lot of the classics on the menu. They are located in a strip mall attached to a free parking lot located out front so parking is easy and plentiful. Everything we ordered was made surprisingly fast so we only had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes for all of our items which was great. They have a large salsa bar in the back with a lot of good salsas with many different flavors which I appreciated. Pricing is fair and the flavors are good. As mentioned I was not a fan of the Fish Taco. It's basically chopped up fish meat mixed with bell peppers and being that I grew up in San Diego it just didn't taste like any fish taco that I am used to having. The border burrito with steak however was very good. The meat was well seasoned and all the flavors inside were just really harmonious and very tasty. I would definitely order the border burrito again and would stop back in next time I am in the mood for Mexican.

Came for lunch one day, and we tried the brand new hot honey chicken plate that they just released and it was SO GOOD. I was not expecting it to be that fire but I highly recommend getting this while you can!! It doesn't really taste like hot honey at all; it's more like a fall harvest vibe because it has sweet potatoes and a quinoa and coleslaw situation. Regardless, it was so delicious and filling. I added spinach for extra green and I think it would be even better if you added broccoli too. Pretty expensive though ($18ish) which is sad but as expected from sweetgreen. They had plenty of outdoor seating at this location. The tables were pretty dirty but we wiped them down with napkins so it was fine.

The Diavola pizza I ended up choosing was so good--perfect balance of spice, richness, and that classic wood-fired taste. The bolognese was super authentic and just oozing with flavor, and the Caesar salad totally surprised me--in the best way. It had these tiny crunchy crumbs on top that gave it such a unique texture. BUT I have to mention something that really threw me off. I asked one of the pizza makers which pizza she recommended because I was stuck between a few options, and she paused, looked at me, and said, "I don't really like the pizzas here." I genuinely didn't know how to respond. I even had to double-check with my friend to make sure I heard her correctly. It was such a strange moment... especially because the pizza ended up being amazing. On the flip side, our server was fantastic. Even though she was clearly slammed, she kept checking in and made sure we knew she hadn't forgotten about us. That level of attentiveness goes a long way. Overall: incredible food, great service, but one very confusing interaction. I'd definitely come back..just maybe skip asking the pizza maker for recommendations next time
