I got the chicken tostada and it came with tomatoes, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream. I opted out of the beans and wish that they gave an option to sub it with rice instead of just removing it. Extremely deceptive practices. I was involuntarily charged a $6-7 tip on my order without my consent. The public needs to be aware! When I confronted the staff at Eduardo's they did nothing to correct it. When I called the following day they did nothing to help me or correct it. I had been coming to Eduardo's for 15 years but out of principle I will never go there again. They are untrustworthy and do not respect their customers. Really wanted Eduardo's to be as good as before. A neighborhood staple with solid, clean Mexican food they never took delivery orders. Now, with thanks to new owners that has changed and is also how I found out they are still open! I ordered a burrito on Uber Eats and it was meh at best. The rice undercooked and the steak overdone. I ordered at 7:15 so I won't let them be excused on it being too close to closing- that's 7:45. All in all, if you want to go on a scavenger hunt with a fork, this place delivers. read more

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in LA I had the Border Burrito, and it was a perfect 10. Just the right combination of beans, rice, chicken, guacamole etc. My son had a bean and cheese burrito and liked it so much we ordered a second one. A really solid quick and casual to go Mexican restaurant. I was not a fan of the fish taco, but the Border Burrito was very good. Eduardo's is your standard to go Mexican with a lot of the classics on the menu. They are located in a strip mall attached to a free parking lot located out front so parking is easy and plentiful. Everything we ordered was made surprisingly fast so we only had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes for all of our items which was great. They have a large salsa bar in the back with a lot of good salsas with many different flavors which I appreciated. Pricing is fair and the flavors are good. As mentioned I was not a fan of the Fish Taco. It's basically chopped up fish meat mixed with bell peppers and being that I grew up in San Diego it just didn't taste like any fish taco that I am used to having. The border burrito with steak however was very good. The meat was well seasoned and all the flavors inside were just really harmonious and very tasty. I've been going to Eduardo's for 15 years but I no longer live in the area. Today I was in the area. I ordered multiple burritos to-go with double the meat. What I got was a sloppily made mess that resembled a babies soiled diaper. The burritos were wrapped very poorly and had ingredients falling out. It tasted very bland. There was way too much rice & beans. There was not a lot of meat all though I asked for double meat and they have the nerve to charge extra? They also forgot to put pico or salsa in the burritos as they have normally done. They have really gone down hill! This used to be one of the best burritos on the west side. What a shame Ps- the tortilla chips taste weird now. We were at Peet's and then decided to get a quick lunch. We ordered the border chicken burrito and the enchilada plate. The chicken burrito was okay - not great but fine. The enchilada plate needs help. The beans and rice served as sides were cold and clearly slapped on the plate from the fridge - in addition to being cold, they were not fresh. The rice was also odd - white rice that was way over salted. The enchilada sauce was not bad but tasted like a canned sauce. People behind the counter weren't very welcoming. Came here to pick up a stacked burrito on my way to another event. It was solid, but not the best burrito I've had in the area. Best part about this place has to be the workers and the salsa bar! I was driving through LA and wanted to find a place to grab Mexican for lunch. Eduardo's was easy access from the freeway and had a parking lot right in front of the restaurant. There were a few customers inside eating lunch. It was easy to order at the register. I opted for a tostada with chicken. The food was delicious. The chicken was great. I wish the tomatoes had been cut up. They only have plastic ware to eat with, so it was challenging to cut anything. I did appreciate the variety of salsas they offer with their chips, though we had to ask a few separate times to get chips. It's a good spot for lunch or getting take out for sure. read more

The ingredients were fresh and bursting with flavor. My order was accompanied by some crunchy chips and different salsas from the salsa bar (it is a "serve yourself" salsa bar). The tacos were reasonably priced and delicious! The service counter is busy during the lunch hour. Love this place since I was 13 but ever since they put the plexiglass up in Covid it's lost some of its friendliness. Used to be The Apple Pan of Mexican restaurants now I feel like John Travolta in The Boy In The Bubble when I order and the staff can't hear me. I was out in the area for a focus group down the street and stopped at the Chevron to get my car charged and walked to the shopping center across the way and noticed this restaurant that said 33 year anniversary and looked to be authentic. The crew was friendly. The salsa bar was fresh and original. The restaurant was well kept and clean. I got the world famous burrito and ate it surgery style with a side of guacamole and chips. Everything tasted great. All in, about $12 so I think it was a good value. There seemed to be some regulars coming in, so the place has a following.
