We booked ahead for this place, as it was a Saturday. But we were still made to wait at the back of a long queue, behind everyone who had walked in. After half an hour, we finally got seated upon a rather dirty makeshift table, which partially blocked the exit. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if our server hadn't run into our extended table every time he passed. Our server also had no idea about the things what we were ordering, and had to keep reading the menu - that's fine, he could be new. But then we come to the food. Firstly, the waiting time was catastrophic. If you can't cope with so many people, stop seating them in the aisle! The food itself was largely inconsistent. We received one cold starter, then five minutes later a hot one. And out of five of us, only one enjoyed their main. The rest of us found it either burned, cold, or completely the wrong order. The one thing I will say is that it is good for families, and parties, but for what you will pay per head, you can find much better quality in the area. For everyone else, bare in mind you will have to listen to the brain-numbing happy birthday song every ten minutes.

It has a sort of old-timey kind of vibe, with wood panels along the walls and ceiling and a little performance stage in the back. As the pattys are so thin well done is the only option (although you aren't asked) - while personally I prefer a thicker rarer patty, I think in a fast food format these thin ones work better. My companion had the Texan (£8.75) which included brisket. The brisket had a good flavour but was too fatty so a bit disappointing. We shared a decent sized portion of sweet potato fries which could have done with some seasoning. As with the main restaurants, there is a selection of sauces on the table. It also seems the place to watch live sports over a drink and a burger with tv screens on each corner of the restaurant yet it is still very family friendly and service has always been impeccable. In my honest opinion I do believe they serve some of the best American dishes around and can even compete with some of London's favourite diners. Wild wings (cajun) x6 Incredibly moreish and can see myself finishing a higher quantity bucket load. The wing sizes were quite average but very succulent and meaty inside. The cajun spices gave it a nice sweet paprika garlicky flavour and latched on well on the crispy skins of the wing showing that they were well fried, Sloppy Joes Ticked all the boxes for a fantastic burger. First that lovely pillow soft brioche bun, slightly charred so it came warm. Then came the rich tender minced beef fried with onions and peppers in there to give it some texture and boost of flavour. The sauce it came with was generous, with lovely rich sweet and and savoury notes keeping everything moist and juicy throughout. Finished off nicely with a fine slice of cheese, melted perfectly to intensify the umami flavours. Full rack ribs A delicious slab of ribs, keeping its meaty texture and flavours which suggest it was slow cooked the full length of time to tenderise and soften the meat. There was no pre cooking the ribs beforehand here. This allowed the rich BBQ coca cola sauce to penetrate through to the bone whilst reducing in liquid to create a rich and sticky coating around the ribs keeping everythign moist and juicy. A nice light creamy coleslaw on the side to cool things off. Curly fries These were perfectly fried. It had that moreish fluffy inside and crispy outside that was coated in the sweet mild spices which you find collapsing on itself as you chew, sending the rush of flavour through each mouthful. I say mouthful as who just pops one in their mouth per bite, not if they are this good. Chilli fries Not the spicy chilli as I imagined but chilli consisting of a wonderful well flavoured mix of red kidney beans, onions and red peppers in a lovely thick tomato slurry that helped bind the sauce and flavours on each and every chip. Drizzled with sour cream to add a lovely creamy consistency. Very wholesome dish. Sloppy suits every occassion whether it's your quick lunch or a celebration feast. Food has always been fantastic and paired with that is it's lovely bright and spacious atmosphere.
