The shakes aren't bad. They're suitably gloopy, they come in tons of different flavours and Ed's also do malts, should you desire that Malteaser taste. However. the fries and burgers aren't up to scratch. Ed's brags about its fresh burgers but my burger was clearly of the frozen variety or else it's particularly low quality. The fries are cooked well in advance and left on the hotplate meaning if you want to sit at the bar and get fries and a shake, you get food in about a minute. They've turned up bone dry, as if they were oven chips. And it's a shame. It could be great.
