I had an accident where the bumper on my Pontiac came off. Pontiac is one of the brands that got discontinued when the car manufacturers lost all that money in the market crash / recession. So... they don't make Pontiac parts anymore.
I chose Ed's sight unseen, because of another review I read here, and because I liked the woman who answered the telephone, Sadie. She immediately put me at ease and reassured me that the shop had done work for my insurance company in the past, so it would be no problem. I was glad, because the shop the insurance people were talking about was a Cadillac dealer, and I hate giving money to rich people when I can give it to people like me who actually work for a living.
Ed's did the work, came in under the estimate, and told me an accurate time-frame when they estimated the time it would take to get the parts and make everything pretty. Not only could I not tell that the car had ever been in an accident, they cleaned and sprayed freshener in the interior of the car (it really needed it!) and they even unbent the corner of my license plate that had been damaged in the crash.
I am so glad I chose them and I would recommend them to anyone.
One important note: They are no longer located on Wicker Street - they are now located at 250 Market Street, behind Yarborough's Café & Ice Cream Shop. read more
