We thought we had found an honest and nice mechanic. We scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out to bring our classic muscle car to this shop so it could be put on the lift to have the rack in pinion taken off so that we could take it to another place down in anne Arundel county that rebuilds them on old cars. My husband took off from work to do this and we had discussed the entire process with Ed. The part would be rebuilt, and then my husband would drive back to eds shop to have it installed in our car. He was going to finish going over the car to get it ready to pass inspection. We had the car towed there last night. My husband went there first thing this morning, only to have Ed tell him he was too busy, he might be able to get to it by tomorrow...Really?? What the hell is scheduling an appointment for then? My husband has a busy and demanding job with deadlines like a lot of people. But to be totally blown off like this was so wrong and unprofessional. He actually said that he was busy, this kind of work on our car was secondary and not his main business.... wow, we were so upset that he could just blow us off like this... We had thought about bring our 3 other cars to him for service.... but that won't ever happen. I could tell today that this gut Ed has a temper.... he should think twice about how he treats customers.......word of mouth can do a lot of harm for one's reputation! read more
