She questioned why fiancé even called her, and went as far as to say "nobody will do this for you" and that my fiancé "will ruin the dress if she pursues alterations." However, my fiancé has already had conversations with other alteration businesses that said no such thing. If this is how she acts when someone is trying to give her business, I can only imagine it's worse once she takes your money.

Thought it would be done with plenty of time to spare before prom. In April, a week and a half before prom, it still wasn't done. I have honestly never heard a more rude business owner on the phone speaking to a customer. It took a full 5 minutes for Lula and other store employees to even locate the dress after being given the name of the customer and a description of the dress. She kept making excuses for why the alterations weren't done, saying she had so many dresses to alter that they alter them in order of prom date. That's why this dress was bought in January, to avoid the prom rush! She also could not give an estimated time that the dress would be done, just kept saying "not this week, I'll get to it next week"- the week of prom. Not only did Lula not follow through on the work that was supposed to be done, but she was extremely rude and condescending when she was questioned about it. I will not ever be using this business and I will steer everyone I know clear from it as well. Completely unprofessional.

And that brings me to Sister Cho. Sister Cho is Perfect Fit. She's delightful. Find out yourself. I can only opine as to how she tailors a men's suit, but she's consistent, reasonably priced, and efficient for a one woman operation. So much so that I have eschewed other tailors who offer more convenient hours or are on the way to work. Quite simply, a job well done from a kind person whose great at what they do trumps convenience. Yes, I'm a partisan- but the first suit I bought I took here after pricing around Germantown for a few days.
