He is quite knowledgeable and will help answer all your questions. In my experience the extractions took less than 20 minutes from start to finish. In addition, you also have a follow up appointment one week after to ensure everything is okay. To be fair though my family has experienced complications related to surgery but I wouldn't say that is Dr. Wang's fault. It was just bad luck. If you need any help after hours then voice messages do get routed to his cell phone. Verdict: I know who to go to for help!

In trying to decide if I should go back to SF to fix them, or drive to Castro Valley to see my childhood dentist since they were much closer, the dentist in Castro Valley told me that these were very minor cavitites and it was possible that Dr. Groat didn't mention them because they weren't significant yet. But to me, it sounds like shaddy business. Wait until the cavitity grows and the fillings are more involved so you can charge more? I don't really see any other motivation to not tell a patient that there is a problem. It would have been one thing if they had told me about it and said they thought it wasn't necessary to do anything, but to tell me there was nothing wrong was misleading. However, they do get some credit for being very friendly, accomodating, and easy to get an appointment scheduled with.

After I thought about this and how long it would take my wife called them and asked to get my xrays so I could find another dentist they told us they would see me sooner. That appointment was for today, we even called 2 days before to confirm the appointment and it was confirmed over the phone. Today I went for the appointment, and I was told it was cancelled because I never confirmed. At his point I got my xrays and will find another dentist that will see me in a more timely matter and not prolong the process.
