SkyTrain sounds like a designer drug you'd see in a dystopian Sci-fi movie, but the only high this Skytrain gave me was the feeling of ease, when going from the airport to my hotel in downtown Vancouver. I wish they made public transportation that was this smooth all over the US and not just major cities. This train runs all over Vancouver and its outliers cities and is the preferred mode of transportation by locals. The maps are easy to figure out and there's no need to purchase a day pass. If you're just doing one or two quick trips. You can just tap your credit card on the entry turnstile and kaboom... you're cruising on the SkyTrain. Ready to chase the dragon called life? Then prepare to get lifted on the SkyTrain.

Yelp Review 2023 #247:…read more I've used the SkyTrain in Vancouver to get to/from the airport using the Canada Line which takes about 30 minutes to the Waterfront Station when I'm staying at hotels nearby. From the airport, just follow the signs to SkyTrain. You'll have to go outside, cross the street, take 2-3 escalators to get to the station. There are kiosks you can use to purchase a pass/ ticket. You can pay with cash or card. And there's always a SkyTrain employee nearby should you need assistance. There's a train every 10 minutes. I've never had an issue using the SkyTrain. The times I've used it, the train was clean. There's free wifi onboard and space for luggage. There's a USB port under the window next to your seat so you can charge your phone. Be sure not to throw away your ticket as sometimes somebody checks for them. I've used the SkyTrain to get to Yaletown and Broadway and that's about it (outside of the airport and Waterfront).

Pretty much unchanged since the 1980s. Futuristic look back then. Now it looks like a worn down space station. To be honest, the station itself isn't very good for several reasons. First, it doesn't actually span the road - the entrances are only on the E side. Secondly, the original station was obviously built without accessibility in mind. The staircases are narrow and steep. There are also no escalators. Looks like they added a ramp as part of a later series of renovations. Lastly, the platform area is pretty cramped. Yes it does the job, but it's definitely not one of the nicer stations in the network.

The platform is quite dated and can use a renovation besides the shiny new signs. Large parts of the metal latticework are dirty and rusty. The view of Lulu Island is actually worth checking out from the platform, as this station is located high up on a hill. This station has a bus loop attached. Very useful for getting to the heart of Richmond directly, instead of having to go all the way back to downtown Vancouver.

Prior to being dropped off I asked my driver if he needed the address as well. Within 5 mins of being dropped off at the wrong hotel I called the company to give them a chance to resolve the issue and get me to the right destination without a fee and they said they wouldn't and I would have to pay for their faults. Will not be using the company again.

The driver; Sarvpreet Mann, was speeding and recklessly driving his tractor and trailer, he hit us so hard that my 2016 F150 was pushed into on coming traffic resulting in a head on collision that spun my truck 180 degrees at which time we were hit again by the tow behind trailer of the tractor/truck. As a result of this accident, my truck was totalled, my wife and I suffered extensive soft tissue injuries in our necks, shoulders, backs and ribs. I had to have surgery on 4 tears in my left shoulder rotator cuff and my bicep tendon. The accident closed the Hwy down for 3.5 hours and everyone involved, except the trucker and the young child he was travelling with had to go to two separate hospitals. I'm putting this review up because of the recklessness and disregard that this transport driver had when driving his partially unloaded rig on a small highway in the middle of summer with a substantial amount of traffic. Recovery is going ok, as I just had my final surgery 11 weeks ago and am now in the recovery stage. As an automotive mechanic, my shoulder is now only at 75% fully recovered and this man's actions have altered and changed my ability to work and do my job. My wife is employed by the Law Society of British Columbia and has permanent issues with her back, neck and shoulders as a result of his carelessness. I would attach pictures of the accident that shoe the devastation but this platform doesn't support attached photos. This truck driver changed both of our lives in a negative way and we were not in the new icbc "no fault" insurance process but received and are still receiving a hybrid version of it that quite frankly is unsatisfactory.

He did not offer to help us take our luggage out of his trunk leaving it to my wife; we are Seniors at 82 years. He was clearly upset, had no patience or respect for older passengers. He did not say any polite goodbye or thank you. We will be careful not to use Queen City Taxi again if we can avoid it.

We got to my house and he changed the price to 31 dollars. When I questioned him he got defensive, calling me a stupid idiot and threatened to call the police even though he was the one agitated. I ended up paying the 31 dollars (no tip of course) and then he says to me "you people are stupid) likely referring to my skin colour. I ended up videoing the driver for my safety which escalated him more. I knew there was something wrong with this driver when he ran a 3 second red light during the trip home. Do not use this company. I will be reporting him for his dangerous, racist and aggressive behaviour

One of the transfer points between the Millennium Line (which is now routed to go to Port Moody)…read moreand the Expo Line. The station is actually a bit tricky to navigate. What sets this station apart is that there are 3 platforms instead of 2. Trains moving in the same direction can be on different platforms depending on the line. In other words, one cannot simply get off the train and wait for the next one when switching lines. Read the signs carefully. There is a large bus hub at this location. Useful for getting into Coquitlam.
