The layout of this store is not intuitive. There were cricut items in 3 different aisles that weren't even near each other. No rhyme or reason. With a store this size, they really need to adopt the Home Depot model where you can look up an item and it tells you what aisle to look in. I was trying to make a craft that I had found on tiktok and I could not find most of what I needed. Spent an hour looking to just get 3 of the 12 things I needed. They were out of weird things too, like all of their scrapbook paper that looks like wood/flooring was gone. And they didn't have green paper. They had a spot for dollhouse mirrors but none available. They seemed to be out of stock of most things, other than the cheesy decor. The prices are great, but the customer service, ease of finding things, selection, and availability keep me dreading a trip there.

I was in this Michaels recently, and was extremely saddened and upset to see the painting supplies…read morecompletely wiped out. It was like a barren wasteland of sadness. Not just that, but the sketching supplies, calligraphy, paint brushes(especially Princetons, shocking that the Princeton brushes are wiped out completely except for maybe a handful of brushes, but all the cheaper ones like W&N Cotman & Artist's Loft were in supply a-plenty. I know that's not the employees fault, plus we DID just have Black Friday & Christmas, and New Years sales so maybe that's why it was wiped out (just havent gotten a shipment in yet I hope?). I'm hoping to come back in the future after a while and see if it's fully stocked again, or if that poor store just never gets to new shipments in of their painting supplies. All in all, that was sad, and the poor shelves looked like they had seen better says but were hanging in there for the long haul. OH ALSO. To CUSTOMERS who shop in this store--WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU? Obviously y'all were never taught to clean up after yourselves or put things back where you got them, because after I was sad about basically everything being out of stock, I spent a while going up and down the paint supplies & sketching materials aisles, putting things back where you imbeciles so kindly decided to leave them for the employees. If you don't want something, put it back. I can only imagine the state of your homes, vehicles and anywhere you frequent often being abhorrently in disarray & disgusting as all get out. I wanted to send them a guide print to serve as a reference but they would not let me do it and no proofing available. It was a large Giclee so I was a little concerned as I have not ever worked with a lab that refused both guide print and proof. It was a reproduction of my wife's oil painting so color matching is important to us. Communication was over the phone and email so I might have gotten better service in person. A bit defensive when answering questions. Maybe it was me? or they are just too busy because they do good work at reasonable prices.

Wandered into this art gallery yesterday in downtown Edmonds. Attracted by the beautiful…read morephotographs in the picture window. After being greeted by the photographer and his dog, I looked at all of the photographs with my boyfriend. They are mostly stretched on canvas with some framed prints along with a selection of photos on metal. He also sells his work on cards, individual prints and on a calendar. All of the items on canvas and metal are the same price, based on the size. I purchased one of the photos of Second Beach, WA for $39 pretax. Randall gave it to me with a certificate of authenticity, autographed it, and included a free calendar, free Edmonds guide where the cover pic had been taken by him, and a handout of his classes. Randall offers photography lessons at various on site locations. He proudly told us that he loves to teach and offered to teach us. Not a photographer by any means, so not going there. All of the pictures are nature scenes. We saw some of Utah, Arizona, and Oregon but most of them were taken within Washington. He captures great light and colors in his pictures. He explained that he uses a slow shutter time and doesn't use PhotoShop or alter his pictures in any way. This is a great find. I'll be back!

His impressive work isn't PhotoShopped--it's all Randall taking the perfect shots. In addition, he's just plain a nice guy. He teaches excellent classes and has proven results. After a one evening class, I felt like I could take beautiful photos. He uses old school film techniques with digital camera. He gives great feedback and is very available to his students.
