Their honesty and customer service are truly above and beyond anyone we've worked with in the past. From start to finish, we felt informed, respected, and confident in the work being done. They refuse to replace saying manufacture defect. Other stabilizing boards cracked as well and I've been told company can't be responsible for quality of wood. They will not provide receipt of payment in full as well. 7 days after completion they will not fix even though I have 12 months in contract. They also refuse to provide a receipt of payment. Very sad I really trusted what they said about their quality.

The problem turned out to be one JBC could not repair, but our interaction would prompt me to highly recommend JBC.

We recently had a roof leak due to the cover of an attic vent slipping off on our roof. Had some…read moremoderate water damage to one wall in our master bedroom. Called JBC and they came out almost immediately. Mark (I think was his name) went up on the roof and took a look. He nailed the cover back in place and inspected the area around it. He said there was no other damage that he could see and that the roof looked pretty good. He also said that while JBC doesn't do sheet rock work, they could refer us to a business they contract with. We told him we'd get back to him as soon as we got our insurance settlement. JBC also gave us a quote for cleaning and sealing the roof, applying moss retardant, cleaning the gutters, etc., and we are just about ready to call and schedule a date. If we are happy with their work, we will call the in the spring to discuss having a new roof put on. Stay tuned for another review.

It was a small job, but they didn't treat it (or us) like it was any less worthwhile than a bigger one. All three of the main guys are super nice, conscientious, communicative, and excellent at their work. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Plus, they did what they said they would do when they promised. None of the typical problems with not showing up, not responding to questions, etc. I would hire them again in a minute. Simply the best contractors I have ever worked with.
