I ordered a cake image for a birthday cake - only change in the design was the "name". They got that wrong. Their advice was to rub the image with water to remove the name which just caused a green mess. The image was great, the size was correct but this felt more like a home based business that doesn't think through the execution. For example, I have two different names on the image (one being the "example" and then the requested name that was provided I the notes, this doesn't look right". After this experience, I bought my own supplies and three (3) edible images will pay for the printer, ink and sheets. Buckle up, buttercup, because this is a long one... I ordered a screen printed cake topper for my son's birthday on July 2 from a company called Edible Cake Images. While their reviews on Yelp were horrendous, the reviews on their website were fine, so I took the chance. Well, I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt... By July 18 my order had still not arrived, and the UPS representative I spoke to determined that the package was lost. Although the tracking said "delay" and "no further information" could be found about the package, updates and movement had stopped on July 8. That qualifies the package as lost -- again, directly from the UPS representative. When I emailed Edible Cake Images for assistance, even including my download of the conversation with UPS, they insisted the package was just lost and would still arrive. I politely emailed again, explaining everything above, and heard...silence. No response. Their phone number doesn't work either. This company, that had taken my money in exchange for no product, was ghosting me. Worried now about my son's birthday, as a backup, I ordered another cake topper image from Amazon from what I thought was a different company, Cakecery. However, when I looked at the tracking information, I noticed it was also shipping from Miami, FL. I looked into Cakercery further and learned that it is a front for Edible Cake Images! So now this company has received my money twice for a single order and ignored my attempts to correct the issue. The second image I ordered was fine. Intact. Colors are bright. However, I would have NEVER ordered from Cakecery if I knew it was Edible Cake Images. Their customer service is actively atrocious and they are keeping my money for a product that I NEVER RECEIVED. He's such a big astrobot fan and I was really looking forward to surprising him with this personalized cake and womp womp. I received the topper but no personalization!!!! Tried contacting them and 1st time, took days to receive a response. When they got back to me they stated there was nothing I can do but reorder!!!! I ordered a cake image and paid extra for expedited shipping. They generated the shipping label without sending the package to USPS for four days. On the day of the birthday, I had to find alternative cake toppers. Even days past the expected delivery date, USPS still lists the package as "awaiting item." They claimed USPS failed to scan it properly, but I'm skeptical. Either way, it no longer matters - the birthday has already passed. read more

They refuse to provide what I paid for. I paid for three proofs to be approved before order processing. They just processed the order which arrived unusable. They refused to send the proofs. The person communicating with me told me I will get what he feels like sending, be happy with that and shut up. He acknowledges I paid for more but he didn't think it was worth sending. I have been contacting this business since October of 2023 for a refund for the shipping costs I was charged. I paid an extra $45 for guaranteed 2 day delivery. The item arrived 6 days later after the birthday already passed and I was forced to go pay for another cake from a local bakery. Had some good experience ordering for my girls' birthday parties in previous years but this year the experience was terrible. They charge the customer for something they will not be able to provide: I paid for an email file and never received it because it is apparently policy that they will not provide you with one if you don't have a text to add to the cake image (I paid for this service because I wanted to see if the image was pixelated upon printing). They were never going to provide the email file, yet they were glad to add the extra charge for it to my account. No thanks. Taking advantage of your customers doesn't pay off long term. They are rude and disrespectful; I placed an online order on July 4, 2022. The item was a banner for my son's birthday. The company provides different options for mail delivery. I needed it by Saturday, 7-9-22. So I paid extra for the three-day delivery, which puts it here by 7-8-202. It was shipped on 7-6-22. I checked the track order, and it said the 8th than the 9th and 10th. But I didn't receive it until 7-12-22, late. I paid for three days. I emailed them wanting a refund or bill adjustment. They replied, being rude and saying they were not responsible. I work with a lot of companies since I love doing parties, and this one is the worst never had to deal with someone so disrespectful to a customer. I even reached out to UPS, and they told me the company had to call them so they could get a refund. I emailed them that information, and they said I was lying and UPS won't do that. I was so shocked I couldn't believe it. They said they don't give a refund and have a policy stating they do not provide refunds. If I could give a negative star I would. Don't buy from them. Their return policy says 1 year money back guarantee. Which is BS. Easy returns, nope not at all. I have been emailing and calling them for 3 weeks to return a set of cartridges. I bought the wrong ones but hey they only return if it's a wrong product or defective product. To me that's not 100% satisfaction. It took me opening a file with PayPal to get any reply back from the email address I was told to email for a return. Ohh and also their site says free shipping on returns but again nope didn't happen. When I did call three different times the lady who answered was very rude and told me she couldn't do anything about it and to email their return department. But yet just to get the info on who to email was hard to get. She didn't want to give it to me the first time I called.
