This is a double review, for my mother and myself. Both of us have ordered from this location. She had previously ordered days in advance. Her order never showed up, no communication. Luckily she got her money back. Today I ordered for one hour delivery, nearly 2 hours later they hadn't even started. First phone call was unanswered. Second phone call was. I canceled and required my money be refunded. They acknowledged without apology. I'll be filing a complaint with corporate as well, highly doubt they want their franchisees out there not fulfilling, objectively overpriced, orders. Buyer beware. read more

Poorly managed stores. Don't trust any stores with missing store front staff and managers. Dirty and run down inside as well.

The business did not have the order ready at the pickup time. They also did not call to inform it would not be before I drove all the way there to pick it up. They also did not answer the 3 calls I made to them that morning before wasting time and gas driving to go pick it up. I was instead at the store told they would deliver it to me FREE of charge later in the day whenever it was ready and the MANAGER asked ME for what address to send to. But then when they made the delivery a few hours later they also immediately charged me $35.11 additional without consent when I never asked for this to be a delivery but instead accepted a free service out of what I presumed the manager/owner recognized as being significant customer inconvenience and to mitigate the nonfulfilment on their part at the designated pickup time. They also sent RED roses as the flower bouquet for what I told the manager was a sympathy gift for my BOSS who had family death. Who sends RED roses for a death? To their boss!?! Alongside the peaceful doves fruit basket???? I spoke to the manager about all of this in-person and before leaving the store empty-handed after driving there for no reason for the pickup. "SYMPATHY" was ALSO specified as the "occasion" type. He said "I get it" but clearly he did not. And while the flowers could literally have been anything they wanted to send RED roses are literally the least appropriate selection for the type of occasion. And now the owner will not return my calls to rectify any of this. Very unprofessional from beginning to end. I would never recommend and I want my money refunded for a service I did not initiate or make request for and was told would be free. read more

I had to ask for her patience as I confirmed myself but she was so sweet in not minding waiting as I did that. I rarely leave negative reviews unless warranted. Recently, I ordered an arrangement for same-day delivery to a friend that lost their dog. The tracking system told me it was close to delivery, and I was even sent an email that said it was delivered later that night. Hadn't heard anything from the recipients, which required us to send an awkward text to see if they had received it. Turns out, it was NOT delivered, and they delivered it the next day. Despite filing a complaint, I was still charged a same-day delivery fee and no message back from this location. On top of that, they didn't follow delivery directions and added an "I Love You" balloon which created an awkward situation since it was for my friend's wife and I'm a male. AWKARD again! Signed up and got a free cheesecake treat!!! Judy who works there is the nicest person ever!!!! From the moment I walked in the door, came out from what she was doing in the back and greeted me with a huge smile on her face is such a friendly positive oura!!!! I spoke with the store the following day 2/26, and they acknowledge that the delivery driver likely made a mistake and that I could only be issued store credit. I had to keep calling every 3 hours to make sure the person receiving it was in the office. They never called me for a substitute, the balloon it had was not available and they did not even bothered to let me know, I had to find out when I called. Ruby and her team were able to accommodate my request with the date needed and also went above and beyond in making sure my basket was able to be transported when I picked it up. Horrible service, called to check delivery multiple times as it was almost 4:00 on delivery day and still had not been delivered. I ordered it 48 hours in advance! I had to leave 2 voicemails with no call back. I wrote an email to them after it was delivered explaining that I was furious with all of it and STILL have not heard back 3 days later! Supposed to get 8 apples there was only 6. One piece of pineapple missing, the white chocolate drizzle looks like a child did it and the grapes look like they were thrown on. Terrible customer service. Ordered a Valentine treat platter and 3 balloons on-line for next day delivery to a local school. The item is in a container nothing like in the photo on-line. I mean not even close. I totally accept that they might not have the exact same container as pictured on the website but expect something similar. Please see photo of product from website versus actual container of product delivered. It is a cheap disposable plate versus a pedestal. I paid just under $70 total and that was the price with a small discount due to a valentine discount code. I called the store directly to voice my disappointment. Spoke to Mike who had zero care whatsoever. He told me 'we don't have those' in reference to the pedestal. He said that's just how they show it on the website. I said that is a big misrepresentation and suggested he bring that up with corporate. He said nothing. Not even an empathetic apology for the confusion. I asked if he could offer anything to make it right. Nope. Nothing. Asked if he was a manager. 'I'm one of the managers' he says. It's obvious they already have my my money and too bad. Today I walked in this location to receive my free 6-count box of chocolate-dipped fruit for my birthday. Upon arrival, the store looked as if it were going out of business soon, it was very empty. I informed the man who was working there that I would like my item. He told me it would take 20 minutes to prepare. I informed him that I would return after work and he said it would be ready at that time. When I returned after work, there was a note on the door indicating that they were on break and to pick up orders from TOGO's sandwich shop which was a few doors down. I went to TOGO's and the only person working in there, almost gave me someone else's order. She looked again for my order and it wasn't there. While she was in the back, the man from Edible Arrangement walked in and I assumed he recognized me because he asked if I were picking up my order. He walked to the back of TOGO's and I waited a while but he never returned. At that point, I told the lady to tell him to forget it and that it was not worth waiting for. Received a text at 6:00pm that said "your delivery is on its way." I had no idea I was expecting a delivery on Valentine's Day, but fine... It showed up at 6:30 and the card didn't have a sender's name on it. I called the location directly and was on hold for at least 20 minutes and finally hung up; it was Valentine's Day, so I'm sure they were busy (clearly, as evidenced by the delivery time). I called back at least 3x the next day, then left a voicemail message requesting a call back. Then called again the next day and spoke with a human who said she couldn't share the sender's name with me until she got approval from the sender. After 2 or 3 more calls, I gave up, even after a grumpy email threatening a poor Yelp review. I finally heard from the sender, who said that he'd finally gotten a notice of delivery FIVE days after Valentine's day and had called the location no fewer than 20 times to try and get an update, as it was showing "undelivered" for the prior 4.5 days. All I wanted was to convey my thanks to the kind sender (my daughter's boyfriend). All he wanted was to be sure I got it (he wasn't sure...even after 5 days). SAVE YOURSELF THE EMBARRASSMENT AND FRUSTRATION and go elsewhere for your thoughtful, delivered gift. This was a horrible experience. read more

Uber driver sent me a text message, made no attempt to deliver, I was home. never rang the door bell, never called on the phone, so item was returned to the Hawthorne store. I then call the store and the person that I explained the problem to was extremely and was not willing to hear what I had to say.
