Over the last few years they finally - took my advice - and have a much more exclusive variety of items on their menus including holiday and birthday packages. They are expensive for the amounts they give. They do give a free 6 box on your birthday. The food is fresh and the help is nice. Ah but 3 stars? I look them up says Plainview is open till 7. On Yelp site it notes they are closed. Who knew. Certainly not me while I call the Phone number, get an animated welcome and some lovely music, and wait and wait. So, I call the 800 Number- the AI ask for a zip code and directs me back to this store to hear more nice music. Thats nice as I sit here and write my review- One, would think that the AI animated phone system- would have a recording noting hours or availabilty , lest someone might just be hanging on the phone!. HA! And, all I wanted to do was make an order for pickup tomorrow. Gheesh! Guess I will just have to stop over and order in store. I ordered a last minute same day edible arrangement for my best friend & after checking the address was incorrect (my own mistake) I gave my BF the address I listed so her husband goes over to the house and they didn't answer or open the door. The next day I called and informed the location of what happened and Tracy I believe was extremely sweet and empathetic, excellent customer service and she was able to fulfill my order within the hour. I received the most amazing arrangement as a new puppy gift from friends, and it was made by the Plainview store and it was made with such care and thought and everything was beautiful! The owner Hillary reached out before, because my friends put down that I had allergies and she should contact me to verify things. She made sure to not include things I could not enjoy! Did you know the dipped fruit is gluten free??? So amazing! I wish we took pics before the vultures in my house tore into it! But even the new puppy was able to enjoy some fruit (not the chocolate dipped of course, I don't share that anyway)!!! Thank you so much!!! I ordered my mother a birthday arrangement to be delivered to her home along with some balloons and a message. Today was the day and I did not get to see her because I do emergency services for steel structures in NYC and could not be there. I knew I would be working so I ordered in advance 4 days ago. She never mentioned the gift when we spoke 4 times today so I finally asked" you didn't get anything from me delivered?" And she replied no. I went to the Plainview Edible Arrangements and met Trina who was very helpful and friendly. She showed me different arrangements so that I could get a good idea as to the size that I was looking for. I was sending an arrangement to a co-workers house as part of their retirement gift. Trina explained how the fruit is very fresh and that the arrangement is put together on the day it is delivered. She made some suggestions such as the addition of chocolate dipped strawberries (which I added) and gave me a great price. She even gave me a few samples for the road . Can I just start by saying that it's been a while since I've had a customer service experience worth posting about. Overall my experience was one to remember. I was very last minute and remembered that my friend had mentioned how much she loved the fruit arrangements from Edible Arrangements. So i thought it was super appropriate for a bday gift. It just so happened that i was pulling into ShopRite to get her some flowers and I saw Edible Arrangements and thought "duh, she would MUCH rather a fruit basket" So i parked and decided to call to see what they had (since i don't wanna take any chances with COVID) and a lovely woman answered. She said they had something ready to go with chocolate covered strawberries in it as well. I thought that was super convenient and told her I'd be there in seconds to pick it up. The hand off was quick and easy and the associate was so friendly and seemed to really care. I placed an order to be delivered by this edible arrangements and they failed to deliver the order on the day requested. I filed a complaint and they claimed they somehow had the wrong number associated with my account and that's why they couldn't get the items delivered or contact me. In my complaint I asked them to cancel the order however they did not listen and delivered the item over a week late. Upon getting in touch with them, they said they couldn't provide a refund. I did an order on Sunday online for delivery on today Tuesday July 1st for a good dear friend of mine and the spent over $135 for grapes that had mold on them, strawberries that were brown and even 3 balloons nut even inflated all way!!!! This was my first and last time using them. I have taken pics to prove how disgusted I am at this company. My friend was so surprised and heart broken that I spent the money on that I did. Got an arrangement as a gift. We were away so we weren't able to receive. It was delivered 3 days later. All the fruit was rotten.

The surprise delivery really made my daughters day special especially because I couldn't be there with her on her birthday because I'm in New Jersey taking care of my Nana who has dementia and is in the hospital due heart issues but once my daughter got the delivery she knew no matter the distance mama was going to come through for her. If I could give this store a 0 star rating I would. Not only did the arrangement look terrible and nothing like what I ordered, but I also came to find out that the wrong size was delivered and the vase was chipped. I was given 3 options: 1. A $10 refund for the size discrepancy 2. A box of chocolate covered strawberries, or 3. (The best of all) See how much of the arrangement was eaten so that it can be wrapped back up and picked up to have the right size delivered. I declined all 3, I spoke to the owner Bret who called me a liar and after he refused to deliver a new arrangement or give me a full refund hung up on me. I have never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. The people at corporate were nice but they leave the ultimate decision to the store and it didn't seem to get me anywhere. I will not be using edible arrangements again. Next time I'll just throw some chopped fruit in a vase and send it on its way like this place did and save myself the trouble. read more

One word - disappointed! While ordering online, most arrangements are offered in 2 or 3 sizes. I chose the medium size for my arrangement, and although it was nice looking, the size was definitely a small! Spending just over $100, I expected a larger display of fruit. Additionally, the balloon was supposed to say "Happy Holidays", and a standard purple mylar balloon was sent. I highly doubt I will use Edible Arrangements again - or perhaps I will use a different location, as some other locations nearby have better reviews. read more
