I had ordered from them through a 3rd-party catering and they did not disappoint. The owner had worked hard to accommodate my team's early morning (6AM) delivery request. Not to mention that they would need to return back later for a second delivery with me. I was testing the water due to my team of 100+ had requested some fresh fruits due to the hot weather. I tried out with Edible Arrangements to see how things would go and lets say they exceeded what I had expected. I ordered a large arrangement for a friend's birthday and spent $120 for it. The pictures speak for itself. When I called the location, the manager claimed to have made the arrangement herself and that it in fact was a large. I was told that the photos online are not what is actually sent out (umm fraud?) and that no effort would be made to fix the issue. Later, the shop owner then decided to send out a box of chocolate covered strawberries as an apology. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with edible arrangements. They are a scam! If you aren't going to offer your entire website then change your website. They didn't offer any sort of discount for my headache and instead said I could get a refund or just order something from the valentines collection. A week before Valentines Day I ordered the arrangement. The last time I ordered from a different store and I thought this year "all stores can't be the same" well I was wrong. I called before placing an order to make sure that it would get delivered on time. The associate told me "if it was getting delivered to a business, all orders are delivered before 2pm". I said perfect and placed my order. On the day of, since I wasn't in town, I expected a txt saying "I love your gift" but still nothing. And it's past 2pm. I checked the app and it said in transit. I called the store and complained, i asked if my order doesn't get complete before she gets off, what's the next step since it was already past 2pm. Let's keep in mind, she works an hour from where she lives so there was no way they would make the delivery before the day is over. The associate told me they would deliver to the residence. I said no, if it doesn't make it before she gets off, I'd like to cancel my order. She told me I couldn't cancel my order. I told her I WILL CANCEL MY ORDER IF IT DOESNT MAKE IT BEFORE SHE GETS OFF WORK BECAUSE ANOTHER ASSOCIATE TOLD ME BEFORE 2pm. She responded "we don't make promises". And she also followed with I'll call my driver to let them know. I asked "let them know what, to not worry about me because I plan on canceling". She paused for a minute then responded with, to let them know to hurry. So I waited....she did get the flowers 5 minutes before she got off. She got off at 5pm. When she got her gift...she had no complaints on strawberries so I guess they were fine but she said the flowers looked like they were already dying. I had to change the delivery date and called the Encinitas store. Very professional and friendly customer service rep said it was no problem. I had a rewards free box of dipped fruit that was about to expire so I decided to get it for our family today. I called the shop and the woman on the phone said they didn't have one but she would make one fresh. When I googled to find the location good said the hours are 9-5. I said I would pick up the order at 4:00. It turned out google is wrong and they close at 4. It was just after 4:00 when the woman who had helped me called me to ask if I was coming. I used Edible Arrangements delivery in Encinitas for my Dad's bday and it worked out great. My parent's front door isn't the easiest to access, but the delivery guy, Broc, got it done! He even kept in contact with me over text to let me know. Couldn't have gone better! I appreciate this business for when I can't be there in person to celebrate bdays. I am extremely disappointed with Edible Arrangements in Encinitas. I ordered a birthday arrangement on Thursday morning for delivery on Saturday. When I called on Saturday to get an ETA on the delivery, the employee said it would be between 2-5 pm. When I explained to her that I needed it delivered prior to 2 pm (because no one would be there to accept the delivery) she said that was the only option. Well, I didn't want the arrangement to be sitting in the sweltering heat for hours so I requested that the order be cancelled. I was told I could only cancel 24 hours in advance. Needless to say I picked up and delivered the arrangement myself. Edible Arrangements has absolutely no customer service and does not care about their clients. I am leaving a positive review as I had a another great experience with my purchase and I never spend time to write about it. Last Thursday morning I ordered for a small party a 12 ct box of mixed fruit. The strawberries were so delicious and the chocolate bananas were incredibly tasty. I also ordered the "Time for Dessert" platter, which I highly recommend because the fresh fruit was amazing, the new cheese cakes and the freshly baked cookies were so yummy! I couldn't be happier with the order. Everything was amazing. I was a little disappointed as I could not order the chocolate cookies as they were out but the replacement was well worth it! Placed an order for Valentine's Day over two weeks ago. I paid extra to have it delivered on Valentine's Day MORNING. It's currently 3 P.M., and I called the store, and my item still hasn't left the store for delivery.... EDIT: It's currently 7:40 PM, and still no delivery... EDIT 2: The order finally arrived at 1:20 PM on the 15th. And the chocolate covered strawberries are one of the best things I've ever tasted. And the presentation was outstanding. Made an order to have delivered the next day. Called in the morning to check on the order and was told it would be leaving around 11:30. Even though a different order that I placed with a different edible arrangements location had actually already been delivered so I was surprised to hear it wasn't going out until 11:30. Then I called back around 1 to find it still had not arrived but it was finally out for delivery. Pleased with this information I forgot about the order until about 4 o'clock. Called again to hear that it was still out for delivery...? How is it still out for delivery? She then told me that it had just left and it would be there in about 20 minutes. Now I really let it go, will be there very soon. Then I get a call at 6:30 saying the delivery could not be completed because the location to be delivered to was now closed and would they want me to try again tomorrow... ? When I called back and I had a fit, obviously, Aura (sp.?) told me that instead of delivering the same fruit they were willing to make a whole new fruit basket to deliver the next day. I said it better be a fresh fruit basket after spending all that money! I would understand if I hadn't checked in on it all day long but I called three separate times and was lied to three separate times!! I told her they need to complete my order the way it was ordered originally! And you should make up for all this inconvenience with a coupon, discount, anything!? She said they would throw in a free box of six chocolate covered strawberries. Was that included in my order the next day? It absolutely was NOT! Failed to deliver for Mother's Day -- Beware!! What a nightmare! Unacceptable for a business that focuses on special occasions. I ordered an arrangement online as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day. They failed to deliver that day, and called me at the end of the day requesting, "Is it okay to reschedule?" They said their drivers were new and "probably didn't really know what they were doing." The delivery address shows up on Mapquest and Google maps with no problem. I was displeased, but arranged to reschedule the delivery for the next day at a certain time. My mom waited for them but again they failed to deliver at the scheduled time. I think Edible Arrangements are great but if they can't get deliveries on time, especially for holidays or birthdays, I would really reconsider in the future. read more

I had the same experience as Cynthia H. I really appreciated that the manager honored the groupon past the expiration date since the expiration date was before the actual date since it had excluded Valentien's day weekend (I also had 2). However, a little different experience with respect to picking up the delivery. I am about 30 minutes away from Encinitas and I don't go down there for much but that was the closest location from Vista. I wish someone told me earlier that one of their associates lives in Vista and commutes daily and/ or offered to drop the arrangment off to me (the associate Dinah later told me she did live in VIsta and could have brought me up the arrangments). I did think it was nice that they remade the arrangment as I could not make it down to Encinitas on the arranged date of pick up since I had a class the same day that I had forgotten about but had tried to call them the day before to alert them of this. There was no option to leave a message on the voicemail (bad). Other issues with pick up; the arrangements weren't ready twice. The first time, fortunately, I called before driving down there. the 2nd time, only one order was ready (instead of 2). And, i couldn't wait for them to make the 2nd order as I was already late for another appointment. Thus, I had to drive back down a 2nd time to get the 2nd order. really hard to get out of the parking lot and the parking spaces are kind of narrow. However, I give them credit for remaking the arrangement and for allowing the use of the groupon. read more
