I have ordered from edible arrangements so many times, and this store was so bad it made me promise to never order from any edible arrangements ever again they were that bad. I ordered a gift for my grandpas retirement. They had these beautiful flower bouquet with a white vase that I wanted for him, but didn't like the fruit arrangement that paired with it. So it took me over an hour to figure out how to combine these flowers with a fruit arrangement I like. I paid $80 extra JUST for this bouquet and specific vase. Well, they delivered the flowers in a plain clear dollar store vase. When I specifically chose and paid more for the Arcadia vase. In the past, if a store doesn't have an item I ordered, they call me. Ask if I would like to replace it or get a refund. I received no call. I only know this from the pictures my grandpa sent me. AND the flowers were TERRIBLE. They were like the side flowers you could get for 5-10$. No actual statement flowers. $80 for a sad excuse of a bouquet. Seriously I could have went to a grocery story and bought something for 25-35$ that would have put them to shame. But no, $80 for weeds. Then I come to find out the fruit was bad too. Soggy, old, gross. Started molding by the next day. So I paid almost $200 for a weeds bouquet and old gross fruit. This experience was so bad, I will NEVER order from any edible arrangements ever again after ordering from them for more than 12 years. $200 down the drain and my grandpa was sent trash. I would love to review the product but it has never been delivered, even after multiple calls to the store and the corporate office. The most anybody says is to ask me to be sympathetic because it was Mother's Day. But now it's the day after, and now Uber Eats has been blamed for saying it was delivered but it hasn't. My father ordered an edible arrangement to be delivered on Valentine's Day and not only was it not delivered but there was no communication of it not coming. If I hadn't called I'm not sure we would've gotten an update. I'm sorry, but any business that specializes in gifts should know to be extra prepared on days like Valentine's Day. I will NEVER EVER order from Elmhurst location again!! Called on Thurs, May 8th asking about delivery for Friday. Was assured they offer 1 hour guaranteed delivery for an additional fee, which I was prepared to pay. So I ordered my arrangement online Friday morning 6:49am, found no option for 1 hour delivery. Called store when they opened & was told that only applies for certain items...that would have been nice if they had told me that on Thurs. They confirmed that my order had been made & will go out in next round of deliveries. Ordered a $75 platter for my daughter for TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK. Needed arrangement at the high school in the morning so she could share with her Department. By 4pm, I heard nothing so I called the store AGAIN & this time was told "The chocolate melted, we don't know why, but we'll make a new one and deliver on Monday". ABSOLUTELY NOT. They totally missed the mark with Teacher Appreciation Day. Then they tell me they'll refund me in 10 days! Really?? They were able to take my money immediately upon ordering but now make me wait 10 days to get my money back? My bf ordered and picked up the same day and gave them to me THE SAME DAY WITHIN THE HOUR and they clearly don't use fresh strawberries. Mine had mold on two of them and when I went to check the rest they didn't have mold but they weren't fresh strawberries it was old and beaten. I wish I could give a negative star rating, but it's not an option. My office building was closed to the public over this past holiday weekend and today at 9:30 I arrived at my office to find a smelly arrangement of fruit that was left in the hallway. It was left there on Saturday 12/26/2020. I called the Niles, Illinois store to report this and they did not answer the phone - I called another store and they gave me the "support line" - I called the support line and was on hold for over 2 hours. I spoke to Mohammed, operator 20070 and he said that the delivery person did the right thing by leaving the arrangement at the door - they will not replace the arrangement nor will they give a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and Mohammed said they are busy now and I can simply call back and deal with someone else. What a terrible experience. Prior to this terrible experience - I personally ordered an arrangement for my team, at my own office. I placed the order and I know that the company cannot determine what exact time the delivery will arrive, however, I called to ensure that the delivery was to be dropped during the day (the day it was to be delivered) or the next day so that the fruit arrangement could be enjoyed by the staff (who the arrangement was for) to enjoy - The delivery person delivered the fruit ($130.00) of fruit after 5pm on Monday - I told the delivery person that I could not accept this at this time because I have no where to store it overnight! He said he will bring it back tomorrow - he did - he delivered it the next day - I am sure it simply sat in his car as the arrangement was frozen and the fruit was mushy - I didn't call this in as I have had many good experiences in the past but given my gift delivery over the past holiday weekend and with realizing that we have wasted so much money and time and good fruit - I will never order from any store again. I urge you not to order from these places - you never know if you are getting a store that has "people who care" or not! Very sad - as they were always me go to...now I am going with David & Harry or Olive & Cocoa. My loss = their loss - don't be a loser. read more

I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mother on Mother's day to her job, to her personally after 3p when she starts work..The arrangement was delivered 3 hours before her shift started and she was notified via a text message from a coworker that she had received it! My experience with this store was awful. Last year I ordered a bouquet that was delivered completely rotten to my boyfriend, for which I got credit back from the main company. This year, hoping to use my credit I called this store to order a large bouquet like the previous year, the person I spoke to did not know what he was doing, constantly asking his manager for every question I had. After trying to pay for this over the phone they indicated that my cards where declined. Since this did not work, I asked for a copy of the invoice to be sent to my email; to my surprise they didnt put my credit, they were going to send something different and cheaper to my boyfriend and they misspelled my name address and contact information. They are a bit pricey but you can always find a coupon code online. I also like ordering these for people as a get well gift...nothing helps more when you are on the mend than fresh, juicy fruit. A while back they had a facebook promo where you got a free box of dipped fruit, oh.em.gee it was delectable (and free...did I say free!?). I wish they would have another promo like that again. Also, for Elmhurst's Girl Friends Night Out 2010, they gave away a fresh fruit cup...2011 was just a discount if you ordered an arrangement. Please bring back the fresh fruit cup for the girlfriends...it was amazing! The parking can be a little tricky at this new location. It is street parking only. I only gave them a 3 star vote out of 5 because when I walked in to this establishment -Nobody said "HELLO" -When someone finally assisted me she didn't pay attention to my needs or asked questions to suggest an arrangement -tell me of additional costs included in my purchase I was looking around for 2 small arrangements for an elderly couple and a single elderly woman. Something small since neither of them eat too much anymore. So, I thought this would be perfect for everyone. Not looking to spend too much because I DIDN'T have enough money with me but wanted to do something nice for these ppl since they have been great to me. When I finally decided on the one arrangement she asked if she could add a chocolate Christmas pop? Well I said SURE :-) I then paid for the arrangement and left. When I arrived home I looked at the receipt and noticed there was a $10 charge for the chocolate Christmas pop that I could have gotten two of them at Walgreens for $5.00!!! So much for trying to not spend too much money.
