During my short visit we covered the usual weather, my "accent", her son's military experience, and, with respect to her business, her love of floral designs. She proudly pointed out the silk flower arrangements she does for special events, for general purpose wall hangings, and for wreaths and displays for parties, weddings, funerals and even as grave markers. Everything is beautifully arranged, from the furniture, to the paintings, the jewelry and sundry home decor and collectibles. The quality of everything, particularly the antique watches and mirrors was unusual. It seems as though the owners are particular about the items they select for display. The store has a bright and open feel, probably owing to the large windows and the loft that in itself made you feel like you could curl up on the furniture, pick up a book and relax with a cup of tea. Although I didn't find anything I had to have, I was certainly tempted. Perhaps I'll give in to temptation on what will certainly be my next visit.
