Premium Gourmet Cookies…read more Wow-wow-wow! Great cookies! We were given a sample of the M&M Chocolate Chip Cookie inside our Yelp shopping bags during our event at the Midtown Farmers Market last weekend. As we were making our rounds checking out the vendors I stopped by their booth. I was introduced to their cookies... a husband and wife team but only met the husband making the sales pitch. He said his wife is the baker and he was the problem... voilà! Problem Baker! LoL! Cute! He offered a special I couldn't resist as there were so many unique and delicious flavors and was hard to choose... a deal for 5/$25 + 1 free cookie for a total of 6. My choices included: Chocolate Chip Red Velvet Oreo Date Walnut Toffee Chocolate Chip Mocha Chip Oreo Cookies N Cream The cookies are large, handcrafted and the sweetness is just right, flavorful and yet not too sweet. Amazingly delicious. So glad I was able to try some. While I am able to find them at the Saturday Midtown Farmers Market in Sacramento they can be followed in instagram for a schedule in local areas but the best part is they ship nationwide. Excellent cookies! Each one is the perfect size and thickness. You get quantity AND quality. They…read moredo a great job packaging each of the cookies. The quality of the black and red box entices you to give a gift of cookies to family and friends. I'm quite impressed that I am ordering a box to ship to a family member in New York. The vendor was featured in our local street festival over a weekend. I initially bought two cookies to sample since I wasn't sure how they would taste. My family and I ate the cookies and immediately got in trouble for only buying two. They sent me back to the festival to get more, but the cookies were already sold out! I returned the following morning right as the festival opened and stocked up. Do not miss! Our favorites are oatmeal chocolate chip, Oreos, salted caramel, macadamia, and ube. All the flavors are good so we're going to order more to try.

I've seen Karolyn's creations at many, many children's parties I have attended over the years. She…read moredoes an amazing job following through with a themed cake! I mean, these are incredible works of art! She's so talented! Most recently I attended a bridal shower and I was taken a back by the detail in this lovely three tier, three flavor cake that matched the bride's wedding colors perfectly. The delicate nature of the ombré layers of chiffon ruffles on the bottom tier were absolutely incredible! The all sugar monogram at the top was flawless and the polka dots were perfect, and had edible bold, shimmery glitter! It was an outstanding cake! Most of these fancy decorated cakes I have come to find only look good and lack greatly when it comes to taste. This is not the case with Karolyn's masterpieces. Everyone "oohed" and "ahhed" while they tasted each of the different layers in one cake...chocolate cake with chocolate icing, raspberry vanilla pound, and chocolate chip with buttercream. I tasted the icing on the raspberry slice at it was soooo delish!! Like omg delish. This mama who has had such bad experiences with birthday cakes over years that she swore off these types of places is considering using Karolyn's because of everyone's reaction and how gorgeous this last cake was! I would highly recommend her for your special occasion. Definitely not inexpensive, but a lot of work goes into making one of these beauties and it's sure to be a show stopper and a centerpiece for your party!

Very easy to work with, open minded and open to design ideas you may have for your kake. This kake was made for a going away party to Japan. Let me say, the flavor of the kake was phenomenal. Get the raspberry filling.. to die for!!!

Things are still good here at Texas Roadhouse. Given the commotion of attempting a large party at…read moresuch a place on a Sunday evening, we came here today, as we always do, only for a special occasion. Waitlist via the app is recommended. We were ultimately waiting ~15-20 minutes from the time that we arrived on site since we had put ourselves on the wait list an hour prior. Staff is super friendly given all the incessant "is my table ready?" questions that they get from folks. Things are pretty packed here but we got a table, and were helped and served quickly, and checked on regularly. Our table got the usual: Cactus Blossom, ~6 baskets of bread over the course of the meal, and individual meals. We shared a 12 oz. ribeye w/ ribs combo. Today it was actually not as good as usual, a bit more medium rather than medium rare, and the ribs were dry on the outer half. However, still a completely filling and enjoyable meal all things considered. Pro-tip: put the last bits of your Cactus Blossom in a bun with both butter and sauce for a treat that is much more unhealthy and delicious than you bargained for. To boot, we asked the staff to put our celebrant on the saddle, even though we weren't celebrating his birthday, and they happily fulfilled our wish. Folks here love a good time, even though they are probably easily clocking 30K+ steps filling all their tables.

Steak, Rolls, and a Birthday Win!…read more We were heading from Philly back to NYC and wanted something out of the city, easy parking, and REAL food. Nothing beats a good steak and a roll. Add the fact that it was my boyfriend's birthday the following day and he loves a solid steak, Texas Roadhouse became the stop. They opened at 12:00. By 12:01, people were already seated. On a Sunday!!!! The locals knew what time it was, and that told me everything. We were greeted warmly, seated comfortably, and our waitress was an absolute gem attentive, kind, and on point from start to finish. Love love loved her! Even accommodated my birthday surprise for my boyfriend. But listen... Norm, the owner or manager (forgot the title but may be both ‍), deserves praise. That man was WORKING. Serving tables, slanging salads, running food, checking on guests. I have never seen an owner or manager that hands on in a franchise spot. Ever! Shout out to Norm because leadership like that shows. The staff were wearing "I love working here" shirts and you could see what a well oiled machine it was. They sang my boyfriend Happy Birthday without the saddle as requested by us, respected the vibe, and made it special. He demolished the buttery rolls and said the peanuts reminded him of home. You even get a birthday scoop! The ice cream was delish. Ribeye? Perfect. Salmon? Delicious. Beef tips with all the fixings? Hit. Loaded potato? LOADED. Great food, great energy, great service. This wasn't just a meal, it was a moment. If you're passing through and hungry, stop here.
