Had a very cruddy time trying to pick up my Valentine's Day gift for self and didn't even get the custom card I had for it. The place was packed and apparently you have to commit an exact precise time for pickups or you totally get ignored. Considering I was on a time crunch, this location isn't particularly convenient to a subway and the store itself is minuscule, I was definitely not pleased with my experience and it took days to get anyone on the phone who cared or seemed concerned about this. However, my persistence paid off and I got in touch with a very nice female staff member who made things right even throwing in some pieces of dipped fruit I hadn't had before. This definitely felt better for me so when I'm thinking of self gifts for Valentine's Day I won't totally discount this location though I expect to see my cards from my cats in the future. read more

It's is Sunday, May 10th, Mother's Day... 9 PM. My brother and I purchased an arrangement over a week ago to be delivered to my mother today for the holiday. Almost $150 taken immediately out of his pocket. Nothing. Nada. No call. No show. I'd like to make a point I called them earlier in the day to ensure delivery was occurring. Pure busy signal. I called "corporate headquarters" around 4 and they said "delivery is definitely occurring - it will be there by 8 PM". I was also promised a manager on duty would call me to follow up and ensure. Bullshit. We live less than 8 minutes from this location and received nothing. Thank you for taking my brothers money and failing us, a gift to our mother, during a pandemic no less. One star for the Chocolate covered strawberries were large, sweet and fresh but my roses were dead before morning my husband purchased and picked up on Valentine's Day and I took these photos when I got home and put them in water. I think at most maybe 4 customers can fit in there. Since this store first opened at this location it has always looked clean. I placed My order online Saturday morning. My order was ready to pick up on time at the designated time I specified. The employees are all nice. I have never had any issue with any of the employees at this location. Today I picked up my husband's Father's Day BBQ grill fruit gift, it looks fabulous. For $82 plus tax I got the 24 chocolate covered fruits. Three of each chocolate covered- bananas, apple slices, strawberries, and flaming pineapples in a grill and a box of 12 chocolate covered fruits. The staff did an excellent job putting this item together. Okay, yes I also ordered me a dozen chocolate-covered strawberries for $24 yummy. I love trying the samples. Who doesn't want free chocolate covered fruit? I ended up taking a white chocolate covered strawberry and a dark chocolate covered strawberry. i stopped by edible arrangements in astoria on steinway to order two of those fancy fruit baskets and for 200 bucks the 2 folks getting the baskets should be happy. the lady who took my orders repeated the info i gave her twice so no mistakes will occur. inside the small shop i got to see a bunch of arrangements for pending customers and it made the ordering process a lot quicker , as i pointed like a fool to the 2 basket types i wanted delivered. i like the pineapple dipped chocolate chunks and they had a little basket for 40 bucks so my total got a bit larger. good news both baskets were delivered to the correct places and in a timely manner . next time i may order a brownie /cookie tray for my deadbeat work staff as you can never go wrong with brownies . read more

I ordered the fruit basket last Sunday 5/3 for mother's day delivery on 5/10 and paid a delivery fee and not only did it arrive at 8pm and in a regular car with someone else in the car, but the fruit came spoiled. The person at the cashier was extremely rude. We entered the store. we didn't know someone was behind the counter because the counter top was extremely high. We looked through a book in an attempt to find an arrangement we had seen online. I looked over and realize someone was on the cashier. I told her I needed an arrangement I saw online with a thank you note. I had left my phone at work and was missing some information. She was so self-centered that when she spoke I had to ask her several times to repeat herself. When the transaction was finished she handed me my receipt. It had he wrong name on it so I asked her to change it. She handed me a new receipt. She didn't say much. I was so confuse as to what the next step will be. I asked when will it be delivered. After playing phone tag with a very nice store associate, (because the manager is NEVER available), I finally received a call back 5 days after my complaint. Their way of resolving my receipt of a rotten arrangement: a store credit for 12 strawberries. When I explained that I wanted a refund, I was told "We don't send out moldy strawberries, so we're not going to give you a refund". I had to contact the corporate office to get my issue resolved. I read some of the horrors customers here experience mine isn't all that bad but about price. My girlfriend and I have ordered before from this company, I wanted to order a valentines arrangement for my girlfriend the day before. I find the prices get jacked up before the holidays. I have ordered an arrangment that cost about $45 and jacked it up to $75 and additional charges that totaled $95 after said and done. They are a bunch of rip off artist. Just look at there prices on non holidays and compare them to holiday week and you'll see what I mean. I had to dish it out cause it was 1 degree outside to do the foot work. read more

I had to say something to her before she even acknowledged me and at that point she still barely looked up. My experience here was so terrible I actually felt obligated to register for a Yelp account just to leave a review. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with silence. The worker did not even care to take her eyes off of her iPad to acknowledge who had entered. I decided to help myself and browse through a catalogue that I saw on the counter. I had already decided that I was not going to purchase anything due to being treated with blatant disrespect and asked to speak with a manager. She said his name was Moe and he'd be in next week, all the while still playing with her iPad. I asked for her name and she said she doesn't give her name. I can only describe her as a rather large female with glasses and shoulder length hair. I left completely unsatisfied and angry. I've made purchases at other Edible Arrangements without incident in the past, but given this horrible experience I don't think I'll be giving them any more business.
