We were lucky to hit the last of peak leaf season, but I'm sure ANY time of year is great for a visit to this wonderful oasis. Didn't see very much during our quick visit, but hope to return to check out more trails and waterways. GREAT spot for locals and visitors alike. Hope to return with more time to explore SOON!!

In those 8 years I have had 3 different dogs and all loved East Shore Park. My current dog thinks the park is all for him: he would go there multiple times a day if I let him, but we usually aim for once or twice a day at most. There are multiple areas to explore including tennis courts, a playground, several ball fields and overgrown bocce courts. Unfortunately the sewage treatment plant smell still lingers. Definitely a down fall to living in this neighborhood. But the water views and park itself can't be beat.

It was part of the Sunday in the Park gathering. That Italian ice was heavenly. There were a great amount of activities for kids, music, etc. Felt a bit out of place though as most people here had that wealthy vibe. As if they only shop at Whole Foods and pour any excess money into the landscape of this park. Regardless, I did score a bouquet of fresh blooms (that I purchased) snipped from the gardens for a great price. This place would seem to be an awesome backdrop for a family photo shoot too. Just don't capture those uppity people in the background.

This is a nice little park, but pretty small - 61 acres per the DEEP site. This park is surrounded by houses, so it doesn't really feel all that private. It feels almost like it should be a municipal park or preserve. It seems to be a favorite of locals walking their dogs, which is what we were doing as well. Once you get past the fire road, there's a lot of meandering trail in the marsh area. The views are pretty, and it's a nice little place, but it seems to need some blazing and trail maintenance. There's also a picnic area marked on the map, but it's just a meadow area - no picnic tables.
