Seems the 8 people in line in front of me weren't from the area, so it goes to show- they attract people from all over (one family was in town from Seattle-baseball at Cal Ripken stadium in aberdeen!) Broken into twice the front door glass had been shattered and is now blocked with a very pertinent sign: admonishing that people support and respect local businesses (Shame you have to make such a statement) Flavors didn't disappoint: wanted a sundae and willing to risk "new and different options": per a customers behind me, I had UBE (purple), Raspberry, and Beer Butter (unbeknownst to me this is tied to Harry Potter somehow). Had fudge, strawberries, wet walnuts, whipped cream and cherries and banana Per the young man behind the window: they will listen to customs and offer up the "non traditional flavors". UBe is one such: brought to their attention by a family from the ?Philippines. Says it's a purple yam from their home. To me, tasted like cookies and cream but then with an odd after taste that I didn't care for. (But with all the other flavors and toppings it wasn't bad) The butter beer was almost like butter pecan/caramel, and the raspberry was, well raspberry. The scoops of ice cream sit in a traditional sundae boat, atop the sliced banana, but the fudge and nuts and strawberries are also "below". The topping is the whipped cream and cherry This scenario sorta makes sense, but only because the boat/container isn't large enough to pour these toppings ON top I didn't mind it, but it was def a twist I shouldn't eat ice cream, and def not this much...but I did. Tried 3 flavors. The Vanilla is delicious, I accidentally ate my daughter's coconut ice cream. I don't really care for coconut, but it wasn't bad. My daughter wood have loved it. The butter pecan could have used a little more pecans. Overall I would take the grand children there. read more

I've got to say that I'm a fan of this ice cream place. I rarely come to Edgewood, but made the drive because the ice cream flights lured me in. Gone are the days of having to choose 1 or 2 flavors, now I can eat 6! It is a very cute little ice cream shop. The staff was very nice and the place was clean. The ube ice cream was really good, but my favorite was the line sorbet. I also enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake and the butter pecan. The consistency of this is cream is a bonus because it doesn't melt too soon and it is just what you need on a warm day. I wasn't a big fan of the toasted coconut, but I love they there was a dairy free flavor available. At the time they weren't taking window orders so we did go inside, but that's not a problem. I enjoyed that my flight scoops were a good size because I was able to taste and enjoy, I was so full after eating it. I'm not sure how the affogato was because I didn't taste it, but I heard it was just ok from my s.o. who got it. It may have been the type of coffee used. Friday, 11 November 2022: This place had bad customer service. I had the feeling the staff didn't want to be there. One person starred at her smart phone even when she used the cash register. She didn't wash her hand between working the register and serving customers. The banana split was served with a banana that had more brown spots than yellow. Food Lion is only a three minute walk away to buy fresh bananas. I asked for a fresher banana, but was told this was the only banana we have'. The other person making the banana split was extremely slow. They gave me two tops, so when i placed the box in my car I almost had ice cream all over my seat. This is the first and last time this ice cream place will see me. No place to sit down inside nor outside. This ice cream was too sweet for me. Went to Edgewood Creamery last night with my son, our friends and their little minions.... must say that not only was the staff super nice (even got to meet one of the owners), and the the outside picnic tables were clean (which was great because we stayed to enjoy our summer treat). But the best part...... our friends had been there before so they knew what they wanted, However, it was our first time, so My son and I opted to share a Flight (your choice of 6 scoops for only $6, if comes with whipped cream and cherries plus the option of chocolate syrup - we opted out of the syrup we wanted to taste out flavors pure lol) We had... strawberry, espresso, banana pudding, mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, and birthday cake (and My friend gave me a taste of her salted caramel, which pairs so well with the espresso, My son and I got a container of espresso mixed with salted caramel to bring back to my sister's)..... all the flavors were super creamy, and delicious..... there were only two downsides we had were 1 because it was hot out and it's real homemade ice cream, you have to eat fast or it will melt lol and 2 there were so many old school and new school flavors it was so hard to decide which flavors to get..... But none the less this place is legit. Uncommon flavors. Decently priced selections. And even a 'pick our next flavor' board. (Yep, you guessed it niether grape soda or chicken and waffles were up for election.) I got a coconut/banana pudding shake. It was magical. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Ice cream is made in house. If I had any complaints it would be if I ask for a milkshake loose don't make it like a Clint Eastwood movie with a orangutan. Owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating, he takes requests for flavors from anyone and they try all kinds of crazy flavors! Blueberry, Banana pudding, Horchata cinnamon... anything! The ice cream is all made in-house and served up fresh. The creamery operates out of what used to be an auto mechanic shop, so once they add seating to what used to be the garages, this'll be the new summer spot for sure. Great place for kids soccer teams to celebrate or maybe even birthdays. Location is convenient. Portions are generous and ice cream is delicious. 5 stars because I can't give 6. read more
