From the moment I spoke with Chris, I knew he was going to be the floral designer for my daughter's wedding. He returned calls, answered emails, and never left me feeling that he was in it for only my money. Out of 5 other vendors that I reached out to, Chris was the only one that checked off all of the boxes. Every other vendor I spoke with mentioned their minimum price, right off the bat, not Chris, he wanted to know what the vibe was, what flower we liked, and what we thought we wanted to spend. I thought he and his team would do great work, but he did so much more - he made the venue look magical. As my daughter and my new son-in-law knelt at the altar, I could not help but notice how beautiful the flowers he provided in the chapel were. When we made it back to the venue, I was blown away - Chris and his team made the venue look like it was straight out of a fairytale book. It is now 5 days after the wedding, and I have several arrangements that I took home, and they still look perfect. The flowers still look fresh enough to use for another wedding. They are so perfect looking, that I actually pulled some of the petals apart, just to make sure they were real - they are! Hands down, best florist you could possibly choose.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Achelle! From the very beginning, she was so responsive,…read moreattentive, and incredibly easy to work with. I was honestly all over the place with what I envisioned for our wedding, and she was so patient in listening to all of my ideas, helping me narrow everything down, and bringing it all together. She truly went above and beyond. We had a set budget, so I honestly wasn't imagining anything extraordinary -- but WOW, did she deliver extraordinary. When I walked into the tent for the first time, my jaw literally dropped. Everything was so beautiful and somehow even better than what I had envisioned. Achelle was also so on top of the timeline and just knew exactly what needed to be done. I especially appreciated her helping set up all of our candles. I didn't give her much direction with that, but she just knew what to do and made everything look so beautiful. The little details, like adding the moss to the florals, made such a difference and felt so "us." And OMG, the ceremony urns were absolutely to die for! I am so grateful for all of the thought, creativity, and care she put into our wedding. She took my scattered ideas and turned them into something so incredibly beautiful. I truly could not recommend Achelle more!!

I narrowed a few shops down by distance and came across Floral Designs by LiRog. To be honest, the name a bit on the unique side, they appeared to be open so I rolled the dice and called to ask if they had white roses in stock. Thankfully the person who answered confirmed they did and asked some qualifying questions that helped me better understand what to look for (and ask for in the future). I was so grateful for how genuine the conversation went and I decided right then and there I was going straight there and buying the flowers from LiRog. When I arrived and met Kaelin, I knew I had made the right decision! Kaelin continued to educate me (in a non-judgmental way) on my floral purchase and I truly felt like she cared about the flowers themselves and my experience. I left thrilled with the service, the quality of the roses, and more importantly, my new florist of choice!

Let me say that I do understand it was the day before Mother's Day but there was only 2 other customers in the store when I was there. An employee came over and asked if we had been helped yet. We told her "no, we are waiting for assistance " she went to the back and came out with another woman who asked what we needed. I told her we were there to order a bridal bouquet. The second woman told me " I don't have anyone who can talk to you, you will have to come back another day". I have never felt so unvalued as a customer from a business as I did that day. No one could take 10 minutes to ask what exactly I needed. (I know it was 10 minutes because I timed the visit to a different florist who took the time to speak to me and it took 10 minutes to choose the flowers I liked and to pay her for them.) So my experience at Gilmore's was not good in any way that day. I specifically chose Gilmore's because I want to support local businesses as much as I can, but it seemed like while they were important to me, my business was not important enough to take a few minutes to talk to me.
