Brought my MacBook in since it wasn't turning on, they were able to tell me what was wrong instantly and were very very helpful! My first school week back, I was worried I wouldn't have a working computer- they fixed it by the next day and now works great! Thank you! read more

Excellent service! Five stars well deserved. My laptop needed a new battery and I was told by 2 other places (Apple store was one of them) that it could take a week to get it done. Edge computer had it replaced the next day for a fraction of what a new MacBook would have cost me. They were knowledgable, friendly, professional. Thank you so much. read more

Sam is amazing in every way! My Samsung laptop got all dinged up and the screen was coming out of its bevel. The corners of the lid were bent way out of shape and I wasn't sure anyone could fix it. This screen in particular is a touchscreen so it's hard enough to find people who can work on those without messing them up and even harder to find people who charge a decent price. I found Sam through a fun game of telephone tag to get ahold of the only guy in town trusted with touchscreen laptops and I am so happy I found him! His quote was extremely fair and the final price was exactly what he quoted me. He kept me up to date with everything going on with my laptop through every phase of the fix and gave me full, detailed explanations. He even went above and beyond and cleaned my fans and ports from years of dust buildups AND he fixed my buggy touchpad! My laptop looks brand new, especially compared to how it looked beforehand. I highly recommend this shop for all your computer repair needs and if I ever need a fix again I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back! Thank you Edge!! You guys rock! read more

Go here for data recovery! I was quoted close to $2,000 at datatech when my hard drive randomly crashed and I didn't have a recent backup. This was in Denver. My wife is from Fort Collins and a friend told us how honest Edge Computer was. I called them, and even though they couldn't provide me an exact quote, they gave me a range of pricing which was significantly cheaper. Turns out I was only charged $475-a massive saving over their competitor! They also explained the shenanigans that certain data recovery shops engage in-so I was more informed of what was happening. These guys are super honest and significantly cheaper. Great to see such a trustworthy company out there when there are many that rip off the customer! Great job guys! read more

Was traveling when my laptop screen broke, Sam was able to quickly get the parts needed and had my laptop back in working condition. Glad I was able to find him - excellent communication and work! read more

These guys are easy to work with, and they know what they're doing. Kaycee was quick and thorough. I highly recommend these guys.

I brought my laptop to this shop bc the charger wouldn't plug into the port. He fixed in in less than a minute... no charge. They were very helpful. I'll be back, and I highly recommend them. I chatted a while. They are knowledgeable and courteous! read more

Needless to say when I found out my only back up external hard drive was no longer working (with years of pictures, work presentation etc.) I was deeply concerned and had a very sick feeling in my gut! Hoping I could find a timely and fairly inexpensive solution I researched tons of options online. I discovered most of the solutions I found had a minimum of a $600 price tag (up to $1500 or more) attached to it to recover my data. In addition, many of those companies had very mixed reviews and a long turn around time with it having to be shipped to a central location. When I found Edge in Fort Collins (local to me) I gave Sam a call and immediately was encouraged as I felt he really knew what he was doing, cared about my issue, and gave me a calm assurance that he could provide an excellent outcome to my data dilemma. I wasn't disappointed. The turn around time was only a few days (and though he couldn't promise it up front) ended up only being $375. I would highly recommend the Edge team if you're experiencing this or another computer troubleshooting issue! read more

Sam and his lovely dog were friendly, easy to communicate with, and helped fix my MacBook after spilling a latte inside of it. Highly recommend Edge, don't recommend the latte spill. read more

WOW!! This place does awesome work. What I appreciate most, besides their diligent problem solving, is their honesty. They have earned my trust. I had a bewildering problem with a laptop screen that would inexplicably blink on & off. I brought it in & it took a few tries, but they kept at it until it was fixed. Sam was totally "up front" about what he was doing and took responsibility when the initial fix turned out to not be the solution. He responded immediately to my issues and worked until the problem was solved. You can't beat that kind of customer service! I highly recommend Edge Computer Repair. read more

My external hard drive died on me that had over 2000 of my wildlife photos. I was afraid I'd never see them again. I was referred to these guys and they did a fantastic job of recovering my photos and getting them on a new hard drive! The turn around was about 24 hours which was totally unexpected but much appreciated! I highly recommend them for any issues you're having! Besides the excellent service, there's a very cute shop dog who will come and greet you read more

Sam at Edge was seriously my angel after I fell victim to a remote access scam where all of my data was deleted... not actually my data -- my client's data. The whole process has been hell, but the silver lining has been Sam and Edge Computer repair. He was friendly on pricing and kept me updated daily while the data was recovered (giant sigh of relief) and the computer brought back into proper function. My only regret is that I didn't take the computer to Edge first. read more

These guys are incredibly quick with their work. I had stripped a couple screws in a few different laptops... aka VERY small screws. I had tried everything in my book to get these screws out but to no avail. The guys at Edge had them done in a day, and did a last one as a courtesy even. The kicker being, I needed these laptops to be as close to factory new as possible. Shipped them out today, couldn't even tell they had been worked on. Also - super cute puppy in there for the dog lover in you. read more

Without hesitation, I would recommend Sam and Edge as the best place to take your computer or hard drive in Fort Collins. Sam is literally amazing--I brought him my external hard drive after it crashed and he worked diligently to restore as much of the data as possible knowing that I was on a deadline to get some of the information on the drive. He was friendly and kept me updated throughout the process, answering all my questions (as amateur as they may have been). Absolute excellent work and fair prices. Don't mess with anywhere else--Edge can't be beat. read more

Sam saved the day again. This time he was able to fix another laptop that needed a new hard drive and LCD screen. He's 2 for 2!

A few weeks after Sam completed the first repair, I ran into issues logging into Windows. Thought maybe it was because I had cancelled another program installation midstream. Whatever it was, it severely impacted my Windows logon in essence blocking me from using it. Sam to the rescue again! Very pleased that I know him and his business. read more

Great option in Fort Collins for any computer issues. Just drop in anytime and they will help you figure out what you need. Honest and fair. Reasonable prices and quality work. read more

I took my computer in because it wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi. They helped me out quickly and said They would get back to me later in the day when it was fixed. I came in to pick up the computer and they had fixed it free of charge because it was a lose wire. They could have easily told me they had to do a lot more work and charged me the $100 I was quoted. This business is very honest in an industry that sadly isn't. Thank you guys! read more

We took our iMac in for data recovery and then upgrades to the hard drive and RAM. Everything was done perfectly and on time. What a relief! Edge Computer Repair is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and seems really committed to doing it right the first time. We can recommend them without hesitation. read more

Sam's some sort of soldering sorcerer. He's the only person we (at the company I work for) trust to repair the industrial, proprietary motherboards used in our equipment. We've brought him quite a few over the years, and he's never failed to repair one. read more

I've taken my laptop to them a few times, each time for a different issue. The most recent time, the issue was caused by a solder joint failure they had fixed about six months ago. They stood by their work and repaired it with no cost to me. They are always fast and do quality work. read more

My MacBook's hard drive failed the weekend before finals with all of my notes and study materials on it. These guys are really great! They have bailed me out of two bad situations. One with a laptop that crashed and had some important files on it. Another time with an external hard drive that failed. In the case of the external hard drive, they made a full recovery of pictures and family memories. Edge is fairly priced and they are very straightforward with you. Really happy with their service and results read more

Edge computer repair and data recovery is hands down THE best place to go to to get your computer fixed or data recovered in Fort Collins. I had water spilled on my MacBook Pro and my computer was not turning on. I went to 4 other computer repair places in Fort Collins in attempt to retrieve the data from my hard drive. One of the places was Best Buy Geek Squad where I was told that my "hard drive wasn't responding." I left in tears and decided to try edge computer repair as a last resort. Within five minutes, Sam had my hard drive running, told me what to do to retrieve my data and also provided me with an external hard drive that he personally synced to my Mac. He was EXTREMELY knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. 10/10 recommend! read more

The guys at EDGE are the best!! I was on deadline with a client's project and my power button, of all things, fell apart on my PC. I had no way to turn on my computer! I called another service company, but they couldn't fix it, so they recommended EDGE. The guys at EDGE carefully re-soldered my power button and quickly had me back in business in a matter of minutes. EDGE is the computer repair shop the OTHER computer repair shops recommend! read more

I took my laptop here after the hard drive crashed. But first, I took it to Best Buy. Best Buy told me that a new hard drive could not be installed in the computer and that I would need to purchase a new computer. The cloud back up that I was using did not back up all of the information that I needed. Best Buy told me that the data recovery from the old drive would take weeks to accomplish and it would cost an astronomical amount. Since I am self-employed, I use this computer daily for work and could not wait weeks to recover the remaining data. I found the Edge on Yelp and they were able to look at my computer that day. Not only were they able to fix the computer and replace the hard drive with a new one, they also recovered all of my data in just 2 days (and at a fraction of the cost)! They were amazing! read more
