I believe good things come to those who wait, so wait I did. As promised, Liz called this afternoon. They came out and ended up needing to drill our lock because of the new safety features it had. We also wanted our locks rekeyed to all match, and they were so patient as I went hunting for all of the sets. Rob also made sure all of the locks and door jams aligned. They explained everything and went above and beyond to take care of us, including getting rained on! I hope we don't ever need to be let in again, BUT if we do they will be the first and only people we call!

Have an older Lexus needing a 'chipped' key and rather than 'well, we'll take a look at it' it was a 'sure, no problem' response. I never used the key because I have push to start so it wasn't an issue until recently when I dropped my fob and it fell apart. I initially called AutoNation and was told that since I didn't have the key, I would have to purchase 2 key fobs at the price of over $600.00 and that didn't include cutting or reprogramming. I was told that I could purchase a key fob on Amazon for around $40 and have the key cut and the fob reprogrammed. So, I decided to go that route. The first place I called said they had the key fob I needed for my car and would charge me $130 and could come out the next day to complete the job. They texted me the next morning and asked if I still needed their services and I told them I did. He then proceeded to say the person I spoke to yesterday had quoted me the wrong price and that it would Actually be $180.00. He said since I was initially quoted the lower price they would honor it. When the guy arrived he took my key fob to his van and came back and said he didn't have it after telling me the day before he did. He said he would have to order it and would have it the next day and it would be, you guessed it, $180.00! How convenient. So, I told him I wouldn't need his services. A friend told me about Waco Lock & Key, I called and made an appointment. My son took my car to them because I had to work. They were very professional and friendly. My son left with not only 1 key fob but 2 (they fixed my old one) for the Exact price they quoted and it was lower than Both of the initial quotes. The next day I called them because I was trying to use the key (that I had Never used before) and I was having trouble getting the door unlocked. They said that they made sure the key and fob were working and I could bring it to them after work and they would recheck it. They also sent me a video on how to unlock my car and it turns out I was doing it incorrectly and it did indeed work. I Highly recommend this company, they are very polite, professional and go above and beyond to satisfy their customers needs.

When the technician left my car it was with a universal fob and NO key insert. The FOB was NOT…read moreconfigured to auto start the car. The technician said he would return to finish the job but did not. When I called for support the manager referred me to a separate locksmith to make the corrections. Upon arrival he determined the original tech had NOT left a key blank for him to cut. I had to settle for external keys that did NOT fit in the fob casing. The fob had to be re configured to work properly. I paid a handsome amount of money for an incomplete job and poor customer service. My personal opinion is that I will NOT be a repeat customer and will discourage others from using this service.
