There's hip relaxing music in the lobby and spa nature sounds once you're in the rooms getting your lash services. Christine was super professional, fun to talk to, and I felt very relaxed and confident. I went here to get a lash lift as I was looking for something low maintenance for this season, and I really enjoyed my experience. The salon bed is comfortable, and you have your eyes closed for most of the process so you can even nap if you want. She took a lot of care to adjust the eye pads and explain the process throughout. The salon bed space was immaculately clean. As for parking, there is validated parking in the Skyhouse Midtown parking garage that's connected to the building, so just make sure to ask about that at the end of your appointment! If the original quote was only for nails, that should have been clearly stated when I asked for both. Nothing I received during the appointment was outside of what I had already discussed beforehand. The issue is not that the price increased -- it's that I was not informed or given an updated total before the service continued. Being told a service would be "around $100" and then being presented with a $300 total at checkout is a major gap in communication. That should have been clarified before proceeding, not after everything was already done. On top of this, I was met with a very condescending attitude being asked if I had read our messages. Childish.
