It's important to know the Brand/Company that makes the product, and I 'd rather buy FOOD that come made by trustworthy company, than buying food from companies with no websites, or food repackaged under the store name ORII, because I cannot know who makes the product. Vegefarm is a big, trustworthy company, with a great variety of products. Unfortunately the store now just have a few items from Vegefarm

They carry a wide array of simulated meats (serious, there's every kind you can imagine) as well as sauces, spices, dried vegetables, and myriad other ingredients. The simulated meats are all stored in giant deep freezers, making it an interesting but fun experience to pop open the lid of each one and see what kind of delicious ingredients are inside. Since I first discovered this place, I've been back often and have come to appreciate some great staples such as their buffalo wings which are super tasty and the salty chicken strips which very closely resemble the ones from Padmanadi. I always find some great rotating things as well such as sticky rice, vegetarian bao, dumplings and a whole lot of random meat substitutes. I haven't bought their veggie ham or bacon yet but there are tons of things to try for a bigger feast as well. Over time, they have added a couple new coolers which stock more vegan cheeses and some familiar brands such as Field Roast and Daiya. Vegetarians and Vegans in Edmonton are certainly lucky to have a vegetarian grocer and the wide array of options available at Orii will surely fire up your culinary creativity. As a quick note, they recently announced a move to the Oliver area on 114 street so keep an eye on their website for more info on the move!

Prettiest Present - Moon jewellery! Love it! You look up the moon phase on a special date and buy the jewellery to commemorate that date.

The store doesn't have an exact closing date but it won't be very long. Currently seasonal items are 60-70% off (some seriously cute Xmas décor and ornaments) and the remainder of the store is 20-30% off. They have really cute jewellery and unique items for special gifts. I really like their line of moon necklaces/bracelets where you pick the phase of the moon on a special date (birth, death, wedding, etc.) and can wear it as jewellery. I also like their sparkly Swarovski crystal bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Some stuff here for sure can be found elsewhere or online for less but that's not the point of a boutique store. It's getting to go somewhere and browse through various collections to find the perfect gift for someone special. If you're a fan of s'well bottles, they still have a fairly good collection of unique ones and at 20% off you're paying a fair price for the designer s'wells. (Note you can get plain jane ones at Costco for $30) but the ones here are GORGEOUS and make me smile. They're collection of wrapping papers and tissues is extensive and are sure to be able to wrap your gift to fit any occasion or theme. Seriously gonna miss the Prettiest Present!

Well I just adore this store!…read more Often you walk into gift shops, and yes, everything is lovely but you just don't really see anything practical; or everything is really expensive, or really niche. But at the Prettiest Present they really have a great variety of really useful gifts! From presents for those pooch peeps, to culinary and kitchen gadgets - as well as neat necessities. Then there are the baby gifts, the seasonal decor for your own abode, a wall of tempting teas and some really unique jewelry. And then the pies de resistance... they have the most fabulous collection of gift bags, gift boxes and paper so that when you find that perfect present you can also wrap it up without having to go to another store! Love it!! Although, I do not remember seeing ribbon or cards, I could be wrong, or maybe that's just asking for the moon. Pro Tip: Make sure to go into the basement! Often you go into a store like this and assume that down the steps is just a small smattering of a few other things. But in this case the basement is the majority of the shop. It is at least 3x larger then the upstairs portion. Happy shopping!

I went to the Helm down the road and they were 1000% more friendly and had what I needed and more and even said they would text me when they received the stock of the items I wanted that they did not have.

This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with clearance or sale trousers here, either, as one time I purchased a pair of trousers that were eligible to be hemmed at no extra charge, and the sales associate serving me completely failed to mention that to me at all and I paid to have them hemmed elsewhere. A suggestion to Henry Singer, if I may: just make the hemming of trousers complementary no matter the price, sale or no sale. What you do now seems both selective and cheap, making your company appear to be tight-fisted . That may not be your intention, but that's how it looks in my eyes.

I would certainly recommend the store to anyone looking for a great deal.

The store is Nothing fancy just like the name says they are a Surplus Warehouse . Every item in there is Overstock , sometimes you will see display models or even damaged boxes. Even thou it is a warehouse Everything is clean and organized but they have so much product that it does take a long time to browse around. I think they only have 1 of each item in stock . I usually view their items on kijiji before I go there and you will find some amazing deals and the best part is that everything already includes the Tax. YOu can easily price compare all their products online because everything is current and all brand names. I bought my Kids a 12V ride on Quad for $189 and the same one at my local wally world was $ 299 plus tax. I even got a full 1 year warranty . My most recent purchase there was a Leather Sofa Set since my cats had destroyed our other one. They sold the exact same set at costco for $3400 + tax and I bought it Brand New from them for $1700, free delivery and no Tax. What more can you ask for. I have seen many an array of product at this place like baby furniture, bedding , luggage , lots of toys, car accessories, Tv's, Lots of furniture lamps and lights etc..... anything and everything. This place is quite the Jem if you have kids or just want a great deal and you want to save lots of money I would recommend you check them out. One thing to note is that they have strange business hours. They are only open 4 days a week from 12 to 6 and they a little hard to find as you are not expecting to see a store in an industrial area like that. If you are familiar with architectural clearing house they are right next door.
