It's easy to miss except the Starbucks sign brought us in. The desserts in the lobby are enough to make your jaw drop. There are homemade cakes, cookies, and muffins. Delicious. When we walked into the lobby we were greeted and given a tour of the restaurant. They ambience is incredible. We were here for the Saturday brunch and the quiche with muffins was delicious. The kids had the vintage breakfast and ate it up. This place is incredible and we will definitely eat here again. read more

When I travel alone I like to take myself out to a nice dinner the last night at some place local and the owners of my AirBNB suggested Eden. Everything started great. Easy to make a reservation, friendly service when I arrived. I was hiking in the national park all day so I asked for the latest reservation so that I knew I could make it in time. When I sat, I explained to my waiter that I would take a moment with the menu and then plan out the courses with a wine pairing. That I wouldn't be in a rush because I wanted to enjoy each course and so when it appeared that I was nearing the end he could put in the order for the next course. His response, "well you know the kitchen closes in six minutes." Umm. No I didn't know this and why would a reservation be made for me if the kitchen is closing so soon?? No aperol available at the bar so I had a Negroni. It was great. First course Mediterranean bake and Prosecco. The goat cheese on the appetizer was perfect with the vegetables and this dish alone got the restaurant two stars. Salad and Pinot Grigio was fine. The filet which I ordered medium was medium rare at best, the shrimp were well done rubbery. I'll do a medium rare steak and not complain, but it just wasn't what I asked for. In listening to the other tables I knew that there were several options for dessert, one of which wasn't on the cart. My waiter asked me what I would like and I asked what my options were, and he told me I could choose from two different cheeses cakes or a carrot cake. What about the one not on the cart?? That one wasn't available to me. ?! So I chose the carrot cake. Which I asked for with espresso. No espresso. Cafe au lait? What's that? Flat white? Excuse me? Can I just get a coffee with steamed milk? The cake. The dense sugar brick. It just upset me more than anything. It wasn't good, and the carrot decorations were smeared and there were finger prints in the cake. It just solidified my review. Disappointing all around. We are always looking for new places for Sunday brunch in downtown Hot Springs. I'm happy to have discovered Eden which is located inside of Hotel Hale. The boutique Hotel is a repurposed & renovated Bath house and is gorgeous and nostalgic on the inside. The other reviews about the slow service made me nervous but our experience was delightful and our server was very friendly. She recommended the Eggs Benedict and OMG it was ahhhhmazing. The Hollandaise sauce is made from scratch! The living plant wall gave an organic and serene feel to the ambience. We will definitely be back for brunch and to try dinner! read more

I have no idea why this place isn't rated higher. After a long day of driving I stopped by Eden for what I hoped was a decent meal before crashing at a nearby hotel. Eden met and exceeded my expectations. The meal started with a complimentary bread basket - the bread was a high quality focaccia and absolutely delicious. I then had the sea bass entree which absolutely knocked my socks off. I'm a huge foodie and didn't have super high expectations - their sea bass with mushroom risotto and puréed carrots was honestly the best meal I've had in months. I struggle with a weak/small appetite and I ate the entire (generous) portion the dish was *that* good. I also saw some other entrees come out and I can confirm that all the portions are more than enough for the average adult: Cocktails were great, service was attentive, and the staff were in general super friendly and welcoming. My waitress even showed myself and some other guests the historic "steam cave" located adjacent to the dining room. How cool! I rarely post on Yelp (mainly because I hate posting negative nancy reviews) but this place more than earned a five star review. Our experience was great! 18th Anniversary weekend and wish we'd known about the rooms! Had brunch here on our last day, great food and service. Although the courtyard setting was nice and the server was very sweet, it couldn't make up for the absolute lack of ambition in the kitchen. My friends, I paid $30 for a plate of buttered noodles with a bit of lemon squeezed on top, and deep fried seitan on top. No salad. No vegetables. That was it! It was a totally wasted calorie meal that was completely uninspired. I am more than happy to pay good money for good food, but this was one of the biggest let downs ever. I appreciate that they tried to do vegetarian fare, but why bother when this is the outcome? Please Hale Hotel, if you are reading this, do better. Right now, you are nothing more than grifters preying on tourists. Honestly, what are these other reviewers thinking? They must give Olive Garden a 12/10. read more

I was so excited about this place. We went in and made dinner reservations because the menu looked awesome! We ended up staying for drinks since happy hour was about to start. The service was sooooooo SLOW!!!! Like painfully slow. It took 20 minutes for our first round of drinks. And just as long for our second round. The server literally kept forgetting about us. We ended up making a dinner reservation elsewhere because if we were the only table in the dining room, and had such terrible service, I can't imagine when the dining rooms is full. read more

On my first trip to Hot Springs, I really wanted to try this place for brunch. After waiting for about 25 minutes and the hostess forgetting what party we were, we were seated in the back of the restaurant. It's cute inside with some greenery on the wall, but strangely dark in the side room for brunch. The brunch and drink menu looked fabulous and was decently priced. Unfortunately, we didn't see a server or anyone from the restaurant for over 15 minutes. It's like we were invisible. Not even a water! After a 40 minutes plus wait, we were just too hungry and exasperated to stick around and we walked out. The staff seemed disorganized and either oblivious or uncaring. One of the servers said to another table, "Oh, I forgot all about you guys and didn't come back." Yikes. read more

It's in the back of a hotel and really pretty inside. We went for brunch, every entree is $16 but not all entrees are the same size/ as much food as the other. The staff was super friendly but the food was alright, I got the Southwestern Chicken salad and it's something I could have made at home. My friend got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was a fried chicken thigh which was a bit dry and the waffle was crunchy. We did have a birthday and our sweet waiter brought out a mini apple pie from the bakery, which tasted amazing. The bakery is wonderful! read more

We were in Hot Springs for a few days and unfortunately stumbled upon Eden our last day. I say unfortunately because we went there for brunch and enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner - and kicked ourselves that we didn't find it earlier in the trip. The food was good, the atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Tucked away in the Hale Bathhouse Hotel it is a great place to sit, relax and have a very nice meal. For brunch, we had the spinach/kale quiche and chicken salad - both excellent - and our daughter loved her waffles, especially after our awesome waitress - who asked us first - whether she might also like some whipped cream to go with it. And we had some nice cocktails, but as good as out drinks were I wish I was 8 again so I could love their homemade Cream Soda as much as my daughter did. It is dangerously good. We went back for dinner that night and had a bunch of delicious appetizers - gazpacho, caprese salad, tuna wantons and the "small" charcuterie board which was the biggest and best I've had in years. The cocktail list is expanded at night and the drinks were very good and very reasonably priced. I also can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was super nice and very helpful. And to top it off, I didn't know until today that the owner/manager of the restaurant - who, along with his wife, were incredibly nice and who patiently answered my endless questions about the Hale Hotel and Bathhouse Row - was also the mayor of Hot Springs. read more

The mayor, who owns the place, ruined everything. We thought we were going to a nice restaurant. It turned out to have great service and good food, but he ruined our entire evening. There was a misunderstanding about access to a place for which we profusely apologized for, but he was rude and completely ignorant about a serious issue of which we will be following up with city council. Completely ruined our visit of the Hot Springs National Park and tainted our view of Arkansas. However, The people around us who witnessed this incredibly disrespectful event, who were staff and patrons alike, encouraged us to write this review. That goes to say, why would anyone want Pat McCabe to be the mayor of their town? Serious considerations need to be made about this man. read more

Went here for brunch. 20 minute wait, no problem, seated after 25 minutes. Front of house could not find seating wait list, was not sure how many tables she had, and generally ran around confused. Once we were finally seated we waited 15 minutes for ANYONE to acknowledge our presence. Looked at the 'maitre d' numerous times with no response. Overall this establishment was unorganized and unable to tend to their guests. Very disappointing as the eggs sardou sounded fabulous. read more

First time to eat at this "new" restaurant in the renovated Hale bath house. Great waiter, very friendly. Had cocktails that were so..so.. margarita and martini. Skipped appetizers. Fresh bread brought to table was very soft and relishes with butter. Husband got the Hale burger. It needed some seasoning, otherwise big thick burger on toasted brioche bun (underwhelming). Steak fries were really really good, seasoned perfectly!! I had the grilled pork with apple chutney, butternut squash and couscous pearls. Again pork under seasoned, couscous was mostly dry. The apple chutney was excellent! Thank goodness it was on the plate, otherwise wise 2 stars. May come back just for the cocktails. read more

They discriminate against those with chronic diseases. My friend has type 1 diabetes and they refused to remove a sugary drink off her bill which the waitress took away from her because she would get sick drinking it. So unprofessional, they don't know what it's like being a diabetic. read more

This Restaurant is located in a old historic bathhouse and the food coming out of the kitchen is something you would find in a big city. The attention to detail is spot on.
