What's so great about her? Aside from her fabulous no-nonsense but loving attitude, served up in a thick Boston accent, the moderate prices are almost unheard of for a hair salon of this quality. Most importantly, though, Unique is a magician with hair. With one look at your hair, whether thin, thick, short, long, frizzy, or limp, Unique sees the perfect cut and, with a few well-placed snips, has you out of there looking perfect in no time at all. Every time. That's something I've never been able to say for another hair salon, and I'll keep saving my haircuts for my visits to Maine until I can.

Dolly sat down to talk with me about what I was looking for. I even showed her pictures of what my former stylist had done. I've never had a stylist sit down and want to know what I was looking for. Let's talk about the fabulous experience at the shampoo bowl. Oh. My. So relaxing. The entire salon is relaxing. The music. The plants. Anyway, back to the hair. I loved watching Dolly do her craft. It wasn't the most relaxing massage but he worked very hard, and i felt so much better. I have continued the massages every few months, and still don't have pain. The spa is very clean and easy to book a treatment online. My partner loves getting his hair cut here too. The prices are reasonable and you can always find parking and get an appt within a week or so.
