my regular hairstylist moved out of town so I was in search of someone new. I'm not high maintenance but have thick, short hair. Not everyone can cut it, plus do a good color! I booked an appointment for a cut and color online, got a call saying it was available. When I arr Paul had me down as a cut only. He worked it out with his next client and made room for me. He took the time to figure out a color and cut, made plans of what we can do next visit (yes, I already booked again!). He was friendly, honest and willing to make a plan. I can't wait to go back. I love going to Apollo so much. Teri is an amazing nail specialist, but she has become a dear friend. She takes a personal interest and shows great care for her clients without prying, just being a sincere listener, because often people need more than just physical care. I have been going to Apollo for several years. Besides the nail care, my massages there have been excellent and have been an aid to my wellbeing as I battle metastatic breast cancer. I had a great experience. Paul was Great! He actually listened to what I wanted and asked questions as he did his magic. As I left the salon a woman Holland out her window..Your Hair is Beautiful! I've had other people do my hair and they basically did what they wanted..and I left there upset. But Paul was one who actually cares about his clients needs and wants. I love the welcoming and lovely decor, including a sense of peace and calm at Apollo but most of all, my hairdresser, Kristy, has done a great job with my hair. She spent extra time when I first went in asking questions and running her fingers through my hair. When she gave me an opinion about style and length change, she knew what she was doing as she had really listened to what I wanted and didn't want, as well as understanding what my hair could do. My whole experience was phenomenal - I was gifted an hour massage for Mother's Day that I had to reschedule not once but twice due to illness. Staff was very understanding and kind with these changes. I was making the 3rd appointment no matter what, even though it meant dragging my 6 year old with me. She was given a place to sit that allowed her to be near me but still gave me privacy. The massage was incredibly well done and Jason was amazing! I loved this place. It's so beautiful. The reception area and the receptionist are lovely. The stylist for my granddaughter was Kate. My granddaughter wanted highlights. I was fortunate with timing and lucked out with a cancelation spot for the day after I called to inquire of openings for a massage. I had a person named Jacob who listened to my requests and responded to the difficult areas of pain . The only sad part was my massage was only for 60 minutes and not 90 !
