I just moved to the area. I called to see if I could get an appointment with Dolly. She could not…read morehave been nicer. I went in for my appointment this afternoon. Dolly sat down to talk with me about what I was looking for. I even showed her pictures of what my former stylist had done. I've never had a stylist sit down and want to know what I was looking for. Let's talk about the fabulous experience at the shampoo bowl. Oh. My. So relaxing. The entire salon is relaxing. The music. The plants. Anyway, back to the hair. I loved watching Dolly do her craft. It was true artistry. My hair looks and feels absolutely incredible! I am so glad I found Dolly. I'm so thankful she had a spot for me. Give her a call. You won't be disappointed in this zen experience at the salon.

My friend selected Mahogany as the salon where she and I would get our hair done for her wedding…read more I've only had my hair "done" once-- for my own wedding-- and while this wasn't my wedding, I still didn't want to look like a 80s West Virginia prom queen and I was going here site unseen. The outside of the salon was completely nondescript. I held my breath, waiting for sketchiness. The inside, however, was really nicely decorated, not at all scary-- in fact the total opposite. And then, Bonnie saved us! She was awesome. Calm, friendly, professional, all the while working quickly and making us both look gorgeous. No 80s hair anywhere! Our hair was modern, classic, feminine, and subtly sexy, without being overboard all at the same time. My friend looked AMAZING as a bride, just gorgeous and it stayed all night. Highly recommend this salon-- just paint the outside to match the inside and people will come flooding in.

She is at giving me a cut and color that makes me feel fabulous every time. I often come with a slight idea of what I want to do and she helps me come up with a vision of what I actually want. I also have an absolute blast hanging out with her while she cuts balmy hair. So many laughs!!!!

Do not go to Yvonne! This lady messed up my LONG THICK hair so badly! I asked for layers and my…read morehair was already in layers, I just wanted the dead ends off. She sat me down in the chair didn't even brush my hair and just started chopping. I stopped her and asked her "are you not going to measure my layers" she took it as a joke and was laughing and said I don't know how they do it in Texas but if you know what your doing you don't need to measure it. She didn't even pry my hair in sections. She literally was just chopping away. My hair cut usually takes 45 minutes and Yvonne took 15 minutes. I have wavy/curly hair and normally they have to blow dry it straight after the cut to check if all the layers is even.... Nope not her.... She even told me does your patients question you when you treat them?? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! As u can see the two sides just have chinned blobs! She BUTCHERED my hair. And after the service she had the nerve to tell me it's ok you still have plenty of hair left. You can come back if you don't like it..... I have never been this livid with a hair cut. She shouldn't be allowed to hold scissors near anybodys hair. I posted more than one photo that won't post on Yelp so please look at more pics on the google review

For this reason I could have used more care, not less. It was a slapdash, careless cut. I would have done just as well going to a barber. I thought I might be able to make sense of it after washing today but no luck. I will say I had one other haircut with a different stylist a few months earlier and it was totally fine but I won't go back.
