My wife and I were searching for a dog trainer form our 4 year old Frenchie rescue named Benny…read more Benny is awesome on walks but does not like people he doesn't know when we have them over to the house. What we loved about Wag Time and Don (owner and trainer) is that he does not use treats or shock. He employs voice and leash control. In reality Don trains YOU how to train! Honestly I was a skeptic! BUT we saw IMMEDIATE improvement during the very first lesson!! We have had 6 lessons so far, and Benny has come a long way! Life changing for us! Meet Don once and you will feel the same we do about him, his techniques, and his love for what he does!

Don has been training me to train my two dogs (an 8 year old golden doodle whom i have had since he…read morewas a puppy and a 2-3 year old rescue whom we recently adopted and who seems never to have been leashed before). They are being "worked " (trained) separately and, as of the past week (because it's getting dark so early and because it's now doable), they also get a long walk together. We have been at it about two months and have made significant progress (with lots of room for more!) Don't forget that it is up to the dog owner to do the work--neither Don nor the dogs can bear any responsibility for the lack of progress when the only way to improve the dogs' behavior is to be consistent in demanding (and enforcing) what you want. But Don is very patient with the dogs and me, so I can try to emulate his techniques with the dogs daily, between sessions.

She does adventure outings, personal training and walks. Our goal besides basics is to be able to have our dog be able to chill with us at a winery or the outdoor pub etc. She loves people too much and is a bit of a jumper. Already seeing improvements.

I went to the website and found it to be very clear, with credible and knowledgeable information about all things about dogs and behavior. Kaelin was very prompt getting back to me when I contacted her. She has very fair prices, and started right away. My German Shepherd mix. Annie, is 2 1/2 years old-he had never been socialized with other dogs so she had fear every time we were near another dog. And it made me insecure to walk her because quite frankly, I didn't know what to do. Kaelin was adept at explaining to me that Annie, just never learned social skills or cues from other dogs and so she's afraid. That made sense. She started walking her right away, and with only a few sessions, Annie can now walk near other dogs without reacting. What a gift! Did I mention Kaelin's also a dog trainer, LOL! I hope one day, Annie will be able to be socialized and have friends to play with. Kaelin assures me it's possible! So grateful! Shaun brown Orangevale, CA

Jackpawt's Happy Place…read more Since 2024, All Stage Canine Development has been like a second home for Jackpawt. Jackpawt, the Lucky Pup, on Amazon. https://a.co/d/02GVaEH8 Grooming day isn't just about looking handsome--it's one of Jackpawt's favorite adventures! Before Deena works her grooming magic, we always book him an hour of playtime, and sometimes another hour afterward because he just can't get enough. He absolutely loves the staff, zooming around with his furry friends like a little rocket. What makes All Stage so special isn't just the grooming, daycare, training, or pet store. It's the people. Every staff member is friendly, patient, gentle, and genuinely loves dogs. They treat every pup as if it were their own. They're one of those hidden gems tucked away in a busy strip mall, so if you blink, you might drive right past them. That's exactly why I wanted to share this post. Businesses like this deserve to be discovered, and fellow dog parents deserve to know there's a place where their pups will be loved, trained, groomed, cared for, and have the time of their lives. Thank you, Deena and the entire All Stage family, for making every visit such a wonderful experience for Jackpawt. We appreciate all that you do!

That's where a great dog sitter comes in. You want someone that you know your loved one will be safe with. You want someone who you can trust in your home. You want someone who your dog feels is a part of your family. Laureen of Wag A Doodle is that person. I found her because of the other yelp reviews and was shocked by her prices. She came for an orientation the same day I called. She talked through our concerns, went on a walk with our Shepherd mix who had issues pulling, and set up a schedule for the next week. By the next day, I had a copy of her insurance forms. It's been a month and we haven't looked back. Laureen is there when we need her at a moments notice. When my husband's car broke down, she was at our house to walk Grace. When we went on vacation, she took Grace to her home so our dog wouldn't feel left alone. She has helped train our old girl to stop pulling while on a walk and even sends videos and pictures of them playing! We love Laureen!

Roux lacked a lot of manners, was pushy when it came towards other dogs in play time, and lacked impulse control. He was your stereotypical, overly-friendly dog who was too smart for his own good. Working with Susan has been such a pleasure and my pup came back to me with better manners and impulse control. He also plays very well with others dogs and loves to play tug with them now! Yay! Walking him is a dream. I especially love working and training with him in public because he is a rockstar and does sooooo well now! We get so many compliments on our daily walks or when I take him out for lunch on how well-behaved he is... all thanks to Susan! I loved the transition lessons as we prepared for him to come back home. It helped a lot with teaching me what I needed to know to set my boy up for success once he came back. My relationship with Roux is stronger than ever now! So happy we chose Animal Minds and I would highly recommend Susan if you are having similar problems that Roux was having!

I wanted to work on getting better engagement with my two year old German Shepherd Kona and I wasn't sure what I was missing. After filling out the contact form, I got in contact with Terra and ended up scheduling our first session soon after. What I loved most about my session with Terra was that she met me where I was at in my training journey. She told me to show her what I typically do and then she offered me suggestions to adjust for better responses. When we attended Terra's group walk classes, the experience was similar. On one group walk, my dog was at his worst and Terra just kindly gave suggestions on what to adjust and he did amazing by the end. Terra is awesome and I appreciate her approach. She's exactly what I needed at this point in our journey.
