The column looks even better than it did before the delivery truck knocked it off its base! The repair was complicated because there was electrical conduit running thru the column. Sergio did a great job of clearing the old stone and mortar from around the base to expose the electrical conduit so the electrician could repair it. We will definitely hire Bobby Dew and his team again when we need future masonry work done. Highly recommend!

First, I'm a former builder myself and I've hired masonry sub contractors many times. Some are…read morebetter than others but Bobby (Award Winning Masonry) is the best I've worked with. He's a master of the classic stonework we all know at wineries in the North Bay. But I wanted something totally different, in many ways the opposite of how things are done here. I wanted Japanese style masonry work. Japan has a history of stonework dating back as early as Europe's. Methods are different, grout lines aren't filled all the way, rocks sometimes extend into a walking space to simulate nature. Could Bobby do it? Yes! And he loved the challenge and excelled at it. Bobby has a strong artistic side with a get it done approach, you won't be disappointed with his work.

Not only did I get a price that was more than fair (I got quotes from several other contractors), I was able to establish a working relationship with Robert that felt like real team work. I have not experienced this before, as I am a woman and in the past I have felt disregarded when it comes to construction projects. Not so with Robert! I felt respected, listened to, cared about and communicated with every step of the way. I felt so grateful for his consideration and his know how and also for his suggestions as to how to make the job more affordable. The sense of security his emotional sensitivity gave me, combined with his talents and know how made this the most satisfying construction job I've experienced yet. They are a small licensed crew and Lou and Alex are two of the kindest, most professional, creative guys that are not only wonderful at their craft- but they are solution oriented, fairly priced and well connected in the community with other professionals in the field. We recently purchased a home in Petaluma that needed some major TLC and Rantissi Construction made our visions come to life within budget and on the timeline we had created together. We weren't living locally at the time, but we were still fully part of the process via excellent communication through text and email and they shared many progress photos along the way! Once we arrived to town, the guys still had a bit of work to do and it was so easy and comfortable being in the house with them with our three very young children in tow and everything! I know finding a great crew to work with that meets your needs, can be an overwhelming process and so insanely expensive and our experience was the opposite! My husband and I cannot recommend Rantissi Construction enough. Below are a couple of before and after pictures. Lou Rantissi: 707-396-7472

When I met with Lou he came and accessed what work needed to be done, he would be installing doors on my laundry room and converting it in to a pantry aswell as installing a backsplash for countertops that had been installed. In addition to that I requested a custom closet, a repair on a pocket door in bathroom and replacement of weather stripping on bottom of front door. He said no problem to all of it, came back with an estimate within 2 days and was ready to get started the following week. He always stayed in good communication and cleaned up well after every job. Lou and his partner were non intrusive and always kind in their interactions. I would recommend them for a variety of jobs for they seem to be quite knowledgeable in many areas. During this renovation I have dealt with many contractors and I would gladly say I would do business with them again
