We have bought several cars off them a Mitsubishi Lancer in 2021 I was on my last payment I was so happy that almost I paid it off. Then the transmission went out. I had that car about 2 1/2 years. It was a lovely car. So I called up and asked would they take the lancer for a down payment The guy says we can do that so I go down there and find a beautiful red 2014 Chevrolet Impala LTZ $194,000 Miles Gorgeous car. So we do the paperwork says we do $800 for deposit I told him I have the Mitsubishi Lancer for the down payment. He said $800 for title and the Mitsubishi for the down payment. I agreed I just needed a good running car. The car was great for 2 weeks and then it wouldn't move one morning and the transmission was out. Luckily there was 30 days warranty. They fixed it under warranty. Took 2 weeks to get approval for the warranty but I was so thankful. I get it back and I felt like something was wrong but no engine lights. So I was like I will keep a close eye on it about two weeks later the same thing happens it won't go into gear and also is not under warranty anymore. I am upset at the situation. I had my lancer that was almost payed off now I have a dead car that I have allot of payments on. Parked dead outside. About a week passes and the car gets picked up. So I go there to drop off the key and see if possible to get into another car so the lot guy opens the gate and says what happened I said car broke and lady inside says car going to auction. He laughed and says that car is not going to Auction. I said it wasn't running and needs transmission fixed. The lady says it goes to auction in a couple days and we have to see wait and see what it does there and then we can get you into something else. We wait a week and as we pull in red impala is being sold to a customer. We ask about another car and he says we will need 3 times the normal deposit because of the Impala's not being paid off.

Let's truly set the record straight sir. Let's start with why wasn't Richard fired for talking to a…read morecustomer like that? I had to bring the jeep back to your establishment 4 times for the SAME leaking cooling system. Finally had to take it to Bails Jeep Chrysler in Jeffersonville where it did need to have the radiator replaced, which amazingly fixed the coolant leak that you "bent over backwards", just to keep lying to me and drop the ball FOUR times. For the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I can get a copy of the repair from them to substantiate this as proof of my claim if you're in any doubt. Was screwing me around or screwing me over to make the sale on an OBVIOUS LEMON really worth all the BS everyone involved had to go through? Even my wife was mad because she had to pick me up and drop me off TEN TIMES from a crappy mechanic that couldn't find a simple coolant leak at the radiator! I had to borrow a pressure tester to find the leak myself show you how to do your job. Also, no matter what I said or how I said it, because yes, I was mad. Regardless, Richard, (haha, fitting name) was completely wrong and out of line for physically charging at me, threatening to kick my ass, like he intended to rip my head off while screaming in my face. Classy customer service, considering I never threatened him or anyone else. Did he ever attend any anger management classes? I hope he gets the help he needs. Seemed like a nice guy, when he wasn't being a Richard. Bottom line, that was a horrible way to treat anyone and you'll never get another dime from me for another sale! Wish we'd have never walked through your door and never will again! Can't believe you're still in business!!!

I've been there a few times for service and then I bought my new car through them very recently…read more Each time I felt valued as a customer. The only complaint with the service department is I always schedule things online and they act like they don't like the way it lets people schedule at certain times, but they've never turned me away. I never felt like they pushed me into anything I didn't need. The car salesman was very thorough, but I also told him I was in a hurry and already wanted what I chose online and didn't want to test drive so he helped get me out quickly so I could make it to my hair appointment. I think the other car salesmen were a bit rude to him, but I won't hold that against the company. They were probably just mad that he ended up with such an easy sale. The finance guy did tell me all the info and asked me to purchase an additional warranty, but when I said no he didn't keep hounding me. It was dropped and we finished up. I now own two Hyundais and will continue using them for their services.

Brought my vehicle to Bachman Auto for a check engine light related to a camshaft sensor. They…read morereplaced the part, but then claimed a new oil pressure issue had appeared -- one that never existed before. They pushed hard to sell me an oil pump replacement, which felt more like a sales tactic than a genuine diagnosis. I sought a second opinion. That shop found metal shavings in the oil pan, indicating rod bearing damage -- a serious mechanical issue completely unrelated to an oil pump. When I raised this with Bachman, they claimed there was little to no metal present when they had my car. The odometer shows a 30-mile difference between the two shops, accounting for test drives before and after Bachman's repair. I contacted Hyundai corporate, who reached out to Bachman on my behalf. Bachman was unresponsive and dismissive. Their service manager, Ryan, could not explain how replacing an oil pump would address metal contamination in the engine -- because it wouldn't. When I reiterated this concern, I was told "I'm not going to do this song and dance with you", I was told they would call me back with a quote for the oil pump swap and I have not heard back since then. It has been at least 2 weeks since then. They have no interest in making this right or taking accountability for impacting my life severely. I made two reasonable offers: (1) pay any other Hyundai dealer the diagnostic fee if Bachman covered the engine replacement, and (2) cover costs beyond the original repair as long as work was done at cost with no markup. Bachman refused both, offering only to replace the oil pump at cost -- a fix that does nothing to address the actual damage. The timeline, the mileage, and the mechanical evidence all point to damage that occurred while my vehicle was in Bachman's care. Their refusal to take any accountability, combined with aggressive upselling and dismissive responses, reflects a serious failure in customer service and professional responsibility. I would strongly caution anyone from trusting this dealership with their vehicle.

When I got it back, the dashboard was scratched--badly. **Edit 1/12/26:** Be aware and use caution with your vehicle here. When I pointed out the damage, the service manager brushed it off, saying, "It's a 22‑year‑old car, what do you expect?" Age has nothing to do with it. If someone works slowly, carefully, and uses basic precautions like tape or a towel, the damage never happens. I've worked on show motorcycles -- you layer tape, you take precautions, you don't scratch anything. When I told him age wasn't the issue, he got pissed and **slammed my car door as hard as he could**. I yelled at him not to slam my door, and that's when he **got in my face yelling**, telling me to get in my car and leave. I got in my car, but I didn't leave -- I just sat there for a moment. He then came back to talk again. I opened my door, and he **leaned on my door while talking**. Anyone who's ever replaced door pins or hinges knows you don't lean on old doors. That alone shows they're not meticulous and don't treat customers' vehicles with care. The scratch on my dash is shaped like a "V"--clear as day. I wish I had someone recording the whole thing. And their "fix"? They rubbed some plastic shine/oil on it. That's not how you fix scratches. This isn't clear coat -- it needs to be professionally sanded, filled, and repaired. If the job had been done carefully in the first place, I wouldn't have a damaged dash over a simple recall airbag replacement. If you care about your vehicle, take photos before you hand it over. And if it's older, expect them to treat it like it's disposable.
