Mark and Yuri did an excellent job with an emergency remodel of our very large master bathroom last…read moresummer, after we discovered the shower pan had been leaking since its installation five years earlier (different contractor). Mark, the owner, responded promptly when I called to request an estimate. He was polite and informative when he came to assess the work needed, and he turned the estimate around within a very few days. We were so pleased by Mark's ability and willingness to not only do the tile work, but also to do the rather extensive work needed to replace some joists, framing and subflooring that had suffered water damage over the years the leak was undetected. It was more than he'd been able to see when he provided the estimate, and I suspect more than he really wanted to do! Fortunately, he had warned us that there might be extra costs and time involved once we were able to see the full extent of the damage under the floors. He built allowances for that into the contract, and we felt that the additional costs and time were more than reasonable. (He was incredibly fair and worked with us to save costs where he could--it really impressed us!) The tile work itself was done beautifully, and we have complete confidence that there will be no leaks in our future. Mark was a great communicator and was very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the process. He and Yuri cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day, arrived on time, and worked their guts out from the time they got here until the time they left every day. We recommend Elephant Tile wholeheartedly and without reservation, and they will be our tiler of choice for any future projects. If you're able to snag them for your project, consider yourself lucky!

We had Fairhaven Floors install flooring and stair carpeting in our home. The floor installation…read morewas mostly fine, the stair carpeting was chaotic, and in both cases there was unfinished work. The owner made several promises to fix the unfinished bits, while stating that it wasn't going to be possible to properly do so, but never did come back and complete the work. Three and a half years later, I'm having flooring done in another part of the house, and the flooring guy was quite easily able to address the issues with the carpet and floor installation that Fairhaven left unfinished. Yes, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. My mistake for paying before the job was 100% complete.

If you're looking to install or repair wood floors, I'd definitely recommend Fairhaven Floors…read more My situation was tricky. The initial bid was to remove the carpet and refinish the original wood floors while also installing new wood floors in the remaining living areas. Once they started the work, though, we found that the original floors had issues and there were several necessary support beams missing, all while I was coordinating a move from Seattle and trying to be out of storage and into the house by the end of May. Mike and his team bent over backwards to accommodate me - they fit me in around other jobs, worked on weekends, helped find someone to fix the beams on very short notice and met the original schedule - all at an affordable price. They were professional, did an excellent job of communicating where we were in the process and the floors are beautiful.

Overall, I'm really happy with my quartz countertops from Integrity Stonework. The quartz looks…read moregreat, it was cut well to the shape of my kitchen, and the seam between 2 countertop pieces is practically invisible. The process from enquiring to ordering was very straightforward and easy to engage with. I was able to go and view the quartz prior to them cutting it to shape. The only road bump we hit was with installation. For the most part it was a good installation job, but it turned out that one of my cabinets was a bit higher than the others, which wasn't visible with the old counters. The installation team pointed out to me that they had to put an additional piece of wood under the counter in that location, but they didn't point out that it then made that counter higher than the others, and I didn't see that when they showed me. I only noticed the height difference after the installers left. My feedback is that I would have liked the installers to have been more explicit about this height difference before they glued the quartz down. I was relying on Integrity Stonework to be the experts for this installation, so trusted that they would point items like this out. After the installation, I had to pay an additional company to come in and remove the countertop to adjust the cabinet before gluing the quartz down again as Integrity Stonework did not offer to come and fix it, despite my request to them to make good on this. To be fair, the installation team did point out a different issue with countertop leveling in a different part of the kitchen prior to gluing items down. I think the height differential was just an unfortunate hiccup as part of this journey, so be thorough and ask to check the countertops prior to anything being glued down!

They were a pleasure working with from selecting the stone in the office, measuring our kitchen, to installing. We had a sort of non-standard window shelf that we weren't sure how it would turn out, but they gave us a few options (with drawings, measurements, and schematics so we could see in detail) for the raised bay window. Installation was quick and easy. We're very happy we went with Integrity.
