We went through 2 trainers before being referred to Valor K9 Training, and one of the trainers wouldn't even get near Jet. We were at the point where we would have to try to re-home him, which didn't seem possible, or we would have to put him down--which was unthinkable. Ernie and the team at Valor K-9 Training evaluated Jet several times to come up with a plan for addressing Jet's reactivity. We were given tasks/homework to prepare him for a board and train. He spent a 3 week board and train, and we would come up once a week to train with Jet. I was amazed after the first week when I saw him sitting with Ernie! We were given instructions for bringing him home. We just had my parents over to my house, and for the first time, Jet was able to sit with us--outside of his crate, and he behaved like a perfect gentleman! I feel like we've gotten our lives back, and we have the tools to deal with Jet when he steps out of line! I am so grateful for their help!
