just now New I was interested in the Silverado 3500 dually For my business. I filled out the pre-qualification online and they started texting me. I asked if there was a full application online, so I knew what I needed to bring with me for down payment, they said they were running a special for Memorial Day weekend. Zero down and no payments for up to 90 days regardless of credit. So I drove an hour and a half up there yesterday in holiday traffic, to be told I needed to put 4000 down on that truck. I said what happened to zero down? They said not on that vehicle. But we have a lot of other vehicles that are zero down, I said OK what do you have? They said are you interested in a sedan or a minivan? Yes because I can haul 22,000 pounds with a car... This place is a scam. I do not recommend them. Don't waist your time. TLDR Take the extra 5-10 min drive and go to the one in Westmont or literally anywhere else. They are not upfront and if the car is cheaper here it's probably because there's something wrong with it. CHECK EVERYTHING before buying. They won't give you an Out The Door Price or even work with you to find you a deal. We went to test drive a 2024 RDX, sales staff greeted us pretty good, got in the car started driving and thank goodness I turn on the music and there was a loud popping coming from every speaker in the car. The sales person and trainee are speechless when I ask what that is. We finish the test drive and no word from either on what they would do to assure us to buy the car, not that there would have been anything they could say. Afterwards they try to push a more expensive, 2025 Base model with no discounts or anything to make up for waisting our time for going to see a car they clearly knew had issues, the speaker popping was just the tip of the iceberg btw. no manager came up to apologize or even try to explain or ANYTHING. No wonder the place was empty. Needless to say we did not buy anything there. About a day later a manager calls and asked why we did not get the car and I mentioned what happened. He offered no apology or anything. Just wanted to know if the other place gave us a "better deal" and hung up. Yea they gave us a better deal AND a car that's not broken. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I bought a car from this dealership last year and initially held off on leaving a review, but after my experience, I feel it's necessary. From the moment my family and I walked in, we were completely ignored--no greeting, no acknowledgment. We had to approach the receptionist ourselves, and even after informing him we had an appointment, he couldn't have cared less and just told us to go to the next store. When we got there, the first salesperson assigned to us was friendly and new, but then they switched us to a so-called "experienced" salesperson who was just straight-up rude. I had to ask the manager to switch us back, but the overall customer service was garbage. As for the car itself, I knew a used vehicle would need some maintenance, but the condition it was sold in was unacceptable. They handed it over with a rusted license plate bolt, and when I asked them to remove it, they tried to charge me--even though that's how they gave me the car. I had to take time off work and make multiple trips. They also didn't bother to fill up the gas tank. But the biggest issue? The car was sold to me with major hidden damage to the quarter panel, which was covered up with Bondo and a terrible paint job. I was just informed that I now need to replace the entire quarter panel--despite the Carfax being "clean." When I initially pointed out the cracks to the salesman, his response was: "It is what it is." On top of that, the price listed online is not the real price. I paid like $1500 on top of the price listed online before any taxes or license fees. To close the deal they took like 5 hrs, we were at the dealership 5:30 pm left around 11pm. My daughter came close to buying a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership, but changed their mind at the last minute because there were a bogus charge added and the finance person was abusive when they questioned him about it. Before this happened, they put down a $2000 down payment which the dealership has refused to return even though the sale was never completed. Outrageous, and I'm a lawyer. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE if u want to be ripped off. Finance person named Kiki tacked on $4k worth of warranty that i didnt agree on and tried to play it off like it was a misunderstanding. Not even an apology ftom her either. She kept insisting on my monthly budget and how she can lower it for me, even extending my loan term. Luckily i questioned her breakdown and thats when i saw the addtl $4k(6yr warranty) charge(i only agreed to 2yr warranty for $1.2k. Vehicle also had a side mirror that needed replacement that they agreed on. The day my pregnant wife took in vehicle they told her it will take 2hrs, 2 hrs later they say itll be 4hrs, 4hrs later they said they cant finish it. They couldve at least given her a loaner at 2hrs. When they finally gave her a loaner, it was the smallest Kia u can imagine. The MDX i bought also had a scratch on bumper that they promised theyd touch up. They had my mdx for 2 days and when my wife picked it up, the scratch wasnt even touched up. No full tank, tires unevenly inflated, no car wash. Save yourself the trouble and go to reputable Acura dealers like Mcgrath or Mullers. I went to look at an Acura MDX. When they would not budge on the price, we decided to leave. We returned about half an hour later with the TRUE CAR price we had in our hand which detailed every single fee and tax, with a final price on the MDX, which came based on their calculations. I was told the salesperson, was with another customer and was told to have a seat. While waiting I see the MDX being moved and a lady getting into it. I became very suspicious and was prepared for them to tell me it was sold. After 20 minutes, the salesperson returned and told me it was sold, like I suspected, but I didn't believe it. I left and about 1.5 hrs later the salesperson called me to tell me the ladies deal fell through, which I didn't believe, and he then told that their were dealer addendums for floor matts and some sort of tint, lol. All the other reviews are spot on, I wish I didn't waste my time being lied to. I can't believe they think people fall for this non sense. Went in with a Truecar price and was not even honored a FIXED price. These were additional charges imposed by the dealership which could NOT be removed according to our salesman. Let me also mention there was an ADDITIONAL charge of $3,000 for an inspection they would perform bumper to bumper. This inspection allowed you to return the vehicle if any issue arose and if not repairable they would accept the car to be returned. BUT this "return" was ONLY valid for 30days from date of purchase. I can understand why this dealship has a 2 star rating. about I stopped by Napleton Acura a couple of weeks ago on my way back from a meting to view inventory, as I was interested in an Acura MDX. After being there 5-6 minutes and walking around the showroom, no one even took interest that I was there. Certainly a different experience from when I purchased 2 vehicles from them in the early 2000's. However, I reached out to them again this past week through the internet since I was out of state to check on a particular MDX listed in their inventory, an MDX Advance in white with parchment interior and shared that I wouldn't be back in town for several days. some Jessica Stone answered by email. However, I received a barrage of emails, phone calls, and texts seeing if I was coming in that evening or the next day as if they never read my emails. I finally sent Jessica an email asking if I was communicating with a robot. Texts stated up to $7500 dollars off new Acura's. I asked for the window staicker to be sent so I could look at the options on the vehicle. She sent wrong spec sheet on one with a black interior. Finally, now in town, I called and spoke with Jessica and she acted like she had never heard of me. She had a hard time verifying inventory. I had earlier requested a quote and the dealership had not responded to the earlier request for pricing. She stated I would be paying full MSRP. What about the advertised big discounts? I would have to come in for any special pricing. I asked to be switched to the sales manager or a sales rep and she said everyone was busy and couldn't take my call. I recently purchased a 2020 RLX from Napleton Acura, Elhurst,and my experience was awful. To start off my salesman did greet me at the door, but he never introduced himself by name, nor did he ever ask me my name, PROBLEM. Once he brought the car up to the dealership for me to see, we went out on a test drive. While driving he was pointing out the car's features, mainly the radio. Upon our return, he asked for my information to input me into the system, I only got his name when I asked him for a card that I saw on the desk, Diorni, I think. I informed him that I was very interested in the vehicle and wanted to know the numbers before I left, at 1130. Once he had all of the information needed, I did not get answers back until 1140 . I told him several times that my time was running out. So, once I put my coat on then things started moving, A manager came over to move things along, but I had to get to work, and I informed him to just call me. No problem. The finance guy called me on my way to work and I told him that I would come back on Wednesday, again on my way to work, but he stated that he would be off, no problem. I did return on Wednesday, only to be approached by another salesman, again no name, who wanted to start the process all over again, PROBLEM. Okay, so now another team of closers started, and I was ready to finish the purchase, which they were moving quickly to do, but I was told that the few repairs I needed done on the car would not be completed until Saturday for delivery, no problem. I then received several calls, from who knows, with no messages, from the dealership, every time I called right back and no matter who I spoke with no one could help me, PROBLEM. I even spoke to people in the service department since I knew that's where the car was going, again no clue why I was calling, PROBLEM. My frustration was getting out of control. After several calls trying to resolve whatever, the calls were about, I got another salesman, again no name, who was mostly interested in knowing what the issues were, and would not transfer my call to a manager, as I was asking only to speak to a manager, PROBLEM Finally, a manager called me back, Desa, who I must say was on top of her game, She got things moving and finished quickly., HERO. So, on Saturday, I go to pick up the car and when I arrived my first salesman greeted my wife and myself again not introducing himself to her, So we go outside he asked how the repairs looked and handed me the keys. NO CARWASH, ALL OF THE TIRES AND RIMS were dirty, and NO FULL TANK OF GAS. PROBLEM. Based on what I read this must be the operating model. When asked what the $2500 was the only thing I captured was to prepare the car to sell and due to Covid it requires more attention... Total disgrace. I told two friends (and will tell more) and they strongly recommended Carmax to avoid such a painful experience. Ed Napleton Acura in Elmhurst leads the charge in perpetuating the classic car dealer stereotypes of misleading customers in an attempt to make a sale with any means necessary. Unless you have time to waste and want to support those sorts of businesses, I'd look else where for your next car purchase. I found a car on their website and went down to see it. As I was pulling it around for the test drive, the wonderful salesperson I was dealing with came out from getting a plate and let me know someone had beat me to it and was back to sign for the car. I was disappointed but I went back into the dealership and the red flags started... As I walked by the table where a different salesman was trying to close the deal on the car, I heard him tell them "see that guy, he just wanted to test drive it and was ready to buy it but you're here to sign so let's get the deal done". Red flag number one, but I get that pushy sales techniques might work. While I was waiting to find out exactly what was going on, I heard one salesman say "I don't think it's right, but when a car has appointments on it and sells they tell us not to cancel the appointments because maybe we can sell them a different car." Red flag number two. Morning comes, and I decided to call them to see if the deal had gone through. Good old Jeremy answers the phone. He tells us "No, that car is on the lot right now, ready to go." He tells us he doesn't know why but the deal from the night before didn't go through. We confirm with him, he again lets us know it's there and he'll set us up an appointment in 30 minutes, we will (and I quote) "be the first people of the day to see the car". We cancel our morning plans, get the kids in the car and race over. I walk in and find out... the car sold that morning. Jeremy either lied to get us in, or was negligent in actually checking if the car was still for sale when we asked "Is the car still for sale?" It seems like a pretty basic question for a car dealer to get right. The people from the night before had come back in at 8am (an hour before the dealership opens, seems like Jeremy would have noticed that going on) and bought the car. We called almost an hour later and he assured us it was still on the lot and he didn't know why the deal hadn't gone through. I expressed my frustration to the manager, who offered me a gas card for my time before asking "is there another car I can show you on the lot". Clearly their practice is to mislead customers about availability and use them as pawns with other customers to try and get deals done. Cars sell and I'm sure I'll find another one, I just hope it will be from a reputable dealer that respects customers and doesn't try to pull one over on their customers like Ed Napleton Acura in Elmhurst appears to do. read more

Purchased a new car there and set up maintenance. In 3 times going there, 2 for maintenance they told me to schedule and 1 for warrantee repair, each time they didn't have my appointment and really ended up nothing being done and felt like I was a nuisance to them. Called for a customer service survey, never got a call back to discuss the issues I had. Now called service to reschedule my service and started to talk to an adviser. Advisor then quickly told me let me put you on hold and the call went off to leave a message. I feel like they know it is me and they do not want to service the new car I bought from them which is very nice. For a luxury line, competing with Lexus and Infinity, this dealership does not appear to try to meet or exceed customer expectations. Feels like a get your money and forget you. Hope this is not with all Acura dealerships. Love the car but regret buying it from this dealership. Never had this problem with any other dealership. Been about 6 months since I bought it. Ed Napleton Acura I would like to give 0. My opinion this place need to be shutdown Its not good for Acura's name. Acura is luxury car and service supposed to be very good but unfortunately not . I had twice major job on my car. The car is under warranty. Both times i waited for loaner a week. Couldn't go to work or store I called Acura costumer service and filed complaint about it. Was very stressful. Two days ago i got back my car after engine replacement. It took 1 month. After 3 weeks car is ready. When i was ready to pick up they told me that technician is off today. And tomorrow person by the desk has off so they transfer me for pick up next week Finally they told me that car is ready to pick up and everything looks good. They did alignment, replaced AC line( they said that they made the hole accidentally) and lots of more job done and for free I was happy and left the office. But my happiness was just for couple minutes when I noticed that my car pulling me to the right side And air conditioning is not working properly. Made an appointment to different dealership. They checked my car. It was no alignment done. I had to pay for this. The oil was leaking AC blowing warm and cold air at the same time. I got a loaner They fixed next day and i drove my car finally happy! Before i left, technician let me drive the car . Original post: I am thoroughly upset with this dealership. I went in, with cash, ready to pay for a used car on the lot. I test-drove the car with the salesman, and the car was beautiful. It was a 2015 Ford Focus SE hatchback with 55,000 miles on it, and the listing price was $8,555. The car was on empty though and needed an oil change. The inside still needed detailing and Sayed said it would be detailed while we worked on finances. I was talking to the salesman Sayed. He was a fairly kind man, but any time I brought up the subject of the numbers, it was thrown to the side. My father and I sat through and told him I did not want to do financing as Sayed tried to push that upon me multiple times. Finally, we began to look a look at the CarFax. It was clean, and the car was reasonably priced for it all. We then sat for 10 minutes as Sayed went and hand wrote every "accommodation" for the car. This included even airbags, a key, and fog lights. He filled up the page, explained it all like it was this amazing car with things nobody has heard of. Next, he goes to "talk with his financial advisor". We waited for what felt like hours before he returned with a lot of green writing on the sheet. He says "the car itself is $8,555. Then, we have the mandatory $2,000 warranty on the car." My dad and I stood up and said that I was not paying for a warranty. We did not want another thing added to the car. He said we would "haggle" with that later. The next thing on his list was a $2,500 USED CAR INSPECTION fee. They were going to make me pay almost an extra 3 grand for them to check if the car was worth selling in the first place. At that point, we stood up to leave. We said we would not pay more than $10,000 for it. That was it. Sayed made us write it down on the paper. He then disappeared again for ten minutes and brought back a manager. The manager asked how we were. We said "frustrated", and the first thing out of his mouth was "I know the fees can be a little jarring" and before he could say "but" we stood up and left. There was no way I was paying almost double for a car that hadn't been detailed or taken care of in the slightest, and for them to do an inspection they do on any car that comes in their lot. Needless to say, they did not treat me right at all. They were rude and rash about the prices. They did not care about my sale, and were trying to rip me off with fake fees that are not at any other dealership I've gone to. I'm sure those fees wouldn't have been a problem if I had done financing, but they weren't happy with me wanting to just purchase the car. Stay away from this dealer they will a few you over big time. I got 4 cars myself from this dealer and my family another 6 or 7 over last 7 years and they screwed me over on the last two Acura leases we did from them. They did a lease return without telling us. They lease returned my wife's car 1 year early! Without telling us and we were under the impression it was trade in on both of them. Now Acura Financial wants the money from us. We didn't know this. They sent it to collections and dealer is telling us it was on the contract and it's our fault. STAY AWAY from this dealer. They will screw you over. They don't care about customer retention. Even someone who gets cars so much from them. You know that saying that customer service continues after the purchase??? I've been taking my car here for years. Mike and Ethan in service are great, and tho it's expensive to take your car to the dealer, they accept coupons. One of the perks are free car washes. Usually not a problem, but tonight the wash wasn't turning on. I sat there for 10 min. Saw the detail guys different one 3 times look out at me and went back to talking. Really not difficult to figure out; I mean I'm not at a Starbucks drive thru! I called the dealership phone number talked to 2 sales people that sent me to an operator. Again, come on guys, it's Thursday night and there are no customers in your lot buying cars. You have time. Take the 30 second walk ALLLLL the way to service to get someone to turn the wash on. The kicker is, someone texts the detail guys, and they turn the wash on. Talk about full circle. C'MON GUYS!! EVERY PERSON THAT I SAW OR TALKED TO COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER TONIGHT.
